Another thing that happend is the original posters. They ask a question, you give an answer but you never hear or see of them again. A discussion forum is exactly that. Discussions involve two parties, the Origninal Poster and the people trying to help. It is nice to get feedback on what the problem was and what fixed it. People post asking for help and then never come back to let us know what the out come is. They treat this place like it is Yahoo Answers, or Ask.com

You also need to have the cylinder head rechambered or buy stroker domes for a cool head. 4mill stroker will have the pistons fall 2mm farther down into the cylinder, and come up out of the cylinder 2mm. Grand total of +4mm. You need the head rechambered so the pistons don't hit. You should also have your cylinders ported for a 4mill.

With a heavly oxygenated fuel you need to drain the carbs and tank after your done riding. #1. It will cause the carbs to corode due to the high oxygen content. #2. If you let it sit in the tank you will loose the oxygen. It is like leaving a soda open. Your fuel will be flat.

You have to buy them piece by piece. When I dont my 97 look a like 2006 LE the stickers were about $350 or so by the time I bought all of them. I even got the Premix 91 octane fuel waring sticker on the tank cover.

This is regarding Turbine Cores. The fmf Q might use the same style spark arrestor. Fmf has probably one of the best flowing spark arrested silencers. They do not have any screens to trap stuff. They have fixed fins that spin the exhaust. It forces carbon to smash against the out side of the pipe. USFS requires a spark arrestor to ethirer trap hot carbon, or break it down to a small size.

Splice a T in the fuel line. Splice on in the tank vent hose. Conect the two T's with a piece of clear fuel tubeing.

It costs about the same to purchase the rods and pay some one to press the crank appart and back together vs buying a new hot rods crank. You will need new wiseco 795 series pistons too. They have the wrist pin moved up 5mm to acomidate for the extra 5mm longer rod.

Yep all it nees is a pair of those cracked out blood shot head light covers and it will be good to go.

That is why I never understood why people would weld up the hole on the LH carb so the nut woudln't hit the clutch arm, when you could buy an intake that would raise the carbs.

I have one of these. It works OK, but it is more of a novelty than any thing.

My CPI's have different lenght stinger tubs as well.

Yep that 17mm plug is nice. No more pulling off the float bowls to change a main jet out.

I have herd that the 2's made a little bit more hp as well. But they also have metal screws that hold the petals on wich can cost you a whole lot of hp if they come loose.
