N/P. Maybe you need to clean the screen on your petcock, clean out the petcock itself, or get a Pingel!! Even if you had bigger bowls, if you are using fuel faster than it is delivered I see a new top end in your near future...

It would have been a $10,400 investment quad but he saved 400 bux on porting.

Mikuni Pocket Tuner...you can find them locally or on eBay for $6.00 delivered. Allows for slide rule style calculations for temp/elevation. Using the conversion below, you should be able to figure Keihin jetting too!! I can't guarantee the accuracy...I got it from the internet. :geek: UIAYOR. I needed to send a small part to Wisconsin and figured the price couldn't be too much more than the USPS, I'd drop it off at the local UPS store. Small box weighed in at 1/2lb...8 ounces. $10.87 shipped. WTF?? It would have been $2.65 at the USPS but their slow ass line kept me there past 5:00, so I missed the post office. And the clincher is that instead of taking the 6 days it will to get there, it would have only been 3. They aren't getting my cash next time..... :: Does eBay own UPS now??

Sweet looking part!! I've seen them on (Fe)eBay and thought about getting one. I was wondering what the coolant capacity was...could you jam your domes in, fill the head with water, and measure how many ounces it held? :geek: Their chrome looked excellent in the pictures. How about posting some close ups?? -
It looks like it's gone!! Gotta trade with flyhighprerunner en route.

CANCELLED!!! Too Friggin Hot!!

I was thinking of hitting up the sand this weekend if the temp drops down enough. Mid 70's in the evening sound like pretty good riding weather. 90 in the day is pushing it though.... Anyone else planning on going?? Jay From SanD.

bikes pull hard one way when braking
jayzx10r replied to sangheraent's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
It is because one side is getting more pressure than the other when you compress the master cylinder. First thing is to make sure that your pads have not been contaminated with oil. The oily one usually locks up first. That being said, you probably have a sticking caliper...either the brake piston or pins are gunked up and not allowing free movement. Wire wheel the pins, grease them up and see if that makes a difference, otherwise a caliper seal kit is in your future. -
Thanks for the info. _____-----<<<<GREAT>>>>-----_____ Now I have to find a nose piece... Seems like the domino theory.....

What part and where?? Can you show a pic??

I deleted the smart ass message I was gonna post. I leave it to the reader to mentally complete my thought.... :yelrotflmao: Probably funnier that way!! But seriously, like MikeNick said...you should sell your stuff on FeeBay then buy what you want with your earnings...

I could be up for that if I can find one for sale here. In fact, I'll ship mine off to Pingel and have them rebuild it and have them ship to you...or whoever buys it. They offer a $12.00 shipping covered rebuild service and at that price, Y-not?? BTW: mine looks perfect and would be new internally!!

would my bike run good with....
jayzx10r replied to 2-stroke_couch's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
Hey.. You could sell them for more than it would cost to pick up a set of used T5s or Fattys...if they are in good/great condition. The FMF pipes work real well, and you can get them cheap because a lot of people that have never used them say they suck.....but they are actually really good!! I had Fattys before I bought my CPI's. You may have a little down time, but the wait would be worth it. My $.02. Jay From SanD. -

I'm looking for a 5.6 gallon tank in blue, black, white, or red. Not that 80's blue/purple but the current blue!! :yelrotflmao: A pingle would be a bonus. I'm in San Diego...factor that in your shipping quote. Thanks, Jay in SanD. Anyone know which brand is better? The Clarke's are selling for $190 new shipped to the door.....

http://sandiego.craigslist.org/nsd/mcy/847224147.html I was looking for a Banshee for my bro when I ran across this one at $4200 OBO. I have photos if you want me to email them to you. If I didn't have my 'shee, I'd own this one now!!! The pics are sweeeeettttt!!!! I emailed the seller some questions and here is his response to me: Hello Jay, Q: What can you tell me about your banshee? A: The story is Brent from procraft built and installed the suspension, tm racing engines (tim morgan) put the motor together, and my buddy mikey from factory kawasaki did the rest of the work. He is Bubbas Mechanic right now. So the bike is in very good shape. It a little dirty from sitting in the garage, as you can see in the pictures. I went out for one ride season before last. I have always run the bike fat, rather than lean, and it is set up to run pump gas(stock size domes). Hope that explains it enough. I have a 3 year old kid that doesn't allow me to do the desert anymore. Please let me know if you have any more questions. Q: What does it have for suspension? Front arms/shocks? Rear swingarm (how long), shock, and axle? Are the shocks set up for sand/dunes or trails/MX? What weight rider are the shocks set up for? A: +2 A-Arms from brent +2 1/2 Swing-Arm again brent front works shocks 190lb rider rear revalved stock shock... the bike has only been to the dunes. Q: Any engine work...stroker crank (is it welded and trued), ported (by who?), carbs, stator, reeds, cool head, or?? How did it end up as a 400cc? What bore are the cylinders on? A: It also has 34mm carbs, K/N filter kit, Toomey pipes, abut the motor... The POWER-VALVED

That sux, bro. Not everyone puts the same significance in their promise or on their word. Hopefully the seller will be cool enough to send you a money order back to you. You still have time to cancel payment on your money order...but it's gonna cost you about $15 bux. Maybe the seller will reimburse you the fee since he caused it...after all, he made an additional $75.00 by brokering another deal!!
