Yeh, I havnt really investigated the aftermarket support yet. But from it already has it might give my shee a run for its money. Depending on how good the port job is.

Seen that a few weeks ago and after doing some research and talking the guy I am thinking of trading my wifes 400ex for it, With some cash from him. I think that would be a fun play bike and would probably be an all around better duner than the 400ex. The motor is also powervalved, might be a fun project to build up.

But in all serious, I have all the stuff besides a port that these guys are talking about and I am still about neck and neck with piped YFZ's, But I weigh 250 if I was 160ish I would be walking them.
Me and Wife will be there, Cause we live in coos bay I think she has the 4th through the 9th off so we are probably gonna ride almost all weekend even thinking of camping a few nights out there. It wears on you loading and unloading everyday for 5 days straight.

I think michigan is a good place to be, I hear there is alot of reputable builders there but I cant think of any off the top of my head I am sure someone else will chime in.
I am sea level and I was at 135 pre shaved head, Took .40 off and now at 170. IMO you should be fine with reg gas takin just .20 off. I run 4 To 1 Race gas and premium.
I seen a guy in the dunes last night with pod filters and he wasnt running an outter wear on them. I mentioned something to him and he said it was fine and it wont hurt a thing. From what I have heard and seen thats not the case am I right here?
I think he was more or less saying the 358 has bad lowend, And if your 421 spanks 535's then its more than reasonable to assume a 358 can beat a 421. But like you and he both said, setup is key.
Yeh who knows whats going to happen at this point, If I was rich I would love a 4mill cub, since I'm not, I could end up with just ported stock cyl's. What I do know is, I need more power one way or the other.
No its not T&W right now but it will be in the next few weeks cause I am currently at 170psi and would like the peace of mind. I will wait to buy the cylinders till after summer, meanwhile I will start to collect the pieces and if the money is right I might go 4mill with a cub setup. It really depends on how much I can talk the boss (wife) into letting me have. I am about to trade my fatties for T6's and then I will probably sell those and buy some Shearer's
