  1. Wait until you have them change the transmission oil. That will probably run you 250+.
  2. May be you could drill and tap it. Thread a stanless steel allen head bolt in to the hole then cut it off. That way you would just have a little stainless steel stud sticking out to keep the domes from turning.
  3. the orings help keep dirt and sand from getting inbetween the rollers and pins.
  4. I run citgo 110. it is 5.25 a gallon. Local shop buys a truck load and they fill my barrel. What brand of fuel are you buying. That sound about right for VP (Very Pricey)
  5. No not nessessarly. You only need high octane fuel if you have higer compression. Some times race fuel will increase throttle responce. Try mixing a little 50/50 and see what you think.
  6. 10 points = 1 increase in octane number. If you mixed 1 gallon of 110 octane fuel to 4 gallons of 91 octane you would have 94.8 octane fuel If you mixed 2 gallon of 110 to 3 gallons of 91 you would be at 98.6 octane. 1 gallon of race fuel is 5-6 bucks if you get it from a place that sells it for an honest price. How much is a bottle of desent octane booster? Like 104+ octane booster 6-10 bucks. If you mix that 1 bottle of booster in 5 gallons of gas (wich would be 4x stronger than what the lable says. Most bottles treat 20 gallons of fuel). So that 1 bottle might up you 1 octane number (10 points). So 2 gallons of race fuel is a little more expensive than 1 bottle of octane booster, but the race fuel boost octane by 8 full numbers compaired to the 1 number that the booster does. Plus your burning a fuel instead of an aditive.
  7. Yep 2500 for the cases alone, but you keep the stock 6 speed. Override transmission so you dont even let of the gas or touch the clutch for WOT Shifting.
  8. Make sure you check the Head and Jug nuts after you ride it for a while.
  9. I trail ride in the Halsey National Forest in Nebraska. It is in the sand hills. The trails are 80% soft lomey sand, about like dunes. They do not allow paddles because they dig a lot worse than regular tires. I probalby wouldnt run them if i could because there isnt really any reason to tear up my stak trak extreems just trail riding. I save those for duning and drag racing. I figure the wide spaced out pattern of the I razr would work good in the sand. I could see the regular razr's working better on dirt. People say the I razrs wear out quckly. I am sure the do if you run them on hard surfaces. That usually happens on any tire with the lugs or tread spaced out farther. That is why a Mud tire on a Pickup wears fast if all you do is drive around town and on the highway.
  10. Yea get a G force axle from RMATV. 199 and that includes the lock nut. It is a wider axle so it will make your banshee more stable. 2 +2 wich means it is 2 in wider than stock on the narrow setting and an aditional 2 inches wider for a total of 4 inches on the widest setting.
  11. Your putting in a Hot Rods Long rod 4 mill stroker crank right You will need. 795 series pistons. (these are needed because the long rod crank has conecting rods 5mm longer than stock so you need pistons with the wrist pin moved up 5mm) Since you already have a cool head ditch the spacer plate and get a set of custom cut 4 mill stroker domes from Noss Machine. Since your adding 4 mm of stroke the piston falls down in to the cylinder 2mm farther and the top of the piston comes up 2mm farther. You can run a 2mm spacer plate so the head doesnt hit or you can get domes that are cut for the clearance. The stroker domes are 100% better way to go. Less chance of an air leak since you dont run the spacer plate. Porting to match your riding style. Make sure you tell them that your building a 4 mill so they port the cylinders for it and you will take full advantage of the 4 mill crank. josh

  13. Cant you make an atv street legal in wyo. When I go to cheyenne in the summer time I see people riding atvs on or around town with the street bike crowd.

  15. I just bought a set of Duro Hookups. Exact same tire as the I Razr without the Maxxis name or price.
  16. I have never herd of that before ethire. The only thing I could think of is on the splines to help take up some slop.
  17. A REAL 3 cylinder banshee starts out with this. That way you keep the manual 6 speed gear box instead of making a snowmobile with wheels.
  18. V Force 3's. The point of Reeds is to increase throttle responce, not double your hose power. With V force you have 2x as many reeds opeaning up half as much.
  19. Put your 15 tooth on. Then run the chain through it, then hook it up. you might try riding it sloly to see if the chain will wear a clearance. josh
  20. Almost all case savers allow you to run 1 tooth bigger in the front than stock. Stock is 14 so you should be ok. Get a TM Designworks, they are the best.
  21. Looks like you just need the conical washer to go inbetween the Knuckle and the heim joint. That would allow it to move.
  22. Alot of time the rubber and steel seperate on the stock hangers. Put 1 bolt through the steel and rubber to hold them together.
  23. Yea RK chains are good to. That is what I am running. I am running the 520xso wich is just the standard x ring chain. That one in the auction says it is a 520EXW. Same Chain lengths as the standard 520, and 520 x ring chain only with better sealing rings. The call the EW rings. The chain will be just silver in color. If you wanted a gold chain you need to put GB in front of the chain name. GB520EXW for the EW Ring or GB520xso for the gold x ring chain.
  24. Just drain the old stuff out. Then I would just get 2 quarts of cheap ATF Type F and put both of them in. Run it around easy for a little bit and drain it while it is still hot. That way the oil and water stayed mixed. You could do it a couple times if it makes you feel better.
