  1. What kindo of Oring kit did you put in? I only run the Prodesign oring kits because they have special brownish color o rings for the domes. Maybe is was just a bad o ring. Look to see if any of them are pinched when you take it appart. Use a little vasoline on them when you put it back to gether. Helps keep the orings in place. josh
  2. I would just sepend the money on an Over Sized Radiator. I can let my banshee Idle all day in 100 deg weather and it wont overheat.
  3. Yea that is what I am talking about. If your not over heating then you probably need to lean it out. The engin's temp affects jetting just like the outside air temp. Mine does that when it gets up to 215-220 (hotter than it normaly runs) josh
  4. I like the look of full fenders. If you have to cut them just use a chain saw, It all looks the same.
  5. Yep cut the threads off. When I do a plug chop my plugs look bran new in the a pic like yours. You want to look for a smoke ring around the base of the center porcelin. josh
  6. The L things that slide in to the brass carb top adjusters is part of the cable so you wont have to worry about that. You just cant see it in the pic. Give jeff a call monday mouring and see what he can do. I bet he could match that price if no beat it. Plus you would be helping out a site sponcer and a guy you can talk to on the phone if need be. His web page shows starting at 142 and his sizes start at 33 so the 33's are probaby 142 or in the neighbor hood of there. http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=55 josh
  7. You will like the 33's. I run them with my mods in my sig. Here you go 329 for a pair of carbs with cable. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BANSHEE-CAR...sspagenameZWDVW
  8. yea I got mine from fast. they pull ezer than the stock carb setup.
  9. If i was in your shoes I would sell the 2:1 with the carb, cable, and air filter you will get more money out of it as a complete system. Then get you a set of Keihin PWK33's instead of the 35's. The 33's would suit your motor better. I would only run the 35's if you dune or drag 90% of the time. The 33's will give you better throttle responce and almost as much top end. I run 33's on my 400cc patriot racing drag ported 4mill. You can still use all the parts that you have bought. Intake and filters are the same size. jeff at fast will probably have the best price on the carbs new. Heck I would even send you my carb sync tool to use so u could put that 50 bucks twards the purchase of the carbs. josh
  10. I am on my palm in a motel so i cant find u any pics. Differences between an airstriker and non I cant see ur pic but i can see the 2 carb pic. They look to be non airstrikers. Non only has 2 carb vents. they are up twards the top of the carbs one on each side. you can see the one. you are lookin in to the vent. Airstrikers have 4 vents per carb. they have the 2 that the non's have and 2 that point up. the vent hoses go up and loop over to the other side. Airstrikers also have 2 wings on infront of the carb slide on the air filter side of the carb. They look like they help direct air under the slide. Non A.S. carbs dont have that.
  11. Yea it is a pingnel dual outlet. Yea it is a down side of not having a reserve. When I was running my stock stroke Mx ported cylinders with these dual 33's I just ran the stock setup. Since your banshee now only has a 2:1 you need to get a fuel line T. Run 1 hose from the petcock to the bottom of the T the out each side of the T to each carb. I switched to the dual outlet petcock when I swaped to 4mill drag ported cylinders and cpi's. Wanted to make sure the bowls of the carbs stay full. josh
  12. in2glamis is Inland Atv. http://www.inlandatv.com/PARTS.htm Just ask for a boss racing intake with internal crossover tube for 33-35mm carbs. I got mine from them and they were the cheapest. The intake lifts the carbs up and back so the LH carb doesnt hit on the clutch arm.
  13. I would keep the water bottle. Some people thow it away and run nothing. I guess it is your preferance. The bracket just bolts to where the back bolts of the air box are. That is why I said you can just cut the rear part of the air box off and that will be your bracket. I run the bracket with the spark plug holder. Kindof nice to keep a spair set under the seat. It has rubber seals to kee the threads and tip clean. Armadilo Water Bottle Bracket LINK Armidilo Water Bottle Bracket With Spark Plug Holder LINK Running pods on the carbs is the way to go. Makes jetting much easier. I got my Pod filters from Cascade Innovations. They are about right on on there price. They will seem a little higher than others but they are REAL K&N filters, not a no name cotton gause filter. If you just buy them on there web page they will send you the 20 deg ones so you should call them up and tell them that you want the 10 deg angle for 33-35 filters. K&N part number on the filters is RU-1090. K&N Pods from Cascade Innovations LINK KN Filters LINK josh
  14. You can loose it, Get an aluminum bracket, or cut the back of your stock air box off and use it as a bracket. The Boss racing intake from in2glamis is the one I am running with my PWK's. If you run this intake you will want Pod filters that have a 10 Deg angled flange. I tried the standard 20 deg angle flanges and they were angled way to much.
  15. I was just talking about the junk that builds up in the radiator over time. Your spring water probably is water that was purified by revese osmosis. Still 100x better than using water straight out of the tap.
  16. get you 2 gallons of distilled water. Drain the coolant, fill it back up with distilled water and run it for a little while. Repate this one more time. Then all the coolant is flushed out. You can flush the cooling system 2 times with one gallon of water. If you wanted to remove the build up get a bottle of Zerex Radiator Super Cleaner. It remove the build up pretty good. I would just run water and the cleaner for a day of riding. Give it a chance to work. josh http://www.valvoline.com/pages/products/pr....asp?product=15
  17. a wiseco piston kit from www.magicracing.com there kits come with new wrist pin berrings and they are supose to be a ballanced set. josh
  18. Word I try to jet or do plug chops at 190-200 deg. With the air temp being around 70-80 deg. When my motor gets up to 215-220 it richens up and is a dawg. It still runs might just spudder a little but I know it isnt like it should. The key is to try to jet your bike at the conditions that you ride in. I am normally in the 190 to 200 deg coolant temp with air temp at 80. I absolutly wouldnt run my motor over 230 That is over heating.
  19. Hopefully they are sticking all this broken garbage back in china's ass.
  20. That is how I built my 4 mill. Bought some cylinders from a member on here that were already ported for a 4 mill. They needed resleeved so I sent them back to the original porter (Patriot Racing) and had big bore sleeves installed. I got about 500 in the cylinder including the inital purchase and the resleeve and port matching. josh
  21. You dont have to get a port job. It will run with no problems on stock porting. You wont have near as big of a power gain without porting. A port job is when they opean up the ports. Make them taller, wider and different angles. When the piston slides down and uncovers a port that is what controls with the exhaust is expelled or when the fresh air and fuel come in to the cylinder. A port job on a 2 stroke not only improves flow it aslo changes when things happen. Porting a 2 stroke is like putting in a different cam in a 4 stroke. That is why it is verry important to know what your doing and not try to do it your self unless you really know what your doing. This is what I say to people that try do do there own home made port job. You wouldnt take a welder and grinder and make your own Hot Cam for your Car, Truck or 4 stroke atv would you? josh
  22. I have a pair of 65mm cylinders on ebay. Ebay Item #120276902416 I measured them with a dial calipar and it was at 65mm. The should be bored because one of the cylinders has some lite scratching due to a crank berring going out. The end in 15 hrs. Ebay auction LINK josh
