  4. what day was that :biggrin: no temps were 90 ish... we all did chops at big scrub back in oct. nov. ?
  5. did that last plug chop :thumbsup: my clip is all the way up so I run A little cooler putting w/ my daughter but that shouldn't effect plug chop I couldn't remember what was in there so I got 'em apart now was supprised to see 350 :shrug:
  6. what do you guys do, I've done it both ways ( on other things)put piston in cyl. b4 the rod, or cyl. last
  7. keep rags in your bottom end until last min. so nothing falls in... saves alot of grief :thumbsup:
  8. my mains say 350, my mods are in my sig... my plug chop said dead on ...350 seams high doesn't it...i'm @ sea level & here is A pic of my current lid w/ K&N & outerwares going to K&N 6" clamp on's Thanks Dave
  9. tap on the screw w/ A punch in the dead center to jar it ...also take out all the other bolts & try to spin the whole thing A little to break it free, that way it will losten up A little & won't strip more
  10. plate sold & shipped fast shipping & packaged good (new flywheel box came in handy), good communicator as well.
  11. Dave will cpi's have any benefit on A stock motor (or 1 w/ his mod's) than say fmf's ect.
  12. not sure about air strykers , but on most carbs either that or trash in the needle& seat area (to the float) only takes A little piece to unseat it
  13. wanta finnish mine :woot: I got everything to look like chrome except the cyl's, I'm about to give up on that
  14. unless you have ALOT of time pay someone ...the prices I've seen are worth it, if you wan't it like chrome... if you want it just to shine the big stuff; w/ polishing wheel on A bench grinder w/ aluninium rouge... I got mine @ sears pretty cheep ...small tight spots what ever you can find in different grits
