  1. I got mine from dennis kirk. 86 bucks. I would get it from FAST though. Shops like those need support or they wont be around. Nology Coil on dennis kirk LINK
  2. I run there heavy duit oil stabilizer at 10% in my banshee's trans. It makes the oil climb up the gears.
  3. A good dune port job would be able to handle 35mm carbs. Since you saild "Later on down the road 4 mill and cub." I would go 35mm. Cub has drag port timing right out of the box.
  4. I am in between a rock and a hard spot with these carbs. Do you think that the 35 Air Striker carbs would have as good throttle responce as the keihin pj34mm? I was just wonding if those fins in the front of the carb help out. I am going to stick with my t5's so maybe i would be better off with the 33's thanks again. josh
  5. It keeps stuff like hot glowing carbon from flying out and starting a fire. Some places require you to have them. They are not a performance mod by any means.
  6. I was wondering if a stock bore +4mm stoker would be good in the trails. My cylinders now have an mx port job. I was just looking for more power evey where and not an all top end machine. Do you have to use the spacer plate when you run 795 Series Pistons? I dont really want to run a spacer plate because I have herd that it rases the Port timings wich would shift the power to the upper rpms a little. So if you run the 795 pistons and I get some domes cut for the stroker crank i shouldnt have to run the spacer plate right? Here is my current setup. Toomey T5's MX Port Job Timing at +4 deg Cool head 19cc domes Keihin PJ34mm Carbs K&N Pod's V force 2's Boss Racing Intake Do the Keihin PWK 35mm Air Striker carbs have as good or better responce as the Keihin PWK 33mm carbs. I was just wondering if the Air Striker part would make them respond as good as the 33's. I apprecat any advice you can give. josh
  7. With toomey silencers you have 2 options. The toome silencers with the Sparkie's @ $80.00 dollars a pice (requires 2) Or the Hush 2.5 kit with integrated spakr arrestor @ $189.00 (only one required) Or get a set of FMF's with Turbine Core 2 silencers
  8. The reason why it says not to store U2 in the vehicle is because it is oxygenated, not because it is a race fuel. The high amounts of oxygen in the fuel cause Corrosion to the aluminum carbs. It will really screw them up.
  9. Mine just uses a brass T with a pice of pipe in 2 of the ends and the sensor threaded into the other.
  10. I believe he is talking about Amsoil's oil that is made for motorcycles and atv's. Any motor oil desinge for atv's, and motorcycles is going to be compatible with a wet clutch system. I run 80w gear saver. It isnt the same weight as regular oil. 80w-90 for cars is way thicker. Belrays 80w gear saver is way thiner oil.
  11. I got a set for sale on ebay. Buy It Now and they ship ASAP. Exhaust on Ebay LINK

  13. If your really cool out here you dont even run tires. That is just sweet when you thow sparks. Plus it is like "I got enought money that i dont even think twice about messing up a set of 20's" ::

  18. I run 91 octane fuel on my mx ported cylinders with 19cc domes at 2500 ft elevation. Blending Race Fuel with Pump Premium is the best way to boost octane. Octane boosters can really gum up your carburetors and if it isnt mixed just right.
  19. Hay i figured that you were just going to put the stickers on with no screens. Wasnt trying to knock you. I see that you have T5's. I got these from toomey. The have the info on those stickers stamped righ on them. Plus you can remove them when your not riding were spark arrestors are required. They are kind of pricy though. The area of the screen inside is quite a bit bigger. More area = less restriction so they dont kill power.
  20. Toomey sells one that replaces the end caps of the silencers. Or they have the hush kit that is sparkarrested as well
  21. And this here is why there arnt as many companys selling stuff like this. They put there reputaion on the line and some people have to abuse it. 15 bucks each, just by the stupid things. What are you going to do when they check you and you dont have any screens in there, play dumb and blame alba?
  22. But it is forced induction with the exhaust port opean. The 2 stroke pipe reflects a pressure wave back twards the cylinder to help hold the new air fuel chage in.
