  1. I got the one from Jeff and havent been able to get to my bike to try it out yet. I have an idea on how to use it but Ive never used or even seen one before and some tips and instructions other than the ones that came in the box would be appricated. Oh in the instructions it says something about the throttle plate I figure they are talking about the slides?

  2. Never heard of Caliban, but going to see alll that remains Feb.3......Anyone seen Lamb Of God?

Demon Hunter is a pretty good band too!

LOG is sick live. When they do the wall of death and the pit erupts you better be ready to give everything you got or your getting broke. Its not the most intence pit Ive ever been in but it was pretty damn crazy and more than half of the crowd were in it!

  3. Get the T-5's, you could probably run T-6's with your mods but if you kept going you wouldn't get as much of a benefit from your future mods. The T-5's are supposed to be the best all around, but any Toomey's you choose will be great as far as fit/finish/quality. Really can't go wrong with Toomey IMO.

Rite, The TR6s with your mods would probably be your best choice unless you ride WOT more than anything else. I think The TR6s have a better overall powerband but the T5s do have more on top. If you are going to get a very mild port the TR6s should work fine but if you plan on porting it anymore than very slightly the TR6s donot respond well to porting while the T5s love porting from mild to wild.

  4. I did it, asked seller many question, everythings seems good, just the price slow me down. I might drop that much money on a brand new set maybe.

What kind of suspention do you plan on getting with your new A-Arms?

  5. 15361  :whistling:

Sweet! The member that get the 500,000th post will go down in BHQ history. I hope its a brand new Thread started stating something like World Record Set With Yamaha Banshee :yelrotflmao:

There should be a Chapter Rideout in honor of the big mark.

Everyone on the BHQ from their Chapters should all plan a weekend ridefest together for the best damn site on the net!

Im down to go to Raush Creek with my fellow PA Chapter HQers for this special event!

  6. 2 intakes no cracks and 1 reed block 20$

Were the intakes modified at all or did they have the stock reeds in them? Are the two rubber tips still intact on each manifold with absolutly no cracks/chipping or peeling? Same with the rest of the intake body/ any cracks, splits, chipping? Are the O Rings still in the manifolds?

Ill give you the 20 shipped through Paypal to 15201 as soon as you respond if everything checks out.

  7. He dont know that I already have on the way my 4mm stroker and my 33pwks.Im going to be getting a port that he says it will be perfect to match my setup. This guy really knows his stuff so I trust him.He says its like a dune port.I will not be ridding this bike in trails for long because im getting my 4x4 in a little bit. Then when im done we will race for 5 bills. His bike Is not as fast as he says.I rode it today. He upgraded to a 16 tooth and a 40 in the rear.Im going to stay with my 16/41.Im hoping to use the money that I will hopefully get to buy my fullbores.I dont even know if he knows what a 4mm stroker is.

Oh yeah man a 4mil dune port with 33s and CPIs will slay in a drag. I like the idea of the 33pwks cause you will still have some bottom end to toy around with while ripping insanly hard mid/top. Youll definatly have a jet. Are you getting your 4x4 back from that douchebag and keeping your Banshee? That would be the ticket

  8. DOWN is def. a band i want to go see. just the name brings back fond memories of that "stone the crow" era.

Hell Yeah def sounds cool. Kind of Pantera meets early KoRn meets Fear Factory.

DOWN are an awsome live band. They always (even Phil) do meet and greets after the show. I hung out with Pepper Keanen (Corrosion Of Conformity) for a few hours at a local bar after the show. Very cool down to earth guy who walked into the bar and did more meet and greets with the oppisite sex in the mens bathroom stall. The storyes from that night, man. NOLA is one of my favorite albums and Stone the Crow is definatly one of my all time favorite songs. Everytime I seen DOWN play it was just them. An Evning with DOWN. No opener just a pull down screen with all sorts of music vids Sabbath,Slayer,Crowbar,Iron Maiden ect and alot of footage of DOWN doing antics like those in the Pantera home Videos. It was suposto be a teaser for the DOWN home video but it never seen the light of day. Mabey for DOWN III.

Did you ever hear the acoustic version of Stone the Crow. Very cool stuff.

  9. I like the vocals alot! Im glad it wasent Pat Lachman. I wasent a huge fan of Damageplan. The only reason they sounded alrite was cause of Dimebag and Vinnie. Im really suprised by this band. Vinnie Paul is kicking ass and taking names! Everything sounds tight.

If any of you like Hatebreed check out Kingdom of Sorrow. Its Jamey Jasta (Lead singer of Hatebreed) and Kirk Windstein (Lead singer/Guitarist of Crowbar and Lead guitarist in DOWN) It sounds very similar to Hatebreed with Crowbar breakdowns.

  10. No way. This is AWSOME!!!! I cant believe I dident know Vinnie Paul was in a band again. Thats GREAT. Im seriously excited. I havent heard any new metal albums I have liked in a long ass time besides Kingdom Of Sorrow. Who else is in HELLYEAH?

    HELL YEAH!!!!!! :notworthy:

I also cannot wait for the new DOWN album. DOWN III. Ive went to so many states and have seen DOWN so many times. They are one of the greatest bands ever!!!

  11. I have a stock for now motor with TR6 pipes, Noss Head (Anodized Blue) with 20cc domes, Holeshot XCRs up front, 22in Mudshark 4ply rears, jetted 280 mains, 25 piolets, neddel jet in the middle, at about 1500-1900 feet above sea level and it ran great all summer long. I was smoking 450s and 440exs in drags and they were getting me in trails so Im currently working on that. I installed some V3s and havent been able to test them out yet I have a -to+10 timing pate Im going to set at +4 and all kinds of other goodies not installed yet. Mod quad water pump impeller billit case saver and a bunch of other stuff like that.

My current project is suspention/A Arms. I ordered the black LSR Race A-Arms (Might have to change that to LT Arms) Ive decided on Elka Elites all around with the new rear linkage but I havent decided yet if Im gonna go LT on the front!

Spring/summer time will be probably a Scotts steering stabilizer that adjusts on the fly, Beadlocks with Razr 2s all around mabey some Flexxx bars, new Clutch perch and break lever, Billit shiny water pump cover and clutch cover. Paint if I have enough money powder coat the frame. The Powdercoat will fall in somewhere money depending but Im definatly gonna paint her.

Fall- new stator cover, Oversized radiator, IMS Foot pegs and mabey a durablue axle

Next winter will be a 4mil agressive woods ported motor, PT Mids, Nology coil, Modded shift star,Tough ass clutch setup, Mabey a new roundhouse carrier/stock swingarm.

Future Powder coat everything and new plastics.

Thats my plans:) It all will take well over a year considering nothing goes wrong so I will probably end up switch the order in witch I listed my mods, But it will be done in time. Its Reliability/handeling/Reliability/Power/Reliability/Looks in that exact order. That I can say is a for sure thing

  12. Man I would not go up against a ported Banshee with pipes with my Banshee and all of the major bolt ons for 500 bones. You never know what type of port he has. It doesnt matter who did it. He could of got ported by a no name person in his garage and still riiiiiip. You might beat him you never know but I would steer clear untill I got mine ported with bigger carbs for a drag for 500 dollars. Just race him for fun and shut his hole.

  13. There was a seller at Ebay, Saying that the Stock length break linkes fit +2 a-arms, but I think he is wrong.

No you need the extended break lines. If you do by some chance get the stock lines to fit you will be streching them to death and thats not good at all.

  14. You should be alrite as long as they arent bent in any way. Tie rod ball joints ect. LSR are strong Arms. You might have to replace all of the bushings(I think there are 16 bushings) unless stated otherwise. That will run you anywhere from 85-100 and depending on how much you ride you will have to replace them once or twice a year. Thats the only problem with Lonestar. They nickle and dime you on the bushings but they are the best +2+1 A-Arms for the Banshee IMO.

  15. Jezze, damn good answer csrmel. Im going to stick some bigger jets in and keep my neddel jet in the middle. I know I will be rich but I want to know how rich I will be with the cold factor thats going on here. Then I will dial it in tits on. I dont agree with the running rich so your sure your getting enough lubrication either. If you fine tune your jetting there should be no reason to run rich and lose out on power. Plus if you fine tune your jetting for weather you will know what jets you need everytime the weather changes. I always go rich when I change something then I work my way to dead on.

  16. Some guys at the local shop I go to just got there Hypers last nite when I was getting a part. Pretty sweet but $800 for the whole set. I thought that was nuts, never guessed they were that expensive.

Sounds like your going to have a pretty sweet setup when your done. Isn't it funny how "there only a little more" turns into hundreds of dollars, lol. My buddies friend has a shee with a 4mil cheetah and Axis all the way around, pretty sweet setup but my pockets aint that deep

Oh I hear that man. Ide love to but I cant afford beadlocks all around. Them Hipers are sweet though. If they are as strong as the Douglas I might shell out the extra 50 or so for them. Front wheels are just gonna be factory untill I can afford otherwise. My pockets arent deep at all either. Only reason Im going to have such a nice setup is I saved for months, dident go out, cut back on many luxury items, just so I could get these shocks. Witch is why I am looking at the Axis. I figure I can save up for a few more months for them extra "hundreds" of dollars but if that extra 500 or so turns into a thousand forget about it. Elka Elites are damn good shocks. I just have to do alot more research and you cant talk to companys cause obviously their stuff is always 10xs better, same with riders. Noone wants to admit their setup is inferior to someone elses. Field testing is always nice but not alot of people want you testing their $$$$ setup and who valved them plays a big role in it. My guy has Custom Axis on his but he has a 416ex and that is very hard to tell if I will like them better than Elkas on my Banshee. He went from Elkas to Axis but he dident have the Elites and he said they (Elites) are damn good shocks. He knows my budget so I will leave it up to him and his expirence with all of the diffrent setups compared to my limeted expirence compared to his. I know either way I will have an awsome setup for whatever style of riding I do (Thats why I want all of the adjustments) and I will definatly post pics and action vids of it when its done. Then next winters project will be the 4mil agressive woods setup so I can benifit from every inch and adjustment of the suspention I choose.

    Stay Tuned!

  17. Which ones did you get? I got chromed rec ones with chromed tie rods. I only ride in the dunes so wasn't concerned about the skid on the bottom a-arm.

$65 isn't bad, my buddy got a set of streamlines for $40 brand new last year on ebay so I was looking for something like that but it ain't looking good.

I got the Racing A-Arms in Black from Buchanan Racing and I called him the next day and he said hes ordering a bunch of stuff from Lonestar including my A-Arms so I told him to get me the steel braided breaklines too. Im not sure who he goes through to get them it might be Lonestar. He knows I want only the best so Im sure they are a good brand. He just said around 65 bucks. 40 Bucks is sweet. I probably should of weighed my options more but my mechanic knows my budget so I know he will hook me up. I also got a super good deal on Elka Elites but money depending I might go with Coustom Axis. I know they are a few hundred dollars more but if that few hundred turns into 800 or more all around Im just gonna get the Elites and make sure I get one of Elkas best to valve them for me. I need new tires and wheels too Im looking at the douglas .190 beadlock rears and Im definatly getting Razr 2s all around.

  18. the ebay elka guy already has the shock and linkage for sale: click

Damn, I wish I had the money.

Does Custom Axis have rear linkage for their rear like Elka? because before I finalize my purchase I want to look at Axis again. Also could you get the Custom Axis fronts and the Elka Elite rear w/ linkage? How do you think that would work?
