Im sorry to hear. I know how it is too man. I lost the best Dog ever a little over a year ago and I know he can never be replaced but he still lives on in my/our hearts and minds and that will never be lost.
-
Good shit man. I think its amazing what LB and Kevin and all of the other partys involved in this project did. The bike looks plain sick and I bet it runs even better.
-
I think you should be fine with the 280s you have in there now. When you install the VF3s it might fatten you up a bit through midrange if anything.
BTW- are you from Pittsburgh? I live rite in the Lawrenceville/Bloomfield area on main Street.
-
no it wont work on a banshee its for mini bikes as listed. I could tell from the first glance it wont let enough fuel through the tube to feed the beast.
-
Im a 300 pound fuckin ninja by night and a carpenter/heavy machinest operator by day
-
How much you ask. TOO DAMN MUCH. Look at my sig and start adding over 3k in suspension and a arms alone
-
fuck full flight
Very informitive post :ermm:
If you ride any tight trails at all I would go +2 thats what I have and there plenty wide. I have the Lonestar Racing +2+1 a arms and I love them. They are strong as hell. first things first you want to look and make sure the a arms you are buying are made of 4130 Chromoly. They are the strongest and best material you want for A Arms. Also caster and camber adjustable arms are nice to have. Just like everyone said look on ebay for x mas deals.

There are tons of builders on this site who will do an awsome port job specifically for your riding and yes they all specalize in Banshee engines. My advise to you is do a search and talk to a bunch of builders and see who makes you feel the most comfterble.
-
first handeling mods suspension, a arms, steering stem antivibe with a steering stabilizer then worry about go fast mods. PT Mids are a good woods pipe, 4mil stroker with a lowend/midrange port job.
-
Deal of a lifetime. Now get +2+1 a arms and get it properly valved if you feel you need to.

I heard nightmare storyes about them air shocks and an XC race. They just arent as durable as a shock with a spring.
-
I have the Elka elite shock and dual linkage and it rocks. It gives you more travel plus if setup correctly youll never bottom out.
-
umm if its in good shape thats not that bad.. WOW 250 for a carb cleaning(or rebuild, more than likely just cleaned) a set of plugs and air box?? could have got you by for about 75 bucks at the most to do that honestly..
Thats why you have to learn to use good tools and doing the work yourself
-
If its running well after the 250 you spent I think you got a good deal.
-
I have the Elka Elite series front and back with the pro dual linkage and I couldnt dream of a better shock setup out there. Im sure Axis would have worked well as wll as PEP if I had gotten the 3 adjestments on them HI/LOW Comp and rebound. But I still cant see how they would work better but I do ride on Elkas and have never seen or rode another Banshee with any good setup like the ones I have so I do have a biast.
to me it goes
Elka
Axis
PEP
TCS
works
Ive heard alot of positive feedback on Motowoz shocks too.

mod the air box and dump the tors if not already done. after the cool head and timing I would say suspension. +2 a arms with better shocks revalve, respring or replace the rear shock. suspension is an after thought for a lot of people. good suspension and steering stabalizer will benefit a woods/cross country rider a lot.
Exactly. Save up some cabbage and get good chromoly adjustable wider and 1" more forward then get better suspension all around. That will take more seconds off of your lap times in the woods than bolt ons for now. Then go for the Noss Head, billit timing plate, vf3s and a better carb setup.
If you want to get an agressive port job down the road your gonna have to ditch them TR6s and go with a better suited woods pipe like Pro Circuts, PT Mids, DMC Aliens, or CPIs

damn there some outrite low low prices there. Damn! and I dont know why you think Lonestar parts are "garbage" LSR parts have proven themselves time and time again for many many years.

I hear ya brother Im in chronic pain everyday of my life and our backs sounds like they have the same ailments but I have 2 herniated discs too. I rely on oxycodone for when Im riding and it helps you forget about the pain some but it doubles the next day and Im the type of person to only take pain meds when I seriously need them. If you take them everyday they stop working and you will have addiction problems so I steer away from both of these.
Good luck buddie and the best thing for pain is laying down and relaxing.

Noss Head is the only way to go. Plus Dave Noss will answer any question as stupid as they might be. You just cant beat it and the customer service is top Notch!

Yeah that Banshee looks pretty nice for 2gs. Less if you have cash thats always a good way to deal with buying bikes.
What type of riding will you be doing? Do you plan on moding it out more?
Dont bite on the first bike you see get info on every Banshee thats around you and check them all out in one day so the nicest one doesnt get snagged.
110 psi in each cyl means the bike has been run but thats rite around what your looking for out of a stock motor 110-120psi is usualy where its at.

dude.... A full tank lasts me about 2 1/2 - 3 1/4 Hours in trails..... Its horrible, I hit up reserve EVERY time I'm out. I def need the bigger tank but they are hideous imo.
Maybe I'll just not ride as hard.......... N E V E R !!!! lol
Oh comeon now they dont look that bad and to hell with going all the way out worrying about if you have enough gas out in the long stretch and having to push it back. That thought alone has me scared alot of times. I had this dude at the bike shop I go to offer me a complete 5.5 gallon tank for 75 bucks and I havent seen him since I hope I see him or get an idea where and what he rides cause Ill snatch that up faster than a pussy gets fuucked.
-
Banshees are definatly not the best gas savers thats for damn sure. But if you do find yourself hitting reserve just about everytime your out a new 5 gallon gas tank is a good Idea. I know I need one for sure but Im a little strapped for cash rite now.

Thanks man,I already have these on order.I got a total of 30% off with coupon.I hope they work as expected.I only ride in the dunes so if they work well,no need for any additional adjustment. They will be set up for my weight,+2 arms and for sand.If I dont like them I suppose they can be altered.
Im sure you will love them how they come to you. You wont notice adjustments if you dident get any but if you do want a little adjustment out of them they can be sent back for them but you would really notice change in terrain vs comp adjs going from woods to dunes I dont think you will be missing out on anything. Most people get more than what they need especally if they arent racing.
man you just got the best upgrade a Banshee can get good luck and good riding!

Just curious, how much is it to ship a set of jugs back and forth? What about a whole motor?
