High or Low tension. It's pretty self explanatory. When you look at the shape of the bar when it's on high it contacts the reeds closer to the tips so the reed has more tension. When it's on low it's not clamping the reed as far down so you get less tension.
Low tension reeds are going to be more responsive at the cost of reed petal life. Where as high tension will be a little stiffer and not open as far but it will make petal life a little longer.
I was talking about this gauge. If the gauge retains pressure due to a check valve it won't show a pressure drop.
You can also see how accurate the slime pressure gauges is in that video since the needle rests on the needle stop post before all the pressure is released.
Most tire pressure gauges have a one way check valve that won't let the pressure release until you press the bleeder valve. When you take a tire pressure reading and unhook the gauge does it hold pressure or release all of it? If it holds pressure how would the gauge show a leak?
Id try it again with a different gauge. Trying to get a 60 psi tire gauge to accurately read and notice a 5 lb drop at the bottom end of the scale isn't going to work real well.
Something like a 0-15 psi gauge.
My Vapor is just hooked up to the Always hot side of the head light wiring. You can tap in to the switch or the yellow wire / bullet connector coming out of the stator.
I do have problems with mine blinking out and resetting if I run B8ES plugs. I have no issues when running BR8ES plugs. The resistor plug eliminates the interference that causes it to glitch. I am also running a Nology coil so that may have contributed to part of my issue as well.
Which one is it. KL-200 Original Techniplate or a Motorcycle Techniplate?
I believe SuperTechniplate is 80% Original Techniplate and 20% Benol caster oil.
Are you feeling OK? Normally you would just berate someone for not doing a search, instead of promoting discussion on a discussion forum.
And by the way Graydon 2:1 here. It sucked compared a dual carb setup.
Pros : faster to jet since there is only one carb.
Cons. Smaller dual carbs have better throttle response, and better top end.
Convenience go for the 2:1. Performance go with duals.
You have to sync two different settings. First is the idle speed adjustment screws. You want to do this with slack in the throttle cable. The second adjustment is the carb tops. This is done with tension on the carb cable. That way both slides lift at the same time and the same amount. I usually take the thumb throttle cover off and use a 1/4" extension or small socket to wedge in between the housing and the arm that pulls the cable. This way the throttle is held slightly open and at a constant rpm. Then go back and fourth between carbs making adjustments to get them to the same reading.
