Just curious why do you have a stocker? Why the +2 swinger? Yeah that does sound purpose built. Glad you like the 450 but I still am not moving my shee for one thats kinda why I got a bike.

I ride at Sand Hollow 2000 ft and coral pinks 4500 ft. I twist a nob and I am tuned. I don't foul plugs for 50 bucks prolly on of my favorite mods. No offense but your stock purpose built duner needs some mods to be a purpose built duner. The Bansh and the 450 don't compare stock 450 wins hands down.

My wife is 5'9'' and 130 she still is not getting on my dirt bike. That is a smoking deal and there is no way in hell your getting a 450r for that price. I bought my Banshee in peices 1,200 3 sets of carbs, 2 frames, all the mods you see in my sig, the motor was done just not put together. I got some pegs, bars, twist kit some used T-5 pipes, rebuilt the rear works shock and a power jet kit. I have a tit more then 2,200.00 into it new paddles and dirt tires. I have had it for three years no probs. I sold all the extra parts almost 600.00 so thats what around 1600.00. Now I realize you can find a used 450 and do the same but not as easy and he said new.

In the dunes where pedro said he was going to ride I don't think having E start is a big deal. This guy is buying a new 450, you may have less into your 450 then your Banshee. I was suggesting buy used and build. I could build 2 of my Banshees for the price of a new 450. I have no idea what your Bansh has done to it but I have never had any 450 that isn't big bore or running nos run with my banshee in the dunes. I agree there are a lot of morons out there who don't keep their bikes up and yes if you don't get crazy with the 450 it is reliable. I have works shocks all around shee handles way better in the dunes then any Stock 450. Remember he is buying new he could very easily have 9-10 grand into his 450 and still not be able to keep up. On top of all this what if he does want more power the 450 can only take you so far power wise. The only limit on a banshee is your wallet and maybe how big your sack is. I don't blame you for not liking bikes getting used to this thing after riding quads for so long is rough but what a rush. I also like how much easier it is to find good jumps on the bike. What mods do you have on your Banshee?

I can see if you were doing Hare scrambles but even then my Bansh once warm could be kicked over by my 4 yr old on the first try. I have an 09 Honda CRF 450R if electric start is so important why doesn't my bike have it? I agrree in stock form go for the YFZ I have ridden lots of them nice quads for sure but in the DUNES imo the mods I listed in my previous post a banshee can't be beat. Most I think on here would agree a ported carbed banshee will require little effort to keep running. I have seen first hand what happens when you try getting enough power to run with a well built bansh the 450's do not last period. Why even buy a 450 quad in the first place? The dirt bike versions are faster, better suspension and so light. I am faster in almost every situation on my bike Jumps, whoops, trails and hills. Still have love for my bansh in the dunes though over the bike.

Yes the 450 is way better stock. You said dunes though why would get anything else? A Banshee with a good port job, pipes, carbs, A arms, axle, shocks, Ims pegs and a good set of bars is unbeatable in the dunes. You can pick a used one up for pennies right now, through some parts at it and wake her up you won't be dissapointed. You can easily do all this for way cheaper then a new 450. Fouled out you said E start as one of the reasons. I could see that if you were talking about kicking over a 450 but a banshee, common man if you can't kick over a banshee you should do the world a favor and shoot yourself .

I have a feeling she will grow out of whatever I get her quickly. She was riding a bike real early. She hits jumps wheelies and does stoppies with the best of the boys her age in the neighborhood. We don't have many girls in the hood some of the older boys make it a point to teach the little squirts how to get hurt. I have had her on a banshee or a dirt bike from day one and banshee was the word for every quad or dirt bike up to a few months ago. The tech is there, I think the biggest prob is the fact that 2 strokes are not even really looked at for MX anymore. If the AMA will grow some sac and level the playing feild for us I think quite a few riders would ride a 250 two stroke over a 250 4 stroke. The other issue the manufacture's are making way more on these four strokes then the two strokes more parts equals more repair costs, bikes get replaced quicker. If the AMA allows 250 vs 250 mark my words Yamaha would have to make a new Bansh. I to will keep my keep my fingers crossed. The AMA is a bunch of gay homo's currently.

I do this for a living and there is nothing gay about proving how hard you work. Matt the junk food will kill you, eating is every bit more important if not more than the working out. Make sure you get some strength training in working your major muscle groups will help you lose weight to. I recommend making a plan for eating and the workouts you should also consistently change your routines about every 2-4 weeks. Dropping 50lbs will be the best mod your shee has seen, tear it up. I was at 6'1'' 211 and 11% body fat. I started a cut 5/25 6 day routine and very clean foods. The workouts are crazy first plyometrics routine three of us chucked. I am looking at about 190ish for weight and body fat 5-8%. I also would like my BMI to say I am obese still.
