I've kinda wondered if this hp/tq range is getting into the lockup range.
But I am one of the few that has had a bike with a lockup and 85+ hp and it shift fine without an override. No it wasn't perfect for drag racing but was very rideable.
It was in 2 of the vids in teh images section. It's the red one, in front of the other bikes. And yes I know there was 2, it beat the slow one and hung with the other on some runs.
If we're going off who "built their own bike" M&M, FAST, Cam, and Dana have the only room to talk seeing as they're the only ones that did porting, no? Any idiot can put a bike together. Now tightening the chain on the other hand can get difficult
We've slowly heated plastics up with a small torch and it'll help take out stress marks that look hazy. Possibly try on this. But you can always polish it too.
ATF is not going cheap. It's what people run in cars that run for 50k+ miles. If you have shifting problems with ATF chances are it isn't the oil's fault.
Cleaning up the casting flaws and porting are a bit different. All the cubs come "cleaned up" usually, but can be ported further to get a little more out of them.
Well if that all seems overwhelming you can cut off the porting because Cub's don't really need porting to run awesome. And you can run one on pump gas so race fuel or alcohol isn't necessary.
It went pretty steady from 2pm till dark during Sandfest. Just depends who's racing though and how many bikes are out there. It's always fun to take the 421 out there to the nerf bar drags and whoop everyone then they stop racing
Geee do you think you're a little impartial?
And you're wrong on the LED light bar. You could run that alone and light up the next hill with ease. I just saw about 100 of 'em at LS and they are bright as hell.
Anyone planning on bringing anything to drag the strip with? There's at least 3 places we can use to drag, but if it's not windy they get rutted up pretty quick.
