  1. Did you buy them new? Mine have a stainless steel screw with a stainless lock nut. I havent had a problem with mine. josh
  2. I would go with a noss head too. That way you can get domes that are more common. josh
  3. It will also work with PWK33's that is the intake tha I run. Moves the carbs up and back nicely so the LH carb doesnt hit on the clutch arm.
  4. $60 Bucks http://www.tmdesignworks.com/xcart/custome...=299&page=1
  5. I got 160's on my banshee. The Rears do OK but i usually seem to bend the outside lip on the fronts. I brush a tree. I dont even remeber where I do it at because it isnt that hard of a hit. Most of the time when you bend a rim you will KNOW or REMEBER exactly where it happend at. It just bends the lip out so I take a hammer or plastic dead blow hammer and tap it back. Get the 190's you shouldnt have a problem. You can also buy wheels tha have the rolled lip for strength like the stock wheels have. josh
  6. Like I said you can find both for cheaper or more expensive. Since the key does nothing more than locate the flywheel on the crank while you tighten it down. You could have saved even more money by installing it with no key at all. Just line it up so it is half a key off. You would have saved an aditonal 15 bucks. For a grand total of 35 dollars vs running a key and only saving 15. I could see people running a key if the only plate that was around what the $100 Pro Design Plate, but its not, you can get a 35 dollar cast one. Heck you can get a nice billit plate from Chariot for 50 bucks.
  7. I run some TM Designe works on my CPI"s. They have a rubber bushing inbetween the halfs and they also swivel around. Not much bling but tm doesnt make bling a priority over functionality.
  8. How about $20 and $35. If 15 bucks is going to break you then you should just sell your banshee now and be ahead in the money game. Both parts are from the same place so you can't say one is unfairly more expensive than the other one. I am sure you can find one or the other cheaper or more expensive. Vito's Key $19.95 LINK $35.00 Adjustable Timing Plate from Vito's LINK
  9. I think I might be down there that weekend. Does OK still have the 1 person per atv law?
  10. They dont deterorate and break in to pices like the stock platic one. They also have a better disigned impeller to pump the coolant faster / more efficantly. josh
  11. Just give jeff at fast a call. He will hook you up with prices better than ebay. www.farmandsandtoys.com
  12. Yep. I havent rode a stock ported 4 mill. I would emagine it would have about the same maners as a stock stroke only with a stroner mid range due to the more torque the stroker crank helps develop.
  13. My Pro Design radiator blows the doors off the Toarch Works.
  14. Hay thanks. Mine dont slip to gether very far compaired to my toomey and fmf pipes that I have had. Maybe 3/4 to 1 inch. Compaird to my toomey's and fmf's sliping together 1.5 inches or so. The nice thing about the front hangers is they swivel around. There is a rubber isolater bushing inbetween the hanger halfs as well. josh
  15. If you chose a 20 dollar key over a 35 dollar plate due to money then you should just sell your banshee now and be ahead in the money game.
  16. That is what happens when you try to save a few bucks. Some times it cost you more in repairs or longer down time. You going to try a mod quad one next and find out that the impeller shaft is soft. Then have it wear a grove in the shaft and leak coolant in to the transmission. Or you just going to get a Pro Design and be done with it.
  17. And the 2:1 pipe Almost forgot.
  18. From what I have read on here anybody can port a 2 stroke and you have to start some where. Lots of smilies so we all know it was a joke.
  19. They should slip in to each other. Mine do. I run the RIS pipe clamps. For the front hangers I run the TM Designworks. I do have to put spacers between the frame and the front hangers.
  20. Yea it has been bored before. Stock bore is 64.00mm. The last bore is 66mm or 66.50mm I cant rember. It kind of depends on how serious you are. A ported stock stroke banshee will have more power than a stock port with a 4 mill crank. Once you port your jugs for the stock stroke they cannot be ported for the 4 mill crank. You have to start over with a non ported pair of cylinders. If you are 100% sure your going to get it ported next year then I would do the 4 mill crank now and run stock porting, with the plan of getting it ported when you can afford it.
  21. I would go with the dune ported 4mill. If you port your jugs now for a stock stroke crank they cannot be ported later for a 4 mill crank. You will have to get another pair of cylinders if you decide to build a 4mill.
  22. cpi's would work good. If he wants a little more top end than the cpi's will offer then Shearer's would be the better choice. CPI's come on a little sooner, than the Shearer's but the Shearer's have more top end.
  23. You can get a new hot rods 4 mill long rod crank from jeff at fast for about the price that everyone else sells a standard stroke hot rods crank for. If your going to buy a new crank that is what I probably would do. If you looking to save some money then you could get a used stock crank. Do you have a cool head? If you do then you can just get a pair of stroker domes and not run the spacer plate inbetween the cylinders and cases.
  24. I was refering that as a joke too. I was refering to the common man doing his own bore job with an 80 grit hone instead of "paying a professional" to bore them to the next size. Sorry I forgot all the smilies in that post too.
  25. Or you could just get some 80 grit stones for a hone and do it your self. It can be done, more than likely your willing to pay a professional to bore the jugs. Just like I pay a professional to to do a port job. I am not necessarly paying for the work, but the KNOWLEDGE of the guy running the tools. josh
