Just a basic Guesstimate Frame 2500-3500 Suspension/components 3000- or a lot more Donor Banshee 1500 (motor, plastics, misc) Motor 2500- the limit of your plastic I think a decent completely fresh build could be done for 8-12k. Of course that would be money saving mode though cause you could just as easily spend 20-30k on one.

Just a GUESS but I would imagine if there is enough of us (5-10?) willing to spend 2500-3500ish on a frame. We could get them to build a YFZ or TRX based frame. Really it needs to be done with the idea of newer components. If not replacement parts will be hard/costly to get and our hands are tied up with LSR only suspension parts.

I called LSR today... Anyone here still interested in a outlaw frame? Bobby said he can most likely make it happen if I can round up a small group. I have two buddies who are both thinking on it. He did say it would be a 250r based frame still . He did tell me he would get back to me with a complete package deal price based on 3-4 frames with suspension components. I think if enough people were in on this we could talk LSR into something that would fit newer components. I would haul my outlaw to them and go through things I would want improved upon...Pipe fitment, airbox/filter fitment and suspender parts. I am about a month out on this. I had a bad business fire and am working hard on getting all of that glory back together. Let me know.... Fire and gym equipment not a great combo.

Are A Arms really that much stronger than J Arms?
billybobby replied to Tyler S's topic in General Banshee Discussion
JB weld was a joke. Yeah nobody do that! When I break stuff I upgrade... My wife hates it! I haven't had a J arm banshee for around 6yrs. Tyler S just watch the arms, they can crack and bend when beat on. Honestly though they should be fine though. -

Both of mine bent right by the ball joint. Really though both of those wrecks did damage to other areas as well... Just reinforce both j arms before you go huge with jb weld! -

Har!! I've broken two! Could only find pics of one (long time ago). I would agree for the most part.... If you don't plan on hitting big jumps you should be ok. This one was a 5th gear step up gone long... not a great feeling flat landing front end first at 100'plus distance! The other one a rock jumped up and bit me in 4th gear. Cartwheeling a banshee never ends well. They are weaker then a arms I've never busted an A arm. -
Just missed you... we were there the 19th-22nd. Have a big crew of Southern Utards heading to St. Anthony May 21st-25th.

Running 32to1... Man it sucks that you have had such a rough time with the carbs. Makes no sense to me, my Shee runs so good. I rode Glamis 2 weeks ago. This week started at 2000ft,75degrees,climbed to 8000ft and damn colder! The Shee never missed a beat... ran like a damn beast! No adjustments at all.

I had a Dyna take a dump to... No fire at low Rpm left cylinder. Checked everything but the dyna first thinking it was not the issue. Stock cdi fixed it.

If this happens. It's going to stay with the outlaw geometry but use 450 suspension and components. The sad deal, Bobby didn't offer much promise on it. He said designing a new frame for a banshee is not high on the list. At this point with how busy they are he said even the original outlaw is not happening. He said in May they "might" be up for it. I'm guessing if there is a solid number of people having cash ready for a mx frame, suspension and components..... it could happen.

How many people would be in for a yfz based frame on here? I have 3 in for frames if we can get them done.

I would think k&n could make filters that fit. I will do some leg work and see... The filter setup and access to suspension. Parts are the only real issues with these.
