Sand Sharks on a 485 and a 688? I would go with a 10 paddle Hauler Rear, And up front is really your preferance, I use Sand Tires Unlimited Razor Backs, and Love them.

Dont forget to order a new air filter, If your just gonna run dunes, I would suggest A twin K&N Pod Filter set up with no air box.

Thats what happened to my old banshee, It was the nastiest grinding noise. I hope it ruined my carrier so the bastard who stole my bike that night had to pay to fix it.

I am glad that he advertised those reeds, He saved me abunch of money, And he took about 10-15 minutes to talk to me about my bike and future mods I was going to do. I even told him that when I go to get it ported I was taking it somewhere else (Because the builder is local and I would like to be within arms reach of someone with my motor) And he agreed with me. Didnt try to talk me out of it at all. So in my opinion he is a great guy to deal with and will being getting alot of repeat business from me and I will definently recommend him to anyone of my friends.

My first banshee was a 94, I was just a kid at the time, so I left it all stock and since I didnt know anything about maintenance, I think I changed the tranny fluid one time maybe. And besides that I just let it rip. It lasted until 01 when the bearings in the axle finally spun out and it stolen that night. But I never blew it up or anything and I hate to admit it, But I abused and didnt take care of it at all.

While Gecko's are possibly the worst sand paddle known to man, They would definently be a huge gain over stock.

Well, I am ordering a Cool Head and some v-Force reeds in a few days and I want to try and break myself of the habit of Paying people who know what there doing to put my stuff on. I am pretty decent with working on my jeep and stuff, but never worked on an atv before. Just wondering how hard it is to install a cool head and reeds and if I need to buy other stuff that doesnt come with them to install it.

You only run 1 gallon of race gas to 4 gallons of 93 with 20cc domes? I run straight 93 right now stock, A buddy of mine has 19's with no other motor mods and runs straight race gas.

I'll be calling you in the next few days to order my new cool head Think I am gonna go with 20cc domes, I wont be advancing the timing for awhile so hopefully 20cc will be fine for 50/50

Was wondering what size domes I would want to run with a coolhead on a banshee at sea level and also have +4 timing and still be good with 50/50 race/pump gas mix? I tried to search it out but it was kinda hard to sift through

Yeh thats basically what i'm doing, Gonna give it abit more go, then work on the show aspect of it. I am gonna try and balance it for dragging and also ride ability. I love dragging on the big weekends here but I also love making 5-10 mile duning runs.

Well My birthday and christmas are next month so, I am getting a Cool head, V-3 Reeds and a +4 timing plate on top of my already Piped and Filtered banshee. My question now is. what next? Am I ready to dune port and toss in some new pistons? Was also thinking about lightening the fly wheel. Was also thinking some new carbs maybe?

I am not big into jumping or anything, mostly, I do riding on the open dunes and doing Hole Shot hill cilmbs when I am not dragging. Just seemed like a +4 in perfect condition for only $100 was a great deal

I recently got an offer about picking up a +4 Chrome Swingarm for only $100. I dont drag as much as I just ride around the dunes so how much difference is +4 Gonna make to my turning ability?

Well I am gonna put my bike away for the winter and i was wondering, whats the easiest way to drain the gas tank, I dont want the fuel just sitting in it for 8 months. also my bike is gonna be stored in a dry and heated basement, any special measures I should take to ensure iti doesnt rust or anything like that.
