  1. I am sure he will take care of me. Hopefully he will send some new ons out that way I can just swap them out and not have my shee down for a week or so.
  2. The domes are not stamped with a size. I believe they said Blaze RG 3.3 when I got them. Wrote in perminate marker. RG i think is Race Gas not sure what the rest of dans code is. What kind of crankshaft are you running. The 6mm sounds right because I am running a +4 mm long rod stroker crank. Maybe the domes I got are cut for the regular 795 sereis pistons that you would run with a long rod stroker crank? Those pistons woudl have the wrist pin moved up 5mm to account for the 5mm longer rod. Blaster pistons are 6mm shorter so a difference of 1mm.
  3. Yea I put the solder parallel with the wrist pin. I smashed 3 pieces on each side to make sure and they all came out about that same thickness. I emailed him to see what he says. My banshee runs great just down on compression from where it should be. 135-140 psi with dan's race fuel domes. josh
  4. I believe the base for that claim is that the super stock pistons have part of the piston head notched so it advances the exhaust port timing. A Port job and regular wiseco's are the way to go.
  5. Well just measured the squish. got .083 on the LH side and .082 on the RH side. Guess that explains the low compression on Patriot Racings Race Fuel Domes. I used the thin Cometic base gasket as well. The one they advertise as being thinner than stock to help raise the compression. josh
  6. Alright guys thanks. I will check mine and let you know what it is. I was just wondering because I got my drag ported 4mill blaster piston engine back to gether. The domes are supose to be blaster piston stroker domes for running race fuel. After about a tank of fuel the compression is only 140 psi. I used my good snap on gauge. josh
  7. I was wondering what most people run for a squish clearance? What would you guys say the bare Minimum and the Maximum it should be. josh
  8. Get the PWK33's, cable and even filters from jeff at fast. He has the best price. As for the intake you should look at the boss racing intake. Or a version of one. Majic Mike sells one like it. It raises the carbs so the bowl doenst hit on the clutch arm on the LH Carb. It also has a built in crossover inbetween the carbs so there is no external tube or boost bottle. Here is a Pic of my boss intake.
  9. Sorry. I think Noss Machine makes special custom domes for running blaster pistons in a banshee. You shouldnt have to deck the cylinder at all. www.nossmachine.com The domes are made to by noss machine to work in the noss head. The domes from the noss head are the same for the prodesigne cool head or any other head that useese the same domes as a prodesign head. It is just a custom cut dome for running blaster pistons. The ones that I have are for a 4 mill long rod crank with blaster pistons.
  10. I have had my 200w stator for a while everything works great. Run 4 trail tech toarch lights. I just put on there flywheel with stronger magnets and wow. They are way brighter at lower RPM. Deffinatley worth the $125
  11. Why dont you just run domes that are made for blaster pistons? They have the right shape that matches the crown of the blaster piston. PM. or talk to Nossmachine. They porbably have the domes you need on hand.
  12. Owned :yelrotflmao: . My frame is black chrome with the sparkles. Every body says it is sweet.
  13. If your going to buy an intake I would recomend the Boss Racing one. Or one like it. It uses regular OEM Mikuni ruber flanges that can be bought for around 10-15 bucks. It has a crossover machined in between the carbs instead of having the external crossover tube. It aslo raises the carbs up so if your running bigger carbs, the LH carb bowl doenst hit on the clutch arm. It really cleans up the intake area. There are several companies that sell intakes like it. Doenst have to be an original boss racing one. Majic Mike on here sells them as well. Here are some pics of mine.
  14. Your fine. I run Keihin PWK 33's on my mx ported stock stroke cylinders.
  15. Why dont you just get a new o ring for the valve for $1 from yamaha. Bet you wont find a used valve shipped on there for that price.
  16. It will run worse because packing keeps turbulance from happening in the muffler. All your going to do is gain noise and loose power.
  17. Run 100% race gas. If the sound you are hearing goes away then try 50/50. Still no strange sound try 25/75. If the sound comes back then you know you will need to a little more race gas with regular. Start at 100% and ween it down until you her the pinging come back and then up the % a little more until it goes away. Lean jetting can aslo make pining worse. Try backing your timing off if you dont want to run race fuel.
  18. PWK33's great carb. I wouldnt waste time with 28's
  19. I think the leak down tester you have is for automobiles. For testing to see the shape of they rings and cylinders. You should still be able to get it to work.
  20. Pull the valve out of the tank and check to make sure the screans on the tubes isnt pluged up. Then take the carbs appart and clean the jets and passages out with a good carb cleaner.
  21. Word. My banshee would barly ideal at 7 turns out. I think I ruan in in the 8.5 turns out range.
  22. Like Dajogerjr said there is no way he is hitting 70's more like mid 50's
