  1. It was, before the worst banshee scammer in history... bought it . Only buy oe for electrical. you can prob. get away with an aftermarket coil and stb does make good harness' but... oe new or used for everything else.
  2. If it runs better with choke youre not getting enough fuel. Good start with carb cleaning. Just make sure you put slides/ bowls in/on correctly . dont forget cross over tube. unfortunately, You made it worse by buying from vitos. Hopefully you get it running good before all your vitos parts fail.

  6. iirc, the key is N/O & grounds to kill. Might wanna ohm coil ground to frame... key on n off & same w/ cdi kill wire. To see what switch is grounding... ill bet ebay sw is N/C & wired in differently than factory, & stb's harness is factory based.
  7. If it has factory adjustment style no. Most are universally honda style eccentric, not bolt/ stud adj.
  8. Did it Work before ? how did you wire in the DC conversion?
  9. Did he run it too? Well that eliminates most every issuse ...except tuning. Like 97 said , he's had issues in the past ( dome/ squish) . Work with him ; & 97 ; hopefully its something easily fixed.

  13. * cylinders widened Just make sure The machine shop is familiar with 2 strokes! Make sure he uses wiseco piston clearance. You don't need to change your jetting for that, but make sure you warm it up with wiseco in there... versus What you did with the stock Pistons. All this, assuming the old pistons look good and you didn't have a jetting issue before. Do a leak down test when you're done! Define more compression
