I just put a new top end in the outlaw. Does anyone on here like a specific shop for dyno tuning on EFI in Utah or Vegas? I am sick of driving 45 minutes to get a barrel of E85. Plus the blend was really inconsistent at the shitty station I was getting it at. The money I save on race gas seems small when I burn through a tank of E85 in about 45 minutes if that.

Idiot eh you still bought and ride a 400 you have had good quads and yet you bought a 400. There is a reason you got it dirt cheap. Biased any brand of 450 is light years ahead of your quad. If you like it cool man to each his own. I just don’t think it is better than any 450 or other 400 for that matter and the Banshee just has so much more potential.

You sold your 450 quads to keep a 400 . That pretty much says it all. You like to go slower cool. If your slow 400 is better handling then a banshee it is not by much and only in the tight slow trails. The Kawie and suziki both are better versions of it. Who rides your 400? My bet would be it's a girl. It is good for that. You just need a just a few more mods on that shee and you will never want to ride that 400 again.

You had 450 quads and sold them and kept your 400? You are right if the motor is left alone the 400 is not a bad quad it works great for a wife bike. It is a better choice if you want go slow. Make it fast? Sure you can get them to run with a stock 450 but they don't last that way and it will cost 2500. The 400 isn't a bad bike but it has no place now the 450's are light years ahead in every department and the banshee has straight line over the 450’s. My guess is if you cornered an editor of dirtwheels they would not dispute a banshee with carbs and a stock frame can be built into a beast. I really like this setup is it a must have for every banshee owner heck no. I would say your 472 is no different nothing wrong with having a monster As far as the stock frame being not to bad with good suspenders it is ok but still the weakest point of the shee. I would say come swap rides with me at the dunes. A quick skip across the back breakers you would be sold on the frame and setup. How is that for a pitch for me riding that 472?

Nah not a loyalist I have a CRF450 dirt bike. I would buy a banshee before a 400ex though. It is just not that much better carving or jumping plus the motor is a turd and has no potential. The banshee motor more than makes up for the handling if you are talking banshee vs 400ex. All I was saying is the 400ex is totally a waste with these 450 quads out now and the banshee still has something on them. I agree the Banshee is not the best for anything other than a straight line even with my outlaw framed shee. A purpose built 450 is going to be better on a mx track or in the woods. That being said I do love this thing it is fast as hell and handles real close to a fully built mx 450. I love surprising the hell out of everyone that rides with me at how fast a banshee can be on a track, dunes, woods this sucker is a monster. I would highly recommend an outlaw frame and a well built fi system if you want to sport the shee anywhere other than the dunes. If not just get both a 450 and a shee for the dunes. I talked with Bobby at LSR they will build a 250r or Yamaha 450 based frame for 2,500.00 right now! Pretty damn good price.

I agree with loco here they had to love the 400 to spark the industry. The magazines you like to read are biased to new stuff they kind of have to be. The 400 is better for a girl quad and that’s it. The banshee is old but it's not an air cooled, old technology pile of slowness with very limited potential. You are very wrong some quads don't have a thing they are good at and are just flat out worthless.

I get some of what you are saying Windycity but the frame is a really weak point mx, trails and even in the dunes it is just not as good as these new 450's. I have spoken to Lsr several times about the outlaw frame recently and they will still build this frame for anyone. That being said the frame on this bike was made in 99 pretty old. Nothing wrong with carbs they can be every bit as fast if not faster then efi. If all you want to do is drag and dune stay with carbs for sure. I bought this bike from Loboboy and have put some miles on it dunes, mx, sea level to 11,000 feet no jetting changes no fouled plugs and it is rideable at 90 horse. I dig the EFI and the frame! I for sure agree dirt wheels has been gay since they said a 400ex is better then a shee.

I bought Lobo's Outlaw and love it there have been a few speed bumps but well worth it I have a straight mx quad that can dune better then just about any 450 out there. I rode it at 10,000 feet without doing anything to it It is a bitch to start when it is warm due to the E85 and 200psi. I am working on getting a hold of Kevin to see if there is anything we can do with that but all in all If you have the money EFI and Banshee work amazing. Taking it to Saint Anthony's this weekend

Carwin has way better standup. All he had to do was stand it back up if he did he wins that fight. If Brock takes him down yeah he will win. I think Carwin will learn from this fight and make him stand up. Sure Lesnar can improve but don’t you think Carwin will as well. I really don’t see cardio as the only thing that can help him. I am 6’1’’ 210 and have a 60 lb weighted vest I run a plyometric class at my gym and we all wear them we run sprints, squat hops, frog leaps etc. It is not possible to go full out for 5 minutes and not gas at that weight. I just did my first Iron Man my cardio is not weak. He is not fat yeah he could probably lose some muscle and have better cardio but he is a Heavy weight. He just needs to change his game plan. No matter what it will be a great fight. I do agree that no one else has a chance against Les in the ufc. I can’t wait to see Jones fight someone good he looks good his only loss was a dq and he was hammering that fool.

Carwin is not 155 sure his cardio could probably be a little better but that was not the problem. He gassed but only because he cracked Lesnar and tried to finish him. All he had to do was stand it back up if he did he wins that fight. Any heavyweight would have gassed doing what he did. His cardio is going to be weak he weighs 260+ and dude is not fat. So he could lose some muscle and power to get better cardio but why he knows what he has to do next time. Sloryder is right I would like to see anyone carry that kind of weight around and go all out for 5 minutes and not gas. Lesnar will lose next time can’t wait to see the rematch and that was definitely one of the best cards UFC in a long time.

I just sold the shee to my buddy for a build sorry guys. I still have a few things a titled frame that needs some help cheap $150.00 or a untitled one in better shape, steering stem $10.00, gas tank 25.00 and stock front shocks 20.00.
