  1. Holy Crap... next time I'm using small instead of medium pics size!!
  2. New, unmounted LSR premium ball joints. I ordered these not knowing that my spindles were reamed to Honda spec. Why pay $125 plus shipping when you can buy mine for $115... shipping included? O.B.O. Located in San Diego. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Heading out to Glamis for another weekend of dunes & brew. Gonna be at Pad 3 so roll out and meet up! PM me for contact info.
  4. You already have the perfect pipe for your application. I run 'em on my 4mil and chose them over a lot of others. They work better than most, they tuck in better than almost all, the silencers are solidly mounted using 2 bolts so they stay put and support the entire exhaust system when you're bombing around and as a bonus.... you can buy the Turbine Core silencers if you need spark arrestors. I've used CPI's, Toomey T-5, Paul Turner Mids -- I prefer the Fatty's hands down for real world application (non-drag race use). Truth be told, they make more power bottom to top over the T-5's. The main reason people comment about the awesome top end hit on Toomeys is because they have a big midrange hole so when it gets back on the pipe, you're thinking, Wow, what a hit! Actually, their crappy midrange loss of power is what they are feeling. lol IMHO.
  5. I ended up buying the ones from Lonestar. Does anyone have experience with the Ricky Stator ball joints? They claim them to be superior in every respect... but then again, they believe their stators are the best on the market.
  6. I was just on the RMATV site looking for the +2+1 Honda tie rod kit for Banshees but didn't see them. Could you post a link?
  7. It's impossible to get money from a DDD. . http://www.cc.com/video-clips/ywukry/mind-of-mencia-dee-dee-dee-song
  8. I need to replace upper and lower ball joints as well as the outer tie rod end on my +2+1 Lonestar A arms. What are the best ones to get and where should I get them? Here's the part you were wondering about: Yea, some tard ran into my banshee front end at an angle... taking out 2 ball joints, 1 tie rod end, wasting the Douglas blue wheel, bent my steering hoop, fuk'd my throttle cable... and that's all I've seen so far. Hopefully NOT more to come! Thanks guys...
  9. Same dates for me... I screwed up and posted the wrong dates... 12-15FEB.
  10. The concern I have is that I'm not sure how long the CF reeds will last. My common sense meter tells me they'll need to be changed on schedule. I know you can run the fiberglass Boyesen for ever and not give it a 2nd thought. I have a set of VF4's in my Banshee... but I can't say if I'm getting more power than I did with my old Boyesens because I have a new build. They do LOOK racy tho!! lol
  11. I'm thinking I'll be there 19-22FEB prolly on Pad 3. PM me if you're gonna head out and we'll meet up somewhere. Drop by camp and do a couple of Captain shots!!
  12. Anyone else heading to Glamis this weekend? Looks like good weather and the sand should be awesome! Prolly gonna park at the end of Gecko Rd this time, near Roadrunner. Planning on getting in Fri in the afternoon, staying until Sunday or Monday. Give a shout if you're gonna be out!
  13. Maybe I should have asked you to post this Glamis meetup. Seems like your posts get more traction than mine!! haha.
  14. Most riders change their oil waaayyy to often. The reason the manual says to change it annually is because we don't have an odometer.... so they recommend yearly to be safe from litigation. My RZ350 Yamaha manual stated transmission oil changes every 16,000 miles. Yes, Sixteen Thousand Miles. Is sand and drag racing harder on an engine than a bike on the street? Sure. Without combustion gas and blowby to pollute the oil tho, the shit lasts a looonng time!! If you wanted to replace it 10x times earlier than you should, every other year would be too frequent. Since I ride about 1000 miles per year, I guess once a decade should about do it!! lol. I actually change it every other year. My next change is due in 2017.
  15. I'm gonna be on the south end of Pad 3 off Gecko Road in Glamis during TG. Hell yea!! Anyone else planning on heading out? Tentative arrival date is the 24th, but that might change. LMK and we can exchange contact info. See you at Olds and the Sunset Drags.... Jay from SanD.
  16. I'm looking for a set of ASV levers.... of course I find out you had a set AFTER they're sold! lol
  17. Mine should be here in a couple more days. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281524870456?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Thanks for the recommended seller, Tyler...
  18. Going out in tomorrows mail. Payin' It Forward...
  19. I used a Regina a long time ago and wasn't happy with it's longevity. I've had good results with RK. They've been my "go to" chain for a long time. $92 shipped: http://www.ebay.com/itm/RK-GB520EXW-120-LINK-GOLD-OFFROAD-AND-QUAD-EXW-XW-RING-CHAIN-/141737756680?hash=item21003a8808:g:AxkAAOSwPcVVwk1a&vxp=mtr
  20. So none of you posers need the o-rings, huh? Trash day is on Wednesday so if I don't get an address to send them to... they're gonna be shitcanned.
  21. I'm thinking about going with this for my handlebar light. http://www.ebay.com/itm/381265043443?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I thought about maybe running this because it's smaller... http://www.ebay.com/itm/171628964294?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT I'm planning on running 2- 35w HID's in PIAA housings in the stock location. Hopefully I'll have enough light.
  22. The high temp resets when temp drops below 125º. The old ones had a plastic temp tube... they were shitty and returnable. Newer style is aluminum. I went with the 22mm as well and have been happy with mine over the 3 years I've had it.
  23. You can have all the o-rings I didn't use from my PD kit when I installed domes in my Chariot head. I used the 6 important ones but maybe you need the upper case or stud o-rings. LMK if you want 'em, Jay from SanD.
  24. I need new radiator hoses and like the look of the silicone... but have some reservations. I've been told they are slippery and can pop off easily -- is this true? I don't mind the low tech rubber stockers...but since I need new hoses I don't mind spending money on whatever one is best. The last f'n thing I need is to be stranded 15 miles from camp!! Reliability is key for sure. Opinions? Thanks, Jay from SanD.
