  1. Running non resistor plugs with a nology coil and hot wires would cause my Vapor to reset when you would hit a high rpm. It would just blink and reset. There was so much interfeance I could get a tach reading with out even having the tach lead pluged in to the vapor. Running Resistor plugs made it quit. You wont hurt anything buy running resistor plugs.
  2. Yea it is pretty cool when you forget that you un hooked the regulator and you give it a rev with the headlights on. Nothing like having a set of PIAA H6M Bulbs going off like one time use Flash Bulbs.
  3. I have ran a Nology Coil and Resistor plugs now for several years with no problems. How would a resistor plug cause problems. It is there to prevent problems by reducing interfearance that can cause problems with CDI's.
  4. Yea it was the Klotz with old junk parts vs new parts and 927. What a retard. Klotz has a higher viscosity, and a higher flash point than 927. So it is thicker and burns off at a higher temp but it is a worse oil.
  5. Every increase of 10db is double the sound. So 105 db is 2x as loud as 95 db.
  6. Especially if you chain it up to where they cannot use the ground to support one of the handles of the bolt cutters.
  7. I don't know. This one would be pretty hard to cut. 14mm and it is hex shape so your bolt cutters have a wide flat area to cut right off the bat.
  8. Yep. I have a rotor lock on both my raptor and banshee. Then I use a Kryptonite Lock and Chain them together.
  9. Noss / FAST head because it is 2 piece. It allows you to visually conferm that the domes and o rings are properly in place. You can set a dome over each cylinder at a time. Then slide the base shell down over the domes. The install the top half. With a once pice head you have to have the domes in the head with all the o rings in place and slide it as an assembly down over the studs.
  10. Noss head because it is a 2 piece design. You can set a dome over each bore. Then slide the base shell down over the studs. The put the top plate on. Where one piece heads you have to do it all at once. The two piece design allows you to visually see that the domes and o rings are properly installed.
  11. I wouldn't even buy a set of cases from rattle can. How many sets do you think he has sold from mismatched singles?
  12. The blades keep the air moving straight. Vforce reeds have 2x as many reeds. So you have 2x as many reeds opening half has far. So the reeds spend less time changing direction wich means the move faster for greater responce. V foce specializes in reeds. They know what they are doing.
  13. It is just desinged to be burnt at a higher altitude where the air is thinner. I would run a mix of race fuel, and pump gas before I ran Aviation fuel. Aviation fuel is also rated differently. It has lean and rich octane ratings wich doesnt direclty compaire to pump fuel or race fuel.

  15. I had UPP's with no spacer with Keihin PJ34's. The clutch arm had to be bent down, and the drain bolt was ground down about 2/3's of the way. It still rubbed a little
  16. Yep and after you get them fixed they are still trash due to the Red Neck Hack port job.
  17. Shave the head then have the cut the combustion chamber larger.

  19. I would aslo question the accuracey of an Inductive Pickup tach at 12,000 rpm
  20. A long rod crank isnt a performance gain. It is a durability mod. It reduces the side load on the piston skirts. It reduces the angle of the rod so it isnt trying to force the pistons through the front and back of the cylinders.
  21. The funny thing is the stock cases were not at fault for what happend. It is like hitting a tree in your car then thining you need a heavier built bumper to keep it from happening again.

  23. Do you have them set to High or Low tension. They dont last long if they are set on low tension.
  24. On a plastic one I would just let the chain to the shaving and wearing. That way it is custom fit.
  25. I put my TM Design Works case saver on top of a metal Cascade shift drum cover.
