  1. Usually they put the sleeves in a freezer and the cylinders in a oven. The sleeves just about drop right in.
  2. Not always. I had big bore sleeves put in a set of cylinders. They started out at 66mm and last bore was 68mm. The nice thing about them is they didnt choak the transfer ports. Maybe those are the ones you got. They would require a finish bore to be usable. You cant just slap in sleeves in and run them. They have to be bored to spec after being installed. How thick is the sleeve at the bottom of the cylinder Measure it on the side of the transfer ports. That might give you some kind of Idea. josh
  3. Pump gas is Pump gas dont let any advertisements tell you different. I guess I dont see how enriching fuel with a Non Flamable, Non Oxidizing, Inert gas improve performance. I thought the whole idea of getting better performance was to get fuel in to the cylinder along with Oxygen wich suports combustion vs Nitrogen which doesnt.
  4. I would go with the 20x10x10 tires on 10in rim in the back. Less side wall will give you less tire role. I would only go with 22's if your needing more ground clearance. I run a dished out wheel in the front of my shee to make it a little wider. Here are some pic's of the front wheels. I would deffintaly get the red lable's with the rolled lip. The rears are 20X10X10 kenda klaws
  5. If the bearings feel good then. I would call jeff at FAST and explain to him what you have. He would should be able to press it back together and true it up and tig weld it so it doesn't seperate or twist out of phase. Yea you could press it back together and weld it your self but if it isn't true or in phase you could get a nasty vibration. Jeff is a good guy to do business with. I will let you ride my banshee so you can see what you think of his port work. His screen name on here is FASTOYS www.farmandsandtoys.com Josh
  6. I think I would try a Ricks Electric Motor Sports Stator. The pickup coil looks to be made differently. The housing is different shape. The Rick Stator and RM stator's all look to have the same pickup. There stator is about the most expensive stator out there other than a new oem. I would only buy it from them though so if you have warrenty issues your not trying to deal with a 3 rd party member on ebay. Ricks seems to be a mom and pop shop for now. Kind of like how ricky stator started out as. http://www.ricksmotorsportelectrics.com/pr...DRZYW1ZRlozNTA= http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...sspagenameZWDVW
  7. Do you know what needles were in the PJ's when you had them on the drag port and it was ripping around? If it isnt pulling as hard on the top end then it probably isnt the pilot. You can try a mian jet change.
  8. I would say you probably need to cut down the pilot to at least a 48 if not a 45. What needles were in the PJ's and wich ones do you have in the PWK's.
  9. Oury all the way. They are super sticky and soft. I don't buy grips that last long, I buy ones that are soft and comfortable. If you want long lasting grips then buy some billit ones and let us know how your hands feel at the end of the day.
  10. I currently have a can of klotz air filter cleaner and a can of klotz fabric air filter oil. The cleaner took k&n's oil right out of the filter. It comes in a aerosol can so no more pumping. The oil is a light green or blue. The dye isn't verry strong so it is hard to tell when you have enough on. I ended up way over oiling my filters. Maxima has a fab1 foam and fabric oil. I have used it on foam filters. I wouldn't use it on a fabric filter. It is so sticky I don't think you would ever get it out. I think I am going to stick with klotz cleaner and k&n oil.

  12. A dc converision is only worth it if your going to run hid lights. I wouldnt even try ricky stator. They would probably keep your stock stator and send you a 200w stator. Call trail tech they rewinde stators.
  13. Me too. I bet it doesnt take much riding time before they start to look like an old crusty Dodge Ram grill. Nothing like a Bubbly Chrome Plated Plastic Grill.
  14. wiseco pistons all the way. Long rod 4 mill will need a wiseco 795 series piston Sort rod 4 mill will be able to run the standard series banshee pistons.
  15. Looks like the big dog top fuel dragsters at night
  16. I run it in my HPI Savage 4.6 as well. They are both 2 stroke engines. It would work if you know what your doing. 3+ HP out of a .28 cubic inch or 4.6cc engine. Imagine what kind of HP you would get out of a 535.
  17. I would go with a pair of pwk 33's. You have a mid to top end port job. If you had a mx port and were after low end then I woul be looking at 28's
  18. I would start out at a 165 main and it would still be plenty rich. Pilot sounds close for PJ's when I ran PJ's they seemed to like a little bigger pilot than thw pwk's What are you going to run for needles? I ran CEK's with my PJ34's
  19. I run a stock transmission with my lockup and all is well. I wouldnt run any HD springs with a lockup. Let it do the work not the HD springs. Pluse I like how is slips out of the hole.
  20. Yea pods and clamp on filters are the same thing. I dont know how much of a difference there is in power but it makes taking the carbs off to jet them much easier. I hated wrestling with the stock air box. josh
  21. What about the kick starter. That is the most common banshee jingle
  22. Yea a port job is night and day difference. It is as big of a difference as going from stock pipes to aftermarket. Do you plan on only drag racing? If you just drag for fun and do other types of riding I would go for a dune port. I had a stock cylinder 4 mill drag ported. I could ride it in the trails ok but I got tired of having absolutly no low end and ok mid range. I am now running a 4mill dune port with cpi's and the midrange pull is much better, and it has a great top end. Then again one mans drag port is another mans dune port. It just depends on the builder. josh
  23. How many turns out is your air screw? I would try doing a plug chop with your 162's and do a long wot run. I run mine down a back road for about a mile or so at wot. It gives the plugs a little more time to color. I am also running a klotz supertechiniplate and get nice brown rings. josh
  24. Those cases are purdy. Bump for a good guy. I bought a pair of cylinders from banshee332 good guy to deal with.
