  1. Yea you can use bolts throught the hub and spacer. That is what some spacers come with. Some have extended studs that tread on over the stock studs too.
  2. How do you figure? I run 4 trail tech lights and they are more bright even on the top end with my banshee reved up.
  3. If it is like all the others you go by where the cases split for referance. If you put the split at 0 then it is set at the stock location.
  4. I got one. It does make the lights brighter and they work better at a lower RPM.
  5. Dan Wade from Patiriot Racing recomends DMC pipes for his hot trail motor that he builds. He recomends T5's for his dune motor. He recomends Paul Turner Mids for his mx port motor. I would say that DMC pipes are a midrange pipe that falls inbetween PT Mids, and T5's.
  6. When you get a jug of prestone it is that 5 year 150,000 mile stuff. Suposedly works with all types of antifreeze.
  7. Cheapest place will be Yamaha of troy. I got these for my banshee. They have a little metalic in the black plastic. Comes with everyting. Fenders, Tank Cover, Carbon Fiber radiator cover.   8. That aluminum plate idea would restrict flow. The back of the 2 in to 1 boots get bigger so it is a smooth transision. Sounds like you should have just gotten the boot from the guy that sold you the intake.

  11. I wish somebody made a real fine screen for some real protection. I am not really wanting ones for looks. I would rather have one that will protect my 400 dollar prodesign radiator.
  12. I Believe that style of sync has to use vaccuum ports behined each carb. You could probably rig up somting to hook in to the holes in the stock manifold where the crossover tube goes. Those sync's are more for street bikes.
  13. If you do not sync your carbs why not just put a thumb throttle on each side of the bars. Have one for each carb, that way you can run them independently. Then these people get on here and ask.   14. I just use stock base gaskets on my stock cylinders that have been resleeved with 66-68.5mm sleeves.
  15. Buy your Shearers from Cascade Innovations. They get there pipes bare and have there chromer do the chrome. I am wating for a set of CPI's from them. You will pay a little more but there stuff is top notch.

  17. I run ethire Honda HP 80w 2 stroke transmission oil, or 80w Bel Ray Gear Saver. It is best to run a transmission oil that is designed for a 2 stroke tranmission.
  18. Doesnt the rad valve just have 2 sets of reeds per cylinder like the stock cage. Vforce 2's and 3's have 4 sets of reeds per cylinder. 2 as many reeds equal same flow with out having the reeds opean as far. Wich means better throttle responce. Or all 4 opeaning more and flowing better than the 2 reed setups.

  20. Use vasoline or petrolium jelly. The first time it gets hot it all melts. It doesnt build up. If you use regular grease it wont melt. eventually you could get enough in your radiator to start causing problems.

    OS Radiator

    I bought a PD radiator because they look to be the biggest. I got mine from a guy on ebay for 365 or so. I cant find his user name. All he sold was PD stuff. Here is an auction for one but I didnt pay that much. I got mine because I like to play around on hills VS going 90 in a straight line to keep it cool. Ebay LINK
  22. Yea your right those are different hoses. The hoses that come with toomey pipes or cascade's clamps just apprears to be a silicone high temp hose. Just looks like heater hose for vehicles. Most heater hose for vehicles is rubber, not silicone hose though.
  23. I would get the PD then. Just because of the avalability of there domes. Every body makes domes for the PD head.
  24. I wish I could brag about that. Can you do a 530 chain swap. I know that is what the crotch rockets use. I dont know if they make 530 sprockets for a banshee though
  25. How do you adjust the idle speed on your carb? PJ's you turn the choak Knob. PWK's there is a scew that angles up that lifts the slide a little.
