  1. We were going to use spacers originally. We just bought these cylinders from a prior rebuild we did.
  2. Get your hands on a 06 LT-R450, all around AWESOME quad. Check out LTR450hq.com or if your really set on a YFZ check out YFZcentral.com or YFZTech.com
  3. Why is this Is it because of the port timing?
  4. We already have really good porting on the bike. We took the motor apart last night, the case is split and waiting for a new crank. Should be a fun project Haha..I have the best of both worlds man, LT-R and Banshee.
  5. For an owner who knows how to maintain the bike and know how two strokes work, very reliable. For others who have no clue, not so reliable. All the rebuilds we have done are because of people we let ride our shee with lack of skill in both the care of the machine and how to properly ride it.
  6. My banshee lost a rod bearing in the crank, so we decided to get a stroker crank. We've been wanting to do this for a while. I haven't had the time to ask my pops more info about it, so I was wondering how significant is the power gain from a 4mil stroker? We are currently bored .30 over with wisecos' pistons. Is there a formula to find out the displacement? Any other comments would be appreciated. Thanks Eric
  7. Thank you. Maybe if you hill billy people could read, you would know the LT-R450 was designed for MOTOCROSS racing. 50inch's wide, 18inch rear tires, tight gearing. That was the whole selling point of the quad. Tell me what quad would have IRS for motocross. I worded my sentence wrong on my last post, the outlaw is considered a sport quad but its meant for the trails. Also it wouldn't be silly for them to make one, A 450 with IRS probably would but a 500cc + quad, nope.
  8. lol it must be fast. look at the flames
  9. nah, it was wtf. WTF gives a totally different impression. Its pretty silly to think a sport 450 would have IRS, common sense bud. Anyways sorry to hijack. My opinion for the poster would be to purchase the LT-R, i sat on a KFX for the first time today. Didnt like it. Felt a bit tipsy. Front wheels also seemed very light and it turned very easily. Not my cup of Tea but it seems like an alright bike i guess, for trails and stuff.
  10. Who was being an ass? Fuck off retard, I say three letters and im an ass. You're cool buddy! No one is really arguing, Someone just asked for some advice and people gave it to him. I bet you haven't even ridden either of them. Learn to be more open minded
  11. I just found out today my dads girlfriends neice is having a baby...she is 12 years old.. TWELVE!!! She is an immigrant. Im not dissing them. My parents are 100% Cuban. They came here legally and both speak 120% fluent english. I hate all that shit at fast food places that have words in english and in spanish, might as well add every other language in the book to the menu too. I hate seeing illegals come to this country. They dont embrace it they just exploit it. Something needs to be done
  12. QUOTE(theshee @ Apr 30 2007, 09:33 AM) * The drawback of the LTR for me is the IRS, im not a huge fan of that on a sport quad. UHHH...wtf LT-R does NOT have IRS. LT-R is probably the slower of the 4 when COMPLETELY stock, All you have to do to take it up to and past the other 3 is install a $40 Cherrybomb ( which i have and is easy to install) take off your airbox lid, and remove your sparky. It will rip pretty hard. Also a 13T sprocket in the front I would recommend for duning with tall paddles (ex. my 20/10/10 8 paddle haulers) Right now I have a DASA exhaust it has been dyno proven to put out more ponies on the mid - top range than yoshi and HMF Visit LTR450HQ.COM for ALL the information you will ever need on the LT-R. I Guarantee the LT-R will be the best buy ( have ridden both yfz and trx, have yet to ride kfx) Sure the KFX has an aluminum chassis, but even with that it weighs in to about the same as an LT-R, If you dont want to spend 2k on a new front end the LT-R will do you good, shit i sound like a salesmen. Oh well. The A-Arms are alot thicker than the YFZ, TRX and KFX. The suspension blows them all out of the water aswell. IMO YFZ450's are over priced. the SE edition is like $200 less than the LT-R . You get a better bang for your buck with the suzuki. OK Im done now lol.
  13. LT-R! All the way I have had one since August. I LOVE IT, Mods right now are cherry bomb, DASA exhaust and the airbox lid removed. It pulls really hard. I love it and the stock suspension is great EFI is another plus. Its a fantastic MXer / Duner
