  1. +8, also can be compensated some with how many paddles you run.
  2. It's putting down the same power as a ported 4mil setup yes. But straight bolt-on. I'd say the costs are at least even, if not leaning toward the serval after you weigh in porting and all.
  3. I dono what they got. Most likely in one of the middle rows towards the back.
  4. Looks like our group will be there. I'm the only one taking a banshee though. Just put the duneable override in it and haven't decided if I want to actually TRY to dune it or not. We'll be up in the big LSPS spots look for a big white duramax.
  5. That's fairly low compression. And cubs love fuel so it could be not getting enough gas. Really hard to tell.
  6. Do you have a pingle on the gas tank? How long are you on the throttle going up the dunes? Seems early to be running the bowls dry in 3rd gear.
  7. What do you mean by didn't fall off? If they were drag racing it was at WOT the whole time. I didn't think he designed these to compete with shearers, but to have a good broad power range.
  8. What kinda riding do you do, and what is your budget?
  9. Hm my source said otherwise, but of course I can't find it now Anyways it's annoying as fuck listening to people bitch about OK beer. Just quit bein' a pussy and drink more or take a shot of liquor before you start drinking. That'll make up for any tiny differences.
  10. Just to clear up this retarded myth, your almighty 6.0 beer is really just 3.6 alcohol by weight, compared to 3.2 for the OK beer. So whenever you're getting 100 times more smashed, it's all in your head Continue
  11. No experience with the Vortex, but have a buddy running a Magnum with no issues. I believe it came with new cusions and screws too to slap the gear on it.
  12. With the +2 swinger I'd say just some 8 paddle haulers. Mess around with the air pressure till you get it to hook like you want but still be good for duning.
  13. Yeah take the clutch cover off. Sounds like the shifter may have come off the shift star. Or something broke off in there.
  14. Take the clutch cover off and see if anything is up in there. Is it making the clicking noise like it sounds like it's shifting through gears?
  15. Just go slow as you're doing the teardown. Remember where everything goes, put all the bolts in baggies and label them. Get a Clymers manual to help you. And a bigbore kit really isn't necessary if you're just doing a rebuild. What are you going to be doing with the bike?
  16. True, I never really noticed much of a difference between the 2 Mother's, besides the price tag.
  17. I use the Mother's stuff, and Never-dull. Never-dull works awesome on pipes with burnt on oil and crap, and I'll rub some of the Mother's on to let it pre-soak. I really don't think the polish is as important as puttin' in the elbow grease and getting a good buff on them at the end.
  18. Nevermind that's sandfest. We might be there.
  19. Isn't that the weekend of the HQ ride?
  20. So that 2-3 HP on the butt dyno isn't worth it? Or couldn't be felt? There's been so many #'s and so much horse crap thrown around in this I hope no one actually tries to get anything from it.
  21. I'd suggest going a little north and west of the front drag strip. There's a flat section in there right next to the trails that would be perfect for 4-5 bikes to race, it's flat and goes plenty of distance. Be nice for the bigger bikes that won't enjoy the whoops
  22. It's really not too far of a ride to the strip either. But I guess all you drag bikes and your tiny tanks
