  1. Is that your 4 mill you just built?
  2. Came a cross these on ebay. Just thought I would share. I bet they run hard by how those intake ports look. They need thrown in the trash. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-YAMAHA...sspagenameZWDVW
  3. I just figure it might help the rings seat faster. As long as you got oil it isnt going to sieze.
  4. There was some good info on that page about spark plugs, heat ranges, and ignition timing. http://www.2wheelstuffs.blogspot.com/2005/...ing-part-3.html
  5. +6 and jumping dont really get along to well.
  6. I break my rebuild in with Quaker State or Penzoil 2 cycle mix.
  7. If you have an old weed eater you want to play with. Fill it up with some RC Car Fuel. 20-30% Nitro Methane, 15% oil and the rest is methanol. You dont have to worry about fouling the plug with that much oil because it will detonate and keep running like a diesel.
  8. I would run them like pictured above or just sell them and get a real intake. Boss racing makes one that has a built in internal crossover tube. It is also thick and it moves the carbs up and back so no reed spacers required.
  9. Reed Spacers are ment to go between the Jugs, and the Reed Cage. Hence the name Reed Spacer. Having them inbetween the carb boots and reed cages can't be real good for flow. You have the small round opeaing of the carb boot, then it goes to the big opean area of the spacer. Then Back down to the smaller square opeaining of the reed cage. You dont want any flat surface exposed or sticking out in the wind stream because that causes turbulance. Here is a pic from passion racings web page. He puts them inbetween the reeds and cylinders. http://www.passionracingengines.com/
  10. When they port the stock stroke cylinders they raise the ports x amount depending on the port job. When you put a 4 mill stroker crank in the piston falls down in the bore 2mm and comes up out of the bore 2 mm. Total of +4. When they port for the 4 mill they first lower the ports down 2mm, because the piston is 2 mm lower at BDC. Well you have your cylinders that have already have had the ports opeaned up, then you try to lower them for the stroker crank, now your ports are way to large and performance suffers. josh
  11. Boss makes a hell of a nice intake with buit in crossover tube.
  12. I lube my slides on my PWK33's with cable life lube. I have never had a problem with them sticking but it cant hurt especially since I run light tension slide springs. On the back of the can it says it works for carb slides too. josh
  13. FAST Clutch from Jeff at FAST Racing.
  14. I wouldnt try alky with a 2 in to 1. You ethier have to run billit bowls, or a pump with dual carbs. I dont think they make a billt bowl big engough for a single carb.
  15. Make sure when your done you have them chrome plated.
  16. That is my bro's 03 raptor, it is just piped and jetted. When it was mx ported with sst's or T5's it was about neck and neck. My 2003 LE Raptor is a 720cc +2mm bore, and +4 mill stroke. My raptor would eat my banshee above. Well my girlfriend started to like to ride so she got the easy to ride 4 stroke. I couldnt have my GF Riding a faster machine than me. That just isnt right. So I built a patriot racing drag ported 4 mill with CPI's. Now the Banshee is back on top like it should be.
  17. A 2006 LE Carbon Fiber grill would be cool too. I liked the 06 LE so much I made my 97 look like one.
  18. Here is my old black and Red Alba kit. If I had it to do over I would have gotten a red grill too.
  19. Yea Who is it. Nothing like some body else getting screwed because you didnt say any thing.
  20. I ran T5's when I first built my 4 mill drag ported stock cylinder. The T5's are deffinatly holding you back. It was a night and day difference between the T5's and CPI's that I am currently running. I thought maybe the T5's would have better midrange, I was wrong. josh
  21. Did you buy the crank bran new? Maybe somebody put on a Max load bearing or TZ bearing.
