  1. Yea that is what they said. Same size as the cpi end caps. josh
  2. Are they Air Strkers or regular PWK's. Set the air screws at 2 turns out. 48 Pilot You main is probably plenty big Have you adjusted the Idle screws and synced the carbs?
  3. Yea the the silencer body is 2.5 inches. Here is the Trinity Spark Arrestors. I am going to try my hardest to make them work. They are the same size as cpi's end cap. The only real problem I see maybe happing is the holes not lining up.
  4. I have them too. I like the look too. The boxy 1980's look. Just remember Dumbo does fly.
  5. I am glad I seen this. I just sent back my cobra clamp on sparkys. I called trinity on the phone and gave them them some mesurements and ordeded a set. I will keep you posted on how the go on. I might have to end up redrilling the 3 bolt holes for the silencer bolt holes.
  6. Most places wont touch a used set of pipes. The oil can ruin a 60K tank of chemical.
  7. What about the change from a non resistor plug to a resistor or plug?
  8. I cant give you numbes but I switched from t5's to cpi's on my drag ported 4mill and it was a huge differance. I would recomend cpi's to you since you have a heavy dune port.
  9. If you are wanting to stay with a dual carb setup then I would go with PWK 28's or the 30mm OKO's.
  10. TheShee does a good job. I believe his buffer is in a non heated shed. I would hate polishing parts in a non heated shed in 0 deg wyo weather. Cascade Innovations has a polishing service too.
  11. That is the way I went. I bought a set of Drag Ported Patriot Racing 4 mill cylinders that had a cracked sleeve for around 100 bucks. I sent them back to Patriot Racing to be resleeved with big bore sleeves. First bore is 66mm and final bore is 68mm. I just run blaster pistons on my 4 mill long rod crank. I wouldnt have spent the 300-400 for a port job then another 400 for the relseeve job but since I got the cylinders (pretty much just a port job) for cheap I thought it was worth it. I got around 500 in the cylinders. I saw a while back somebody on here selling a set of Drag Ported K&T stock cylinders that were on there last bore. If you can get them for cheap enough it might be worth haveing them resleeved with big bore sleeves. josh
  12. Yea that is the way to go. I am sure it isnt a problem if you have a builder that knows what he is doing. I think it has to be relieved because it gets hot and expands making the piston clearance a problem.
  13. People use those when they run methanol. If your running gas and ride at the same average elevation I would just jet the carbs. If your doing pikes peak races where you start out at the bottom of a mountain and race to the top then I would say they would be good to have.
  14. Yea your pipes are the best you can get for an average built stock cylinder motor. If your wanting more power take the jugs off and get them ported. The next step up from a toomey t5 is a set of cpi's but they deffinatly should be used with a dune or drag port job. josh
  15. Get a boss racing or white knucke racing intake. They have a built in crossover inbetween the carbs. It also moves the carbs up and back a little so if you run bigger carbs they dont hit on the clutch arm. White Knuckel Racing Intake LINK I run a pair of cascades reed stuffers with my intake. They are just a square pice of metal that allows you to not have to run the pice that slides in to the reed opeaings. Cascade Reed Stuffers LINK
  16. I dont know if I would want the viper sleeves. You might be able to make more power with them, but doesnt the exhaust bridge cause problems. Did the Quadzilla have an exhaust bridge and if it wasnt relieved when you bore the cylinder it would eat pistons?
  17. Spacers are now on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=120218204678
  18. I run a set of Resleeved Patriot Racing Drag Ported 4 mill cylinders. They also use the cut domes instead of the spacer plate. They run pretty hard. 66mm (first bore) 4 mill 400cc's
  19. Some of them are cut so you can put them on with out taking the swing arm off.
  20. Patriot Racing Advertises a 90 hp Methanol stock stroke 350cc.
  21. My sub frame has a a little twist so I used my hangers off of my toomey pipes.
  22. I would go get 0000 steel wool insead of a sos pad. The 0000 is super fine so it doenst leave marks. I dip the pad in some acetone to help disolve the oil. Then give it a little polsh. I usually wipe the pipes down with acetone after I am done so it makes my cascade cpi's streek and finger print.
  23. Keihin doenst make a PWK 36mm. They made a PJ in that size though.
