  1. How do you replace the center o rings. Going to try to streatch them over the crank and hope hey srink back down?
  2. You can get it from Toomey Toomey Hush Kit You can also get the kit from alba.
  3. I dont have any experiance with them. That is just what I herd.
  4. I have herd that the T rex eats power valves.
  5. You should just keep it and change the needle and seats out cause your going to have to buy a dual pignel again.
  6. The last major improvement of the banshee happend in 89 or 90 when ever they went from J Arm to A arm. If you got rid of your banshee and bought a new 2008 the only real difference would be yours has a tail light and the new banshee (2001 and up) has a brake light / tail light. Is that really worth it?
  7. There must not be any running banshee's in bansheeville because the pollution is 0.
  8. I have the Cable Life kit. Comes with a can of lube, and the luber. You still have to take 1 end loose up by the handle bar. You put the luber on and put the straw from the can in the hole and it forces lube down in to the cable. I still seem to get oil all over my hands though. The cable life luber has 3 different places for 3 different thickness of cables, and it has 2 screws to really sinch it down.
  9. Let him balance his lock up. Hope he doesn have a clear cover cause it will have a slight wabble
  10. I would shave 30 off of it and reinstall the head. Check squish, and do a compression check. You can always take more off later but it is kinof hard to put it back on. I think around 40 tho you have to have the chamber reshaped.
  11. I think most people use sock bowls with a pump or billit bowls and gravity feed. You probably need to change the needle and seat out if you want to run a pump on your keihins. The stock needle and seat is set up for gravity feed.
  12. I wouldnt chage the fittings out just for color. If your looking for anodized ones they are probably going to be aluminum. Good luck with those as you will probably endup breaking them off.
  13. Long rod 4 mill crank Yea but you will need 795 series pistons and a spacer plate. Best route is 795 series pistons and a a cool head with domes made for a 4 mill, or have your stock head cut for the 4mill crank. Cutting the head is a better choice than putting a spacer plate under the cylinders. If you went with a standard rod length 4mill crank then you wouldnt need the 795 series pistons. They are just for long rod cranks, both the stock stroke long rod, and 4 mill long rod crank.
  14. And make sure you install it right side up. Since your shee had a fresh top end mabye the guy installed the gasket upside down?
  15. I would try a new head gasket. Or you could slap on a cool head while you have the stock head off.
  16. Did you clean those pistons up or is that how they looked when you tore it appart? If that is how they looked when you tore it appart I would say the head gasket went bad or the head came loose letting coolant in. Washed the pistons clean. The RH side can also smoke because of a bad crank seal. That seal has to keep the transmission fluid out of the motor. Seal goes bad and it starts buring transmission fluid causeing it to smoke.
  17. You can also use unleaded gasoline. That is what the dual fuel stoves and lanterns are ment to run. I have an old colman gas lantern. (mid 80) it is supose to run just the colman fuel.(i think it is pretty much the same as the newer dual fuels, colaman just didnt think of it at the time) It runs fine on unleaded.
  18. Yea that is how I find neutral too. I think my foot is more gentler pushing down than rocking the foot up.
  19. I think those cascade bikes are a show case for there products.
  20. When running straight race fuel most people shoot for 175-185 PSI. You dont really want anything over 190. If your crank is not welded then you should tear it down and have that done.
  21. How is the 100 octane rated. (R+M)/2 Research octane is going to be higher. The Reseach octane is not as hard of a test. Motor octan is the harder test. My Citgo 110 and Sunoco 110 is 110 octane rated by the (R+M)/2 Citgo 110 Research Octane Rating of 114 Motor Octane Ratign of 106 I dont know what your max compression is on 100 octane fuel. What kind / brand is it? I would trust 100 motor octane on that compression but if it is reaseach octane I wouldnt. More than likely it is the R+M / 2 rated. You would just have to try it and see. Listen for pinging, and if it is you need higer octane, or less compression or timing. You might be able to get away with 175 psi and backing the timing off if it is pinging.
  22. I have a long vent tube that goes down to the bottom frame tube by the lower a arm. I have an aftermarket cap that doesnt have a check valve. So it seeps a little fuel out. That way the fuel doesnt spill on the plastic or other parts. If it was just gas I wouldnt worry but after a while the oil build really atracts dirt. So i just vent my fuel tank clear down.
