  1. You could have used an old credit card to make a temp reed. I seen a video of it on a blaster on ebay. josh
  2. Kawi try a 155 main What needles do you have in it now. I would recomend cek's middle cip with 50 pilots. You really need a carb sync tool to set up the idle. That way you get them set the same. I found that my PJ's usually run a size or to larger on the pilots compaird to PWK's. I ran a 52 pilot with PJ's when I switched to PWK's on the same motor I ended up at 48. PJ's must like a little richer bottom end, maybe they dont pull as much fuel down low so they need richer settings. Same reason for the CEK's with the PJ, vs the CEL for the PWK. CEK is a little richer on the bottom end.
  3. You should look at the DMC Alien 916 system. It used a single silencer with dual out lets mounted under the grab bar. Pretty neat looking system. Dmc quit making it. You could probably find one used some time. It is a good system. More of a mid range pipe than the mid to top t5. http://www.atvsource.com/articles/product_...c_pipe_test.htm
  4. Yep you have to run a battery, and rewire your electrical system. Your banshee's head lights run on ac. HID lights have to run on dc current. So you have to convert the banshee's system to dc. Float the ground on the stator, wire up a regulator/rectifier and add a battery.
  5. You should get a port job too while your in there. Next biggest gain after pipes. josh
  6. Call Jeff at FAST. He can probably get you a Hot Rods crank for the price that vito's sells there crank for. I would go with a Long Rod Crank while your in there. The conecting rods are longer so the ange of the rod is reduced so there is less side to side load on the piston skirts. It is a 100% reliability mod. You dont get any more power. All you need is a set of Wiseco 795 Series Pistons. Or you could drop in a stroker
  7. Here you go. I think Rocky mountain might carry them too. http://www.tmdesignworks.com/xcart/customer/home.php?cat=255
  8. What part boke. Typical top chain brake, mounting bolts?
  9. I would start out at this 155 or 158 48 Pilot CEL Needles Middle clip Air scew 1.5 turns out Make sure you sync the carbs. What kind of intake are you going to run? I would sugest the boss racing because it lifts the carbs up and back so they dont hit on the clutch arm. josh
  10. Call trail tech they also rewire stators. They dont say banshee specifically but I am sure it could be done. josh
  11. I would go with the PWK33's if I was in your shoes, especialy since you say you dune 90% of the time. I ran them on my mx ported banshee with both fmf sst's and t5's. I now run them with the mods in my sig. If you dune 90% of the time you should look for a pair of cpi's
  12. I ordered asr's over ff because of the fact that asr's dont have hiem joints werer the lower a arm mount to the frame. trying to adjust the uppers and the lowers would be a pain in the butt.
  13. For the price it is going to cost to buy 2 spakies, you could sell your current silencers, and buy a set of FMF Turbine Core II's and have a way better flowing, and looking spark arrestor. Those Sparkies are hokey.
  14. I got a ricky stator 200w stator on now. Havent had any problems. If you want to try one get it from RS them selves. That way if you do have probems they will help make it right. I would hate to deal with vito's trying to get a replacement or refund. RS has good customer service. josh
  15. I have a Vapor on my banshee and the old Endurance on my raptor. Both work good. I have never had a problem with in accurate readings with speed. I have had my Endurance since 2004, and got my vapor this summer. I would get the Trail Tech Vapor. It has a lot of nice features. Speed Max Speed Max RPM Max Engine Temp Engine Temp with programable waring lights Tach with programable shift lights Total Accumulated Ride Time (hour meeter) Total Accumulated Ride Distance ( Odometer) Accumulated Ride time and distance (trip odo.) It is very picky on the install. I had a problem of mine reseting when I would hit the power band. It would just blink out. I herd guys say that you need to just hook it up to a 9v battery. I did that and it still was doing it. I ended up chaging the spark plugs. I have always run B8ES (non resistor) plugs. I put some BR8ES (resistor) plugs in and the problem went away. The electrical interfearance from the non resistor plugs were causing it to reset. I with the non resistor plugs I could unplug the tach pickup lead from the vapor and I would still get a rpm reading that is how much interfearance there was. I didnt bother hooking it back up to the banshee's stator for power. I figure it works how it is so I will just leave it. I have went all summer on the same 9v battery. You just get one of those terminals and wire to the power lead.
  16. Or hot carbon from the exhaust.
  17. TLD Oakley Gogles Alpine Star Tech 3's Oneal Helmit (would love to have a tld)
  18. Slobanshee06 is selling one in the for sale section.
  19. Is that one of those air knifes that had the long tube with a reciporcating blade inside the tube used to cut out windshields, back and quarter glass. We had one of those at the salvage yard and it sucked to run. Just like a giant vibrator that makes your hand go numb. I would rather use the thin wire, with two handles and saw back and fourth to cut it out.
  20. guess it is time to get something with a steering wheel. Rhino, Razr.
  21. Oury all the way. Rubber is so soft it sticks to your gloves. Feels like you rubber cemented your gloves to the grips.
  22. You could get the TM Desinge Works Slide N Guide kit. Comes with 2 power lip rollers Swing Arm Slider Rear Chain guide. The nice thing about there rear chain guide is it has 2 rollers in the bottom. http://www.tmdesignworks.com/xcart/customer/home.php?cat=305
  23. You will still see a performace increase with the PJ's there are guys running them on here. The PWK is just a newer designed carb.
