  1. Acorind to vitos web page there domes fit there hemi head, noss head, prodesign cool head. So they all should interchange. http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/home.php?cat=182 Call noss machine up. He probably has the set of domes that your looking for on hand. Standard domes, big bore domes, standard bore stroker domes, big bore stroker domes, domes for running 4mill crank with blaster pistons. He would be the guy to tak to. Talk to the man that makes them rather than the guy that just sells them. Plus he is a site sponcer and a good guy to deal with. Noss Machine's Web Page LINK
  2. You could also take the water pump cover off. That would make sure you get all of it out of the waterpump housing and that little hose that runs from the water pump to the back side of the head. I got one of those eazy drain water pump covers. So you just pull the little bolt out. Good item to have.
  3. The Eastwood company has a product and special buffing pads for doing old lights off of cars. Makes old tail lights and side marker lights look new again. You might check with them. I just used this wheel as an example. There are many others you can use. Eastwood Plastic Buffing wheel Eastwood Plastic Buffing Compound
  4. Ronnies is a great company. The are have the best prices on OEM Parts.
  5. Do you have a long rod crank or a long rod stroker crank? .100 over is 66.5mm right? I dont know if this helps you at all, but my banshee is going to be running 66mm blaster pistons with a long rod stroker crank. I think you have to run domes that are made for blaster pistons though. The blaster has piston sizes from 66mm to 68.25 in .25mm increments.
  6. T.M Designworks makes a set out of there plastic. Supose to be zero maintenance, self lubercating. http://www.ronniesmailorder.com/eshopprod_..._STIK-SELF_.htm
  7. The cheapest I have found it for AFTER i orderd mine for 49.95 was www.ronnies.com http://www.ronniesmailorder.com/eshopprod_...DESTRUCTABL.htm I also ordered one of there rear chain guides with the double power lip rollers. http://www.ronniesmailorder.com/eshopprod_...AR_CHAIN_GU.htm
  8. Naw just up grading. If some body would have a good picture of the back side of a stock flywheel that would be great. josh
  9. Nothing really. I have a RS 200w stator and 4 trail tech lights. There flywheel is supose to have stronger magnets in it to increase the power output of the stator at lower rpm's. I know the banshees lights are going to dim when it is idleing but maybe not as bad with the RS Flywheel. http://www.rickystator.com/catalog/product...products_id=128
  10. Kind of dirty in the pics. I have the HPI MT-2. 4x4 stadium truck. I have the .18 or 3.0cc O.S. TZ Turbo Engine in it. It goes like hell in the snow and sand with these paddle tires on all four. I got the steel spur gear, and heavy duity steel diff gears. The motor keeps twisting the main shaft that the spur gear mounts to. 2.3 Hp and has a usable rpm range of 5,000 to 40,000 RPM.
  11. Here is a pic of my real carbonfiber tank cover. Give you an idea of what it would look like.
  12. look at noss's chart. http://www.nossmachine.com/banshee_heads.htm 145 compression at 5000 feet is 18cc domes. If your top end is in good shape I would probably get some 17cc domes. BigRed made his own domes because he rides at a way high altitude.
  13. I got to tear in to my machine before I know if I need one or not.
  14. If you ran a stock stroke long rod crank you would still have to run the 795 series pistons. Long Rod = 795 series pistons 4mill stroker = cut the head or run the spacer plate. A long rod crank is more reliable because it causes less side load on the piston skirts.
  15. I would have it welded up. That crack can only grow. It might be ok for now but who knows later on.
  16. How do you tell the difference between Ricky Stator's flywheel and the yamaha oem one? I have herd people talk about the ricky stator one when people have it milled down they cant go as far. Something about the magnets are molded inside of the flywheel vs. the stock one has them exposed on the inside. I was just wondering becuase i thought about buying the RS one and am not for sure if the previous owner already installed one. josh
  17. I have herd that FMF also use to make there FMF Rev pipe for the banshee as well. Maybe that is what yours are?
  18. It is a hard plastic like material. Like what the stock white rear chain guid is made up of.
  19. Well any thing is better than nothing. The TM one does cost about 2x as much though.
  20. Why would it leak. Just weld up the hole for the breather and drill a new on on the other side. Cut the brackets off the axle and reweld them on the proper side. People with derby cars do this all the time. That way they have 2-3 reverse gears and 1 forward gear. The only thing you would really have to worry about would be starving the pinion bearing of oil. Most pinions are on the lower side of the axle. When you filip it will be on the top. Just run the oil level higer in the axle.
  21. When you break the chain it could bind right where it starts to enter the case saver. With no suport at the top of the case saver or behind it against the cases it is going to honk on that end of the case saver. It is going to put alot of pressure on those 3 small bolts at the bottom. Wether the bolst break, bend, or the bosses where the bolts go in to break or crack that all depends on if it binds and how fast your going at the time. I havent herd of a chain break when your slowing down. Chances are the damage is already going to be done by the time you realize something has happend..
  22. http://www.fmfracing.com/products/catalog....?CategoryID=116 If you get caught it is a 200 dollar fine here in nebraska. Plus you get to push or tow your machine out of the trails. Buying the turbine core 2 silencers are the only legal way to do it. It has to have USFS Approved stamped on the pipe. Some people on here use some type of wire screen and just jam in in the exhaust and put a sticker on the pipe. Putting that srceen in there would really restrict the exhaust. When I bought my banshee it has FMF SST Pipes with Powercore 2 slilencers. I had to buy the Turbine Core 2's. They were a good silencer. I couldnt even tell that i switched performance wise. I have toomey's now and run there sparkies. They are big for a reason. Greater surface area of the screen so they dont restrict the exhaust. I cant tell a performance difference with those on ethier.
