I say stay away from that razor blade method. Youre just asking for a slip up ans more scratches. put some blue painters tape on them use a marker and get some reference points with a tape measure. Then cut a piece of cardboard and make a template so both sides are symmetrical line it up on both sides and just trace. (Def do this so you can figure out what you like and so they match. Then take a jigsaw with a smooth finish blade ad have some balls and cut them. rip the tape off. Use some sandpaper and round over the edges and then hit the edges with a lighter or torch. And ride safe. Be careful if you have never been there b4. Watch out for the kiddie tracks along gecko rd and be careful when riding the dunes. You will be rippin thru them and come over the top of them and they might just DROP! Just take it easy for a bit b4 you get the feel for the terrain. Hang out with Wacko. He is a good friend of mine and def one of the best riders I know. The first day we were there he foubd out how the dunes could really drop off. Almost ate it bigtime comming over a dune. Think he had a little more respect after that. You are in for the trip of a lifetime.

Joey. My cousin in San diego has 3 30gl barrels and 2 55gl barrels that we could use. We could strap the 3 30s to the roof of the van empty and after we unload we could drive into town and fill up. Then when he comes out later that week he can bring one of the 55s in his trailer and we should be good.
