  1. +8 and you will be fine.
  2. If you plan on doing more work to it such as porting, adv timing, etc. then you are better off doing it now and being done with it. Cuz sooner or later you are going to regret not doing it if you don't. Good practice to take care of the crank now while you can. Even if you buy a Hot Rods crank you still need to have it welded or inspected if its already done. Save your money from buying another crank for something else down the road and have your stock crank welded.
  3. If it's a reed then you may or may not know which cylinder until you take it apart. In my case I could just barely see and feel a difference in the exhaust. But I had a friend last year with the exact same issue I had (same type of motor actually) and he couldn't tell a difference between the two. Just have to yard off the carbs and take a peek. I was able to see it right away. Other times you can't. Good luck and let us know what you find!
  4. Check your reeds. Had the exact same problem on my 10mill a few weeks ago. Found a few warped reed petals on the left cylinder.
  5. I have personally seen this chassis run. It shoots straight and narrow. If I had a reason to get a rigid chassis this wouldn't even be up here. Bump for an honest seller.
  6. I'll take the gas cap, rear lug nuts and whatever fuel is left in the tank if you part it out.
  7. I have a buyer already. Thanks for your interest guys. If it doesn't go through for some reason then I will repost.
  8. Hey Firehead. Welcome ( a little early I know but hey....I'm tryin) to the great northwest! It appears most of your questions have already been answered. But if you need any info on riding the dunes here please pm me and I'll give you my email address. I'll try and find out anything you need to know! i spend most of my time at Sand Lake. It won't be too far of a trek for you to go there sometime. There are plenty of peeps out here that are willing to help you out. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help ya out. I was in the Navy once and I know how difficult it can be moving to the unknown. Good luck and I hope to "roost" with ya soon!
  9. I have a set of Toomey T-5 silencers and stingers for sale. The stingers have just a tad bit of surface rust toward the silencer side (trying to be honest) but some steel whool and mothers should clean that right up. Its not that bad at all really. The packing was good when I took them off a month ago. The only reason I am selling them is becuase I have gone to the Cascade Innovations CSFX set up (damn Oregon sound laws! ) My price is $100 bucks shipped. I check BHQ a few times a week (due to work) so if you are interested please be patient and I will honor the first come first serve basis. Thanks!
