  1. Give noss machine a call. They make all those custom domes.
  2. So what dates is everybody going down. I might be going the 4-7th of OCT.
  3. Thanks. You might do a search for BigRed350x His shee is candy blue frame. With Lime green A arms, and Swing arm. With white plastics. Kind of a love it or hate it look. I thought it looked wild. josh
  4. If your worried about the skirts then get a long rod crank. That will help alievate stress on the skirts. Then again might as well get a 4 mill long rod crank while your at it if your going to change cranks.
  5. That and the Blaster piston is a hair shorter than a 795 series piston. So when you switch over to blaster domes you should gain a little compression.
  6. I have an armidilo one on my banshee. Mine has the spark plug holder that holds two extra plugs. You can also just cut the back of the air box off and use it as a bracket.
  7. You cant see it in the pic very well but yamaha's 2006 Limited Edition plastics have a little metalic flake in them. My fram is PCed Black Chrome with a PC Giltter Clear Coat. I built my banshee to look like an 06 LE with little differences.
  8. All of the Domestic Motor companies put ATF in there manual transmissions from the factory. The only manual transmissions that use Hipoid Gear oil now days are the older 4 speeds from the 70's.
  9. When you get it ported make sure you tell them your giong to be doing a 4 mill. Have them port it to not run a spacer plate and use custom cut domes. As for reeds I would do Vforce 3's with cascade's reed stuffers. josh
  10. Dont get that kit. Here is a list of what you will need. Stroker crank aound 400-450 from FAST Wesico 795 series pistons Noss head with domes cut for the stroker crank (Rechambered stock head woudl do) Port job for the 4 mill stroker crank. gaskets. That spacer plate in that kit moves the cylinders up so the pistons dont hit the head. 4mill stroker causes the pistons to travel 2mm down farther in to the cylinder and 2mm higher in the cylinder. If you run stoker domes in a noss or cool head then you dont run that plate. Cut domes is the way to go. That way you dont have to use that plate. Just throwing that kit in a stock ported motor will be a waste. Get a port job to really make it scream. Talk to a couple builders. Patriot Racin FAST Passion Racing Herr Jugs The list goes on and on. Some will be back logged months some will be albe to have a quick turn around.
  11. Hay dan I would apprecate it if you would see what he did to make them work. If you know the guy. Dont go making a new friend because of me though. I will let you guys know what cascade says when I here back from them. josh
  12. I emailed cascade innovations. Maybe they would know since they make silencers for toomey, cpi, and sheere's pipes. What are the spark arrestor options for CPI's ? incase the toomey silencer's wont bolt up to the cpi stinger tubes.
  13. I am thinking about switching from toomey t5's to CPI's. I have to have a spark arrestor where I ride. I have toomey's Sparkies and like how they mount up with the snap ring. Could I use CPI's Pipes, and stinger tubes with toomey's Silencer bodies? They look like the silencer bodies mount to the stinger tubes the same. I cant really tell though. josh
  14. From the frame to the brake caliper the brake line is rubber. When you put on the brakes you increase the pressure. That causes the fluid to push on the piston and aply the brakes. That pressure also causes your rubber brake hoses to swell. Stainless steel lines dont swell there for you apply more force to the caliper. Go out to your banshee and squeez the breaks. watch the rubber hose. You can see it happen.
  15. I ususlly dump some 2 stroke oil down there. You can put some in those little holes that go down twards the crank bearings as well.
  16. I just had my drum filled with Citgo 110 . 5.13 a gallon, $327 for 55 gallons
  17. e85 is 2 bucks a gallon around central nebraska. There are a few stations that price gouge and charge 10 cents a gallon cheaper than regular gas.
  18. I have the Black Pro Tek. Pretty neat with the clear window. Pro Tek LINK
  19. Your going to have to pull the motor and split the cases. All that dirt also is on the crank and in the berings. Hopefully you still have a good crank. Probably not but it is a shot in the dark.
  20. Get it ported. When do a top end is the perfict time for porting. Porting is going to give you the most HP per dollar.
  21. 1 kick with no choak during normal riding weather. 1 or 2 kicks in cold weather with one carb choaked.
  22. The trinity head has to use trinity domes. That is ok if you plan on staying with stock stroke. If you ever do a stoker or get custome domes then your going to have to have trinity make them. Other wise if you get a noss head, cool head, vitos hemi head, paul turner, or mod quad head they all use the same design domes. I would get a noss head because you can get them in colors, you dont have to get longer head studs, and they use the universal dome. Plus BHQ memebers get 10%off. www.nossmachine.com
  23. If your talking about the pistons that have the notch taken out of the top of the piston to advance the timing of the exhaust port then dont run them. The guy that ported the cylinders has alread set the port timing. Chances are those pistons are over advancing the exhaust port timing.
