  1. I just did a search for Paint Ball Anodizing at yahoo. The first company that came up offered the Dust finish or a Polished fininsh. I would imagine the polished would be the deep blue your looking for.
  2. Castor 927 is a blend of Castor and Synthetic Ester Oils. Benol is all Caster oil. The reason why that Benol says for Race Engines only is becuase it burns dirty. I think they just figure a Race Engine will be taken appart, clean, tolarances checked, and reassembled enough that the dirty buring is not a probem. I wouldnt worry about it just run it. I would let my tank get about empty before putting the fresh fuel with Benol in. Klotz's web page says that Benol doenst blend with petrolum based oils. It also says that Benol Starts to seperate from the fuel at around 35 deg F.
  3. I have thrush glass packs on my 89 F150. I also have hooker headers with no cats. They arent overly loud. They have a real nice sound to them. Thrush does somthing different. I aslo have 2.25 exhaust pipe. It is the farthest thing from sounding like a Ranch Rocket. I would have taken them off if they did sound like that. I hate cackling. Sounds like a VW Bug on drugs. My bro had these on his built chevy. Headers, no cats 2.5 in exhaust tubing. They are real lould. They reduce your exhast noise by 2 to 4 db over just straight pipe. They just have ceramic in side. No fiberglass at all, They sounded good on his pickup though. Dynomax Bullit Muffler LINK
  4. Just press and hold CTRL, Alt, and Delete Like any other Microsoft product. :yelrotflmao:
  5. Those pipe look good blacked out. I think you would have been dissapointed in the power going from t5's to FMF's. I know I would have been. I went from SST's to T5's and the T5's were way better.
  6. If you get the kit from summit i think it comes with Stainless Steel Zip Ties. DEI is a good brand of header wrap.
  7. I can image that is a tight fit. It is a tight fit with my toomey t5's.
  8. Unless your running two big carbs of today and have the engine for it.
  9. Sounds like your jetting is off. If you wanted to try a hoter plug you need a BR7ES. That is a step hotter. Your jetting is what is fouling plugs, but a br7es might help witht the fouling of plugs until you can get it fixed. Just make sure you kind of listen for pre ignition. It shouldnt be a problem but just make sure you pay attention to it.
  10. I think when you put those in you should put alot of air pressure in your tires. That way when you let it back out to what ever you normaly run it helps the tire keep the screws in. That way the ice doesnt rip them out of the tire. It is kind causes the tire to pintch the screws when you let them back down to riding pressure.
  11. The thing is that the raptors air filter is a crappy designe. It is held in place by the air box lid. They have been known to let dirt by betweent the air box and the foam seal on the air filter cage. I believe that the manual says to oil it with regular motor oil. But like said above i would use a good foam filter oil.
  12. Mine is not a Boss Racing? It has Boss Racing CNC'd in between the rubber intakes
  13. I just have the half lenght ones. I use them on my Toomey T5's. If your going to be putting them on your shear pipes I think that people usually use the full lenght ones since the stingers go up and over the filters. I need to find something to keep them from sliding. A hose clamp would probably be a little harsh on them. I was thinging about trying a couple of zip ties. I dont think they would get hot engough that they would melt them. You can get stainless steel zip ties made for header wrap. That would probably work the best.
  14. Just get some cascade heat wraps. No more burnt filters. I would think that dual smaller carbs would be more responsive.
  15. Your talking about the sock or sleeve type that you slide over the silencer tube to keep from melting your outerwear right? I have them and they work great. They barly get warm on the out side. You can grab them with your hand. I would say they are about the best heat protection you can get. They hold up very well too. josh
  16. weisco prolites Forged piston that you cant go wrong.
  17. ITP's Black Baja Beadlock look a like wheels would look sweet with the outer ring polished.
  18. Are your rings aluminum? I dont believe you can anodize steel. I would like to know who will do it to. I would like to have my cool head done in red. I every body that I have emailed replys back that there company only does large orders. They werent really intrested in doing a single item. josh
  19. too bad you didnt have a +2 roundhouse for a yamaha raptor 660r I would be all over it.
  20. Pull the jugs and see what the topend looks like. If you dont and keep riding, then your problems will only get worse and the cost of the repairs will go up.
  21. This is a must have quad especially if you like your engine to sound like it is going to fly appart at any time. He would trade for a Honda Rancher 4x4 that will do 110 mph.
  22. What part about them doesnt fit right? I had my toomys stinger pipe hit the frame right where the carbs hit. I they sent me a new pipe and stinger tube so we will see if it was toomy's fault or my banshee frame is out of wack. My FMF SST's hit in the same place too. I have herd some times it is the frame's fault. Not that you bent yours but just varies how yamaha made them.
  23. I sprayed my toomy's with white duplicolor 1200 deg paint and they discolored a littlle. Probably 4-6 inches. No biggie though the purple and blue look kind of neat. I even started out rich on my jetting.
  24. Hay Chase I got an idea for you. Next time dont tell them about free stickers. Just throw them in and see if the dick head says thanks. Then you will know what kind of person your dealing with.
