  1. Are you running straight cut primary gears? If not, stay away from the TZ bearing!!
  2. If you're duning, then you are probably running V paddles. If that's the case, you don't have to worry about snapping wheelies all the time like the guys that have Haulers do. All I ride are dunes at Glamis with occasional racing and I'm more than happy with my +2 swinger. I've ridden a +6 and hated it. Even a +4 was crappy comparatively to my setup to me. It felt like there was a hinge in the ass end. My vote is to run the shortest you can...for me that turned out to be a +2.
  3. I think I get about 10MPG riding in sand so you will get better mileage than that for sure. I'd guess you'd be good for 45+miles on a tank.
  4. So your cylinders are sold?

  5. I have Hauler Rears and Smoothie fronts.
  6. Figured it had to be a stocker (or Pro-x) cast. Otherwise, it would look like my avitar pic. Forged don't crack apart, they wad up .
  7. Aaawww Dude, Just saw your post....I needed those cylinders. Jason told me you wanted a crank. If the buyer flakes, give me a shout!! Jay in SanD.
  8. Pretty cool quad in it's own right but what do you expect....show up on arguably the coolest Banshee site and diss a crapload of longtime contributing members while trying to sell your shit without an eBay Final Value Fee. http://www.motorcyclistonline.com/performancedata/122_0108_pdataresults/index.html confirms that your motor puts out a respectable 137HP. Respectable for a modern 750 that is. My '05 ZX10r lays down 170HP, but I have a good one... The reason your speedo shows you going so fast is that it reads off the countershaft. Those wheels have a lot less roll out than the 190/50/17 rear wheel that was original for the bike. I'd estimate you are going less than 3/4 whatever your speedometer reads.... But I'm sure you know that since based on your written prose, you sir are a rocket scientist and have already considered that probability. Funny how it takes a motor twice the size to get close to the performance of a decent lightly modded Banshee. Good luck on your sale, DoucheNozzle.
  9. No, not really. You're not a NooB but you are going to Glamis!! It's gonna be a great weekend to ride, give a shout if you're gonna be out there...
  10. Heading out to Glamis maybe as early as Wednesday, FEB1 but will be there over the weekend sho-fo. As usual, I'll be at Pad 3 with the Glamis Bomber--my '80's sand colored Southwind RV. Orange safety cones on the roof make it even more of an eyesore so it should be pretty easy to find if you look for it. Bringing a NooB from Virginia with so we'll have someone to beat up on. PM me, drop by or meet up at the Sunset Drags on Saturday Night. Jay from SanD.
  11. My suggestion is to put a zip tie a couple of feet up your flag pole so you can be recognized as a BHQ'er. Not as cool as if we had a bitchin' 8" BHQ flag, but it'll get it done.... I put one on mine and if you're looking for it, it stands out.
  12. I know I'll be there for sure on Pad 3 sometime during the week preceeding Prez day...just don't know when I'm heading out there for sure. Dragging is OK but duning kicks ass...we should go on a group ride for sure!! I'll have orange safety cones on the roof of my bomber '80's sand colored RV. Pad 3 FTW!!!
  13. Nope. Too bad too...I had Rum, Vodka, Beer and Pizza!! I left today (Monday) at sunset. Next run may not be until Prez Week but I hope to be out there for the whole week.
  14. Meet up Friday and Saturday night at the Sunset Drags by Pad 1. An easy place to connect up is the west side at the beginning of the lineup. I'll run an uncut zip tie a couple of feet up my flagpole so I can be found easier. Still hoping to camp at Pad 3. I'll have Orange Safety Cones on the roof of my sand colored 80's RV. Think needle/haystack...lol.
  15. Which vendors row are you gonna be at? Gecko Rd or near the Glamis store? I'm heading out on the 29th and hope to be on Pad 3. 2 quads in my group so far....
  16. Planning on heading out to Glamis on 29DEC. Anyone else heading out?? I wanna chill (hopefully) at Pad 3. Let me know If you're gonna be out there and we'll meet up!!
  17. I run the STU razors....best tire out there period!! Baldies are great when all you're doing is straight line dragging but they suck hind titty for turning. The STU's are so light that people trip when I hand one to them off the bike.....
  18. 'Spect I'll see you guys again this year...you know I'm going to Glamis!!
  19. I got my PIAA's on (fe)eBay shipped for $15.00 for a pair. I thought they were whiter and brighter than my bud's with the Tusk bulbs...theirs were bluer than mine, but not worth the retail price difference. I have different housings tho. Get a deal or get Tusk bulbs.
  20. He'd have had an extra 20g's if he wouldn't have been unreasonable last year. Bet he's
  21. This thing's on AGAIN?? Start it up and watch it devaluate $49,000 in one minute!! lol
  22. Anyone heading to Glamis over the Thanksgiving week or weekend? Kinda on the fence about going since my group cancelled but post up if you're heading out. I was thinking of leaving Wednesday night and staying through Sunday. I like the Gecko Rd side more than the washes (sunset drags kick ass) but I'm open to camp wherever my RV can go. Jay in SanD.
  23. How soon are you going to need it? I'm pulling a perfectly good stock stroke welded, maxload bearing crank within the month to do a 4mil conversion. Let me know....
