  1. I am thinking of buying a drag bike when I sell my bike, its a 7mill K&T Drag ported stock cylinder, 18cc domes, 38mm carbs, shearer BB OOF's, lock-up on 110. The guy said it pulls 95-100 HP. Sounds abit high to me being on gas? I know K&T builds a mean motor how close to true do you think that is?

  3. While I agree with you that no one knows how much faster the 700 is gonna be, its like 26 more CC and EFI, Dont know how big of difference that will make. We have 2 built long travel rhinos in our group, and they get half hilled by stock rzr's. If its speed and performance your looking for I think the rzr cant be touched. But for overall quality and reliability go yamaha! Right now I am in the process of selling my banshee's to buy a long travel RZR so maybe I am abit biased.
  4. If the 660 was to slow dont bother with a 700, its not much faster, Get the RZR the only thing that sucks about them is there made by polaris. But overall a much more kickass ride.
  5. If your comp is at 150 I think your fine, I run 170 and +4 timing, I normally run a 50/50 race gas mix but have run straight 92 when I was broke. Didnt detonate at all.
  6. Dont waste your time with a spacer plate do it right the first time and save yourself the headache, and like loco said 7 or 10, the crank cost the same.
  7. Nope no carbs, there kit comes with : welding of cases, DM top end with head, billet crank, trench cases for stroke, labor, billet clutch basket, straight cut gears, hd clutch, lockup clutch, quickchange cover polished, pancake clutch bearing, vforce reeds, intake manifolds, gaskets, and seals
  8. Yeh the DM is spendy, I think white knuckle has a kit for them with a lock up and everything you need including the case modding for 5k. But damn would I like to ride one.

I seen his youtube with his bike idling or whatever, Thats hardly the point, its not hard to fire a banshee up with a turbo on it, Lets see that thing run and see some slips then it will impress me. Like many people have said a turbo banshee is nothing new its been done and they have ran hard but a good majority of people got to the part he is at and said fuck it.
  10. I might of went abit far with the basic banshee, what I meant was ported motor and some other goodies.
  11. I think the main thing you missed rippen, Is BALLS, you gotta have a set for some of these holes. I have been down in some nasty shit, And my bike has climbed out of it all except for 1 time needed a slight tug with a rhino. other than that, hammer down and hold on and you can make it out of most anything with your basic banshee.

  15. Sounds like your tester is broken, At sea level you should be closer to 170 with 19cc domes
  16. I remember when the 400ex was released and it was suppose to the cats meow of sport atv's and while they do have there place, I wouldnt say there sporty at all.
