  1. Red your's looks good  Here is mine. Prevous owner said that it was a MX port job done by Victory Motor Sports in Moundridge KS.
  2. I did my 720 stroker in my raptor 660 for that. 4mm stroker crank 102 mm cp piston new valves new double valve springs hot cam stroker cam Kenz Cycle Tech Ported head full gasket kit A top end on a single cylinder 4 stroke isnt any more expensive than one on a twin cylinder 2 stroke. It all depends on your riding style. For trail riding you should take a look at the 700 raptor. Reverse on the trails is handy. The big engines are kind of nice. When my raptor 660 was just piped you could leave it in 3rd and trail ride all day. Has a really broad power band. I have the stoker cam in now and it doenst have the bottom end that it use to. It build its power now by being reved.
  3. How about the trigger or pickup coil?
  4. I am not for sure but, I would figure that a crank spinning at 9000 to 10,000 rpm would be enough turbulance. That is some sweet drag porting. I am going to give that a try.
  5. dajogejr tried to make a mild cub. Cub with toomey T5,s and 28mm carbs. He said that it still wanted to go WOT every where. I believe he ended up going to a strickly dune set up. Drag pipes and 35mm carbs. He will probably chim in when he sees this. josh
  6. I got my boss racing intake from in2glamis on ebay for $110. Best price i have found.
  7. I got some billit pipe hangers so maybe they will pull the pipe away from the frame.
  8. If you dont place the sensor far enough in the exhaust system then i will pickup on the out side air and show lean.
  9. Here is a couple of pics of my boss racing intake.
  10. The fit all years for yamaha Banshee. I have a set of FMF SST Pipes with Turbine Core 2 Silencers for sale. I am asking 450 for every thing. You can email me at jbooker82@yahoo.com The SST is FMF's newest designed pipe. It's retail price is $429 http://www.fmfracing.com/products/catalog....?CategoryID=103 The Turbine Core 2 silencers sell for $269 http://www.fmfracing.com/products/catalog....?CategoryID=116
  11. The LH side hits on the frame, right about where the carbs are. The first tube that the stinger tube runs behind.
  12. I was wondering if any body has had any problems with there Toomey T5's not fitting right. The RH side on my banshee fits perfict. The LH side stinger tube hits on the frame. I was wondering if this is a fluke or if they are just that way. My FMF SST's aslo rubbed on the frame the same way. Is there any fix becides bending someting? Also since it hits on the frame i had to flip the silencer mount. The little aluminum piece that bolts to the silencer and sub frame is now on the out side. Thanks for any ideas josh
  13. I dont run an air box any more. I just use KN clamp on pods. When I was using the just the UPP intake boots and the PJ carbs with the stock air box it was a pain. The air box was wedged in there really tight. Running aftermarket carbs and an air box is a headache to do jetting. Once it was on there it was ok. For the paint is it duplicolor's metal cast spray paint. Just make sure that you put on lots of light coats. The paint is starting to discolor a little around the exhaust ports. The paint is rated at 500 deg F.
  14. If i was you and your getting an aluminum one. There is really only one option. It is the boss racing intake. It has a machined in crossover tube. That is the one that I have on my banshee right now. I got mine from in2glamis on ebay. I believe that is inland atv's screen name on ebay. 125 shipped. I think that you about have to have pods, because the intake is so thick.
  15. Yea it might be but if it is the difference between getting to ride or not, what are you going to do?
  16. Another option would be to use your stock silencers with a set of aftermarket pipes. The stock silencers are US Forest approved as well.
  17. What kind of intake's are you looking for. I have some UPP Racing rubber intake boots for 34mm carbs. They are just the kind that bolt right up to the cylinders. They are like these only in black. UPP Racing Intake Manifold LINK
  18. Here is the link. They dont have a pic with the graphics on. Retro 1 Graphics link Retro 2 Graphics link
  19. Toomey Racing LINK FMF Turbine Core 2 Silencers are US Forestry approved spark arrested as well. You can kind of see the spark arrestor part in the second picture. FMF Turbine Core 2 LINK
  20. There is a company that makes a 2 in to 1 but i cant remember the name. Somthing like motofast or dynoport? It is pretty much a bottom end pipe. It would be great for tight trails.
  21. White Knuckle Graphics LINK They also have a graphics kit that is the retro black and yellow from the 80's
  22. I would like to do my banshee like this. All black with white knuckle carbon fiber flames.
  23. If your really wanting to Jet for a Boost Bottle. Take your current jets out and get a 1/8 in drill bit and drill the jets out. That way when you get massive craks in your intake boots maybe it wont lean out. But then again that will only help engine life beacause you still have to worry about the dirt and sand getting in to the engine. ::
  24. You need bigger pilto jets. Those control fuel around the 1/8 throttle. People say FMF's Like fuel down low. Most people with FMF's run a #30 i believe. A #27.5 is one bigger than the stock #25
