  1. Yep but it is pretty point less to run a cool head with standard domes and a spacer plate. Most of the time people use a spacer plate and a stock head. Cool head domes are just to easy to make compaired to machining a stock head. The one thing you have to remember about the spacer plate is that since it raises the jugs up 2mm it also advancess all the port timings by 2mm's.
  2. 2005 and 2006's were the affected years. Here is the recall notice. http://www.suzukicycles.com/~/media/Recalls/ALT_LT_NO_087_CSP.ashx
  3. What year is it. Some of the early LTZ400's and KFX 400's had problems with the Magniesium Clutch cover. I think Suzuki might have issued a recall and replaced it with an aluminum cover.
  4. I didn't know Pro Design made a pancake bearing. Cascade one is the only way to go. It is longer and has flat spots out on the end so you can adjust your clutch with out having to take the pressure plate off. josh
  5. I run Piaa H6M's in both my Banshee and Raptor's stock lighs. They make a nice bright white light as well. By looking at your pics it looks like the LED head light is more of a Flood light than a beam.
  6. Savage could you get a better picture for me. I got a frame that I need to stamp a new vin on. Your's has a clear title right?
  7. I weigh 250 and didnt like a shaved flywheel. I coudlnt imagine how much I would hate a PVL. I ended up trading my shaved flywheel straight across for non cut one. I know jeff at fast doesnt recomend shaving a flywheel unless you just want a fast sounding engine (reving in neutral).
  8. How much do you weigh? With a pvl you dont have a heavy spining fly wheel so launching will take a lot practice to get it right. It would bog real easy. The guy above who said they were used on on road street bikes with positive resuls is probably true. But on road racing doesnt involve launching from a dead stop like drag racing. Once you up and running you on the pipe until the race is over. Most of a drag race, especially in sand, is the launch.
  9. Knock your self out. Doesnt look any more hidious than mounting individual pc fans in the grill. http://www.banshee-cooling.com/
  10. Doesn't a computer fan run off DC?
  11. Yea I had one for a couple of rides. I took it off because I didn't like it. It might come on the pipe faster but it also falls off of it easier. If you want to try it find one that some one is selling, That way you can always swap back to the factory weight. I wish some one made a flywheel that was a couple more oz heavier.
  12. cut stroker domes, or a spacer plate. The 110 rod stroker crank uses stock banshee pistons. I wouldnt run one though because they are harder on piston skirts. josh
  13. You could always use a Semi Surface Discharge plug. The draw back to them is low speed performance. http://www.sparkplugs.com/files/NGK%2007%20racing_catalog.pdf http://www.ngk.com/results_cross.asp?pid=r6601-8&x=12&y=10
  14. Make sure you design the end cap to accept a spark arrestor that is easy to take out and clean. That would help sell them as well. Nothing like seeing a 15K dollar drag machine with hoaky clamp on cobra sparkies.
  15. It will run but you will be leaving power on the table by not having the jugs ported for a 4 mill.
  16. RK GB520EXW chain. Gold X ring chain. I wouldnt run that yellow chain on my bicycle. I bet it looks cool when it is all balled up around the front sprocket too.
  17. Use Vasoline or Petrolium Jelly, not grease. Grease will stay chuncky and if some gets in to your radiator it could start to plug it up. It obvesly isnt going to happen the first time you do it but it can cause a build up. Vasoline will melt and disperse.
  18. I look at it as some one telling you when some one is talking bad about you behind your back. Would you want to know?
  19. I would go pwk 33's. He obvesly isnt building a drag racer by running T5's and trails. Get a boss racing intake. They move the carbs up so the LH one doesnt hit on the clutch lever. I run 10 deg angled pods with my boss intake and pwk 33's 20 deg angled pods were to much. I posted pics of my boss intake here. http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=131184
  20. You can add water if need be. I it will just raise the freezing temp, that is why they recomend draining and refilling with fresh engine Ice. http://www.engineice.cc/faq.html The "Gritty" stuff in your radiator was probably scale from water. Engine ice uses de ionized water, what ever you were seen was probably already in the radiator when you used engine ice. The water they use in Engine Ice is way more pure than what you can buy. I have never seen this gritty stuff and I have always used Engine Ice.
  21. I like how in Inland ATV's add they advertise a Hot Rod's 4mill crank when clearly the one picutured inst. Hot Rod's has a red anodized center section, not a black one. I have bought stuff from them (my boss intake) at a good price but some of there advertisements seem shady. I think there is a reason why they have 3 different ebay screen names. Inland ATV, in2glamis, and dunetire. I could be wrong but I think they are all the same people. Give jeff at fast a call. He will be in that ball park price.
  22. PJ's are old technology. I would glady trade 1mm for the updated PWK's over 34pj's.
