  1. Here is there web page. http://www.directdrivecnc.net/banqcm.html In this pic you can see the seams of a moded stock cover. I posted it so you could see how much they actually add. I just had my cover powdercoated black.
  2. I believe dajo said that there is 2 different sling shots. One replaces the stock pressure plate, that one fits under the stock cover. The other style uses the stock pressure plate and sticks out a little and requires a cover. That is the one that Dajo is using. Direct Drives new diecast cover also has a beefier area around the kick starter. The cover does stick out a little. I had to do a little grinding on the foot peg and tweeked the brake lever. Plus no vent or rubber plug in the water pump cavity.
  3. I just went and put a little grape in my dad's weed eater and leaf blower. See how long it takes before he says something.
  4. The PJ uses an oval shaped slide and the PWK's use a thinner D Shaped slide for Better throttle responce. The Idle adjustment on PWK's is a scew that lifts the slide, on the PJ's you have to turn the choak nob to set the idle. PWK's tune a little easier than PJ's. The Pj is just an older designe carb. It will work fine once you get it setup. The PWK's are just a new design that works better. Make sure you get a carb sync from fast. That will help you sync the idle ajustments, and carb top adjustmens a whole lot easier. josh
  5. Paul Turner Mid is going to be more comparable to a FMF Gnarly a bottom to mid range pipe. The Fattie is more of a Mid to top pipe. The SST is supose to be a higer mid to a little more top end pipe than the fatty.
  6. Yea klotz smells good, but this stuff is so strong smelling that it messes with peoples heads. Smelling Cotton candy or Grape out in the middle of no where. If you dont tell your buddies they will be scratching there heads trying to figureout what it is. I do it for more as a joke.
  7. I have the Boss Racing intake for 33-35mm carbs. I got it from in2glamis (Inland Atv) for 100 bucks. I dont know if they sell them for that price any more. I have seen / herd of some people buying them from a certian seller for 60 bucks. I dont know who the ebay seller is. White Knuckel Racing makes a similar intake only it has cross hairs in the intake thoat. It sells for 135 http://www.whiteknuckleracing.com/contents/en-us/d3.html Just make sure you select the right size. They have 3 different ones. I would PM Dajogejr first. He can get boss racing products at about rock bottom prices. He is a good guy to deal with, and very helpfull on the boards. Deffinatly not a fly by night guy. Here is boss's web page. It says 153 but I imagine dajo can do much better. After having it I would pay 153 for it if I had to though. It is a nice product and the rubber flanges can be replaced for about 10-15 buck each. http://www.bossatvracing.com/index.php?mai...eemrukklt3svdl4 josh
  8. Rebuilding a stock shock is a pice of cake. You unbolt it. Drop it in a cardboard box and send it to elka, works, Tcs, Pep. Couple of weeks later it shows back up. The aftermaket companys will valve and spring the stock shock for your weight, swing arm length, and riding style. Much better than just thowing new yamaha parts in there.
  9. Yea that is how I found it. The local stock car guys running methanol use that Top Power + top end lube in there menthanol. You could smell it pretty good from the grand stands.
  10. The Direct Drive Die Cast cover is a 100% new casting. Much better alternative than milling a stock cover down and welding or epoxying on the extension ring. The new direct drive 12 bolt lexans dont leak. You can also get an aluminum cover so you dont have to worry abou the clear lexan.
  11. What do you guys like? http://www.liquidhorsepower.com/fuel-fragrances.php I like the Grape or Cotton Candy. I dont run it all the time just do it for a joke. Or put some in a buddies tank and have him wondering if he is smelling stuff all day. It is pretty strong stuff. I ran some grape through my Raptor 660r. One of the guys I go riding with put a 4 mill stroker crank in it. The oil in the motor had the grape smell too. He was complinging of his hands smelling like grapes for a cople of days. josh
  12. Well if the best of both worlds is ON or OFF then it will. If all you do is dune or drag race then you should be ok.
  13. I would go with PWK 33's with a Boss Racing Billit Intake. If you were going to be running CPI's or Shearers I would go with PWK35's
  14. You intake is probably a White Knucle Racing. Those carb boots are the same exact ones dajo is talking about. The are the ones that my boss racing intake used. Just look at the outside lip where the carb goes in. It will have that part number. josh
  15. Here is a pic of my direct drive lockup clutch. The fingers fling out and push on the pressure plate it adds more clamping foce than what the springs alone can do. You HAVE to run a modded cover or direct drives new die cast cover with this style of lockup. A non modded stock cover doesnt have enough clearance for the fingers. The sling shot lock up can be run under a stock non moddified clutch cover.
  16. It would have to be moved out 2mm farther from the center of the crank shaft. That 2 mm will cause the piston to travel 2mm farther up the cylinder, and cause the piston to fall down 2mm farther in to the cylinder. Grand total of 4mm.
  17. i doubt he is getting 145hp out of it though. 100hp is a desent built 421 cub. After you bolt on a cub cylinder the HP you gain per dollar you spend drasticaly goes down. I am not real familiar with different drag setups and power out put. I am thinking that you would have to have a pretty worked up 10 mill stroker motor to hit 150 hp if you could even reach that. Isnt 130hp a desent number for a 10 mill?
  18. It is probably not a 425cc. A 421cc is a real common engine. Most of the time you see 421 cub. It uses a 68mm bore (+4mm over the stock 64mm Bore) and a +4 mill stroker crank. Stock stroke I belive is 54mm so a +4mill stroker crank would be 58mm. The Crank drops right in with no modifications to the cases. The cub cylinder is an aftermarket cylinder that is drag ported right out of the box.
  19. It also adds more torque because when you move the crank pin farter out from the center of the crank it gives the rods more leverage on the crank. It is like putting a cheater pipe on a wrench when you have a really tight bolt.
  20. Yep get a boss racing intake. They move the carbs up and back so they dont hit on the clutch arm. They make them for 28-30mm 33-35mm carbs. PM Dajogejr about getting one. He can hook you up. Here is my boss intake with PWK 33's.
  21. It is probably just a Mikuni carb boot. That is what my Boss Racing Intake uses for 33-35mm carbs. There should be a number on the out side lip. M-VM34-200 http://www.denniskirk.com/jsp/product_cata...tId=&mmyId=
  22. You could have at least got some PWK's instead of the PJ's.
  23. OEM Yamaha 2006 LE Banshee has a carbon fiber hood too.
  24. I would say if it didnt boil over your probably good to go.
  25. 513 is stock rod 795 is long rod 842 is Racers choice HP. It doesnt say weather it is for a long or regular rod. I would assume that they are for stock rods. I would try those pistons out. They probably have a little larger piston windows in them. http://www.wiseco.com/Catalogs/Powersports/YamahaATV.pdf josh
