  1. Ok so I guess the Yamalube 10w30 will work. I do remember running 10w50 in my 250R diffrent bike diffrent oil but never would I dream of changing it every three rides that to me is insanity. I Can see changing it once a month or two but 3 rides guys doesent that along with your gas and premix get expensive?

  2. :headbang::headbang: Whats up all Ive been up my place for a week and change now and Im going up for another week to do finish framing and siding(If any of you have any framing or new construction questions feel free to ask. Im lost on the Banshee though). I went to my local bike shop to get transmision fluid and the guy gave me Yamalube 4 stroke motor oil 30 Weight. I dident put it in I thought that was off. Any suguestions?

Also refering to my last topic about me racing the cr125 racer with FMF pipes and other light mods that I can see against my new 03 SHEE with Toomey T6s Toomey Air filter 22 Mudsharks on the back mabey more I dont know and the huge weight diffrence between myself 300lbs and my buddie 150lbs I am proud to say I pulled Hard on him as soon as I hit second and by the time I was in sixth it was all road and a speck of red way back in the distance. After all that shit he talked about him whooping my ass and I dident doubt him I put that honda to shame. Afterwards I let him ride the SHEE and as soon as he got back his first words were "dude Im gettin a Banshee"

  3. the easiest solution is just screw the limiter on the tumb throthle to the end and nothing should happen they probably wont notice

Yeah this is true. Espicaly my one budie never rode any ATV ever and he is really looking foward to taking the SHEE out. He does have a 81 Camero with 600HP that he would never let anyone drive but he is comming up my camp to help me build 2 walls and a bulkhead and some other shit hes gave me alot of help tearing down and rebuilding anyway so your damned if you do damned if ya dont

  4. Yeah man a port job is definatly key. (I had my LT250R ported and polished) in my situation and mabey a milled head figuring my pockets do have an end a very short end at the moment. As for the T6s I like them now but I guess I will have to get rid of them once I get a port job so I figure Ill sell them on ebay to recoup. I also forgot to mention not only is there the huge weight diffrence I have 22in 6 ply mud sharks on the rear They came with the quad. So untill I get all of this done I will just have to face a Honda 125 beating my SHEE :baseball_wibble: . The only real thing Ive got going for me is 10+ yearsriding expirence on my buddie.

  5. What do you guys do about rust on your bikes? Cleaning solution, wirebrush, and what kind of paint do you use once your finished striping the rust? I have some rust on the swingarm and the A Arms. I also have some surface rust on my chrome T6s what do you all recomend?

  6. Ouch man that does indeed blow. Im going to be facing the same delima this weekend where as 2 of my buddies will be comming up to ride my new SHEE. I do however have 1 simple rule if you break it you buy it I dont want to be a dick about it but we all know how expensive these parts are and if im not on it and something breaks then why should I have to replace it.

  7. Hey all first I just want to say this site kick all kinds of ass and is schooling all of us newbs and pros on the sweetest bike in the damn world. Ok I just bought a 2003 Banshee with T6 pipes Toomey air filter(stock box setup) not sure of anyother mods and my buddie bought a used cr125 with an FMF pipe. I weigh like 300lbs solidd(some not so solid) and hes around half that what chance do you all think I stand in a 1/4 mile drag. No big deal if I lose I plan to open this motor up in the next year or so anyway.

Also I have been riding this bike pretty hard for the past few weeks. I have been playing with the clutch alot reving it and poping the clutch so it hits the powerband rite away in between gears also. I was wondering if this is a bad Idea? I also rev the bike alot espicaly when Im going slower on the trails so not to foul plugs is this a good idea?

any feedback would be much appricated.
