  1. He cuts great deals on banshee parts.
  2. That is going to be tough to do when you can get a Cub for 800.
  3. I run 19cc domes at 2500 ft elevation. I have an MX port job and have 150 psi compression both cylinders. My timing is set at +4 deg. I run 91 octane fuel. Liek every one said every motor is different.
  4. If your going to run an air box make sure you get the prodesign kit with the K&n dont get a stock replacement K&N. Or you could just run clamp on K&N filters right on the carbs. Instead of the Fly wheel mod get you a Noss Head. They use the stock head studs, up the compression, and cool better. If you wanted to up the compression as much as possibe I would get the cylinders ported and put them on and break it in with the stock head. Do a compression check with a high quality compresison gauge. Then call noss and talk to them about what size domes to get with the head first. Porting will change the compression so it would be a good idea to get a good base line with the stock head. That way noss can help you make a better more accurate decision on the head dome size you need to still run 91 or 93 octane fuel.
  5. I switched from power core II to turbine core II's and couldnt really tell. They were with FMF SST Pipes. I now run Toomey T5's and just bought the sparkies for when i need a spark arrestor
  6. If you get Nology Hot Wirze they come with a splice. You cut the original wire off the coil leaving about 1 in stick out of the coil. You thread on this sleeve on to the coil wire(like those coax tv cable ends) then you do the same for the hot wire. I would just get the Nology coild and then you use wires that have the real plug boot on each end. No splicing.
  7. Helped me out a bunch with my PJ's
  8. What kind of oil are you running in the transmission? I usally adjust my clutch cable unil i have a little free play. Just about enought that i can get a Nickle between the clutch lever and pearch.
  9. $70 bucks Shipped. Figuring $50 for the tires and $20 for shipping. I have for sale a pair of ITP Black Water Mud tires. The size is 20X12X8. 90% to 95% tead left. The look bran new except for a little wear on the out side edges of the tires. These tires are a mud tire but I ran them on really soft sand trails were I wasnt allowed to run a paddle tire. The tires worked really well in the sand. I dont have a picture of the accual tire because they are at my storage shed. The look like this. The tire on the RH side. Real square one, not the big baloon type tires. You can pm me or email me at jbooker82@yahoo.com Thanks for looking josh
  10. They say 80w oil is to thick because they are thinking 80W90 as in gear oil for rear axles of cars and trucks. That would be too thick. Bel Ray gear saver 80w oil is what I use. It doesnt feel like a 80w oil. It feels thin like ATF. Next time your at your local shop grab a quart of 80w oil that is made for 2 stroke transmissions and shake it. It isnt thick at all.
  11. It wasnt mine. I have had FMF SST, and now Toomey T5's. I had Pj 34mm carbs and switched to PWK 33 mm carbs. I didnt like the Idle adjustment being on the choak. I ran mine with an air box but got rid of it now. Just give it some time you will start out with the air box and will ditch it sooner or later. It is a real pain in the butt to run with aftermarket carbs. It seems like it takes a hammer and a big prybar to get it in there and take it out. I would deffinatly run some reed spacers if your going to use UPP boots like dajoger said, or a boss racing intake. Those move the carbs around so the LH Carb bowl bolt wont hit the clutch arm. Dont have the bolt hole welded up on the bottom of the LH Carb. If you do then you have to take the whole float bowl off to change the main jet. Other wise you just take it out with a 17mm wrench and change the main jet out with the float bowl still on.
  12. That is what i would do. Only cost a couple of bucks for new ones and your time.
  13. What do you have for intake manifolds? I ran an air box with my Keihin PJ34mm carbs and it was a pain in the butt. I used those UPP intake carb boots and the boots that go from the carbs to the air box. It was a pain to get to the carbs to jet them. The air box gets wedged realy tight because the keihin carbs were longer and took up more room.
  14. Check to see if the parking brake is on or screwed up. That will cause a rev limiter to limit rpms as well.
  15. I wouldnt get the factory fininshed ones. They rust pretty quick. You could paint them but a painted surface is harder to clean. My chrome ones when they get dirty i scurb them with 0000 steel wool and acetone to get the grime off. Then follow up with polish. Rocky Mountain Atv sells the chrome ones for 499. That is the cheapest your going to find. Plus free shipping since your order is over 99 dollars.
  16. I am building an engine for mine. That 3 hp is going out the window.. It uses and pukes more oil out that it burns gas. They are fun to screw around on for sure. I am fixing one up now. When I get done with it I might steal your paint job for this one. Flat Black with red wheels. Like the the 30's roadsters.
  17. Nice Truck. It carries over from your Banshee.
  18. It was pretty easy. I just had to cut the old engine mounts off the top of the crossmember and bolt the 302 F150 mounts behine the crossmember. The 300 Strait six has the same transmission bell housing pattern. I just had to swap wiring harnesses, Radiator, AC and power steering hoses, and some other little stuff. If i was going to try it with a ranger i would deffinatly buy one of those kits that has the engine mounts, special headers, and that kind of stuff already in it. The no spoiler is part of the sporty look of the bullitt. How many mustangs do you see with out spoilers on them? Just about every mustang comes with one now a days. Even the base line V6 model. The really expensive sports cars dont have them. Corvett, Lambo, exc. I am not saying that I got the perfromance of those cars but kind of the look.
  19. I dont think it would plug driectly in line. Just use new rubber hose and plumb it your self.
  20. We will see. I might get a few to come from nebraska.
  21. What the Heck here is my Harley Davidson. josh
  22. Here is my 2001 Mustang GT Bullitt. josh
  23. Here is my 89. Not nothing fancy. It had a 300 straigth 6 cylinder engine. I switched it over to a 91 mustang GT 302. Kept it all fuel injected. josh
  24. Here is how you get your carbs board out to a bigger size. Talk to this guy. www.farmandsandtoys.com Order larger carbs from the guy above. I dont know why people would jack around with the stock carbs. If you want more power then go with larger carbs.
  25. Why dont you just get a small one made for auto engine oil or transmission cooler. Just hook it in line with the factory one on your wolverine. Hose in to your factory oil cooler. Hose coming out of your factory cooler to the car style cooler. Hose going from the auto cooler back to your wolverines engine. Oil Cooler From JEGS LINK
