  1. Those are just High Temp Silicone hoses. Probably sells for no more than 2 bucks a foot and places are charging 5.50 for 2 inches. If you bought a foot from them it would be 33 bucks. I can garuntee that they are not paying 33 bucks a foot for that hose.
  2. What was your jetting with the PWK35's ? I am running PWK33's Patriot Racing 4mill Drag ported 66mm bore (400cc's) with toomeys now. (CPI's are on there way) Pilot jet 45 Needle CEL on the middle clip Main jet 155
  3. I am not saying this caused the warm temps but. Since you were riding in colder temps than normal you would think that your banshee would run cooler. Cooler temps also require a richer main jet. It could have been a little leaner than what you normally ride at so that could have caused the banshee to run a little warmer.
  4. Just make sure you dont run an oil that has caster oil in it. It suposedly seperates out and at colder temps (lower 30's). How bad it seperates out I dont know. Take some of your premix and put it in a pop bottle and put it in the freezer. See if the caster oil chunks up or still stays a liquid and keeps blended if your shake it.
  5. It does do it most people just dont notice it. It is more noticable on vehicles because they have cooling systems that hold way more coolant. The more coolant you head up the more room for expansion you need. I doubt you would be able to tell how much a half gallon of coolant expands unless you measured it with a graduated cylinder. Now if it runs real hot and the radiator boils over then you would probably notice it suck the excess coolant back in to the radiator. That is because you now have a hot gas ( as one of the 4 states of matter) in the radiator, and a gas expands and contracts way more with a change in temperature than a liquid does.
  6. Yea it worked just like it is designed to do.
  7. This will be my next chain I buy. RK GB520EXW. It has 6 sealing points vs the 4 that an x ring has. Right now I just have the standard RK 520XSO chain and it is holding up fine.
  8. How about neither. Get a noss head. Same thing as the Pro Design only you dont have to take your stock head studs out and put longer Pro Design ones in. The noss head uses the same domes as the Pro Design. 90% of all "cool heads" use the Pro Design style domes. The trinity one has to use trinity domes. So you get to pay the trinity price, plus if you ever need custom domes for say a 4mill stroker crank you will only be able to get them from trinity. I am sure a set of custome domes from trinity are a pretty penny too. Trinity head also uses some kind of gasket along with some orings I was told. So when you take the head off you will have to get another head gasket from trinity, vs just slaping the noss head back on with the o rings. Noss is a sponcer on the site too. BHQ members get 10% off. Let him know when you order it, or put BHQ in as a coupon code. Plus you can get the noss head in anodized colors. www.nossmachine.com josh
  9. They bolt on with recessed allen head bolts. The allen head bolts go on the back side of the basket. I got my hindson bran new off of ebay for 100 bucks. Guy had it listed wrong so no one else found it to bid against me. :yelrotflmao:
  10. #1 No you can really fix it. You can file it down but there will still be play between the basket and fibers. #2The fiber plates moving around is what causes it to happen. Once you give it a little play it will happen faster. #3 No that is not normal. The only way to fix it is to get a new OEM Basket, or (the better option) Get a billit basket and put your gear on the basket.
  11. Are you talking one piece as on maniflold for both cylinders or it is made out of 1 solid pice of aluminum. I think all the internal crossovers are made out of two pieces. Here is a pic of my boss.
  12. If your the true hot rodder that you say you are, Why do you have a problem with somebody making Huge horespower with an aftermarket cylinder. How does your hot rod shop feel about World Casting's Merlin blocks for those 1000 HP Chevys. Or do you guys still like to use Chevy 2 Bolt main blocks.
  13. Plus how would the slime get to the beed? That stuff is only made ot fix holes in the tire tread part. It doenst do squat for side wall punctures or beed issues.
  14. Bleeding brakes isnt to bad onece you get it to intially start. Going from a completly dry system is a pain. I let mine sit over night and then I could finally start to pump fluid and get them to bleed. I have herd of people taking an old rez cap and drilling a hole in it. Turn you air compresser down and shoot 10 lbs of air in to help the brake system prime.
  15. Not according to there web site. NOHA LINK
  16. If you want to keep the CPI Pipes then get it ported. Or sell the pipes and get a good pair of all round pipes. A drag pipe on a stock port motor will proabalby always disapoint. Those other mods you listed will be good but still wont make up for the lack of a port job, and running drag pipes.
  17. Yea It could be made in taiwan. One mans junk is another mans treasure. It might not pass Hot Rods Specs so some other company sells it.
  18. How long of an arm are you running. I have a patriot racing 400cc drag port 4 mill. I have a stock arm and Dan from patiot racing recomend running skat trak 20x10x10 9 paddle extreems. He said if I was going to be running a +6 arm then 21x10x8 10 paddle extreems would be a good choice.
  19. My GF went in this one. She didnt see the little hill in it and tried to go down and around it at the last second.
  20. I herd about it on here and ordered some off the net. I was suprised when the showed up. I figured it would be just for 1 side or somthing. But a pair showed up. If they werent going to give me them for that pice I would have just been happy with my V force 2's
  21. Going to try to be at Genoa Jamboree on Saturday. Maybe I will see you there. josh
  22. The black banshee is the one in the pic I posted right. It was too fast for me. I was just messing around in that pic :yelrotflmao:
  23. No that wasnt us. We were on the other side of the road. First camp site behine the shower house. Had 2 chevy pickups with car trailers. Right beside each other. Here are some pics. Here is our camp.
  24. I got a set of vforce 3's from motosport for 125 when they had them at that rock bottom price.
  25. Hay sorry guys. I forgot my Duct Tape. I was there. We were camping at the south camp ground. Our Camp site was the first one behined the shower house at the South dune entrance. (inbetween the shower house, and LS Power Sports Clothing Store.
