The largest motor they put in is a V-6 with 202 horses. Not a fast vehicle, but its a bull down low.

Best site on the web! Best members. I've posted about just about everything and have learned alot from all the replies. Shit, I asked about chandilier (SP?) instalation, cooking fish on the grill, fish pond filtration questions, family friend winning a UFC title, boasted about my sons' wrestling accomplishments, grand nationals, jeeps and of course many, many Banshee questions. I've fixed EVERYTHING on my shees' from all of you good folks helping hands. Purchased alot of parts from our members and a few Banshees as well. Love this site. Bob -
Thanks for the replies. I've been lurking on the turbo buick website for a few years now Wes. Just made my first post the other day. Very informative site as well. Any tips on what I should look for as problem areas on these cars? Thanks again. Bob

I've narrowed it down to the GN or a new Camaro. Was thinking about an 02 Ram air Trans am, too gaudy for my taste. Nice ride though. I've had an 80 Vette, 79 Trans Am, 85 Z-28, and an old Plymouth Fury with a 440 police interceptor. Probably the fastest ride I've had. I've read GM may come out with a new Z-28. Gonna take my time.

Thanks Matt. I've always wanted one. Have some extra funds available, gonna start the search process soon. T-Tops are a must.

What Was You First Time Like?

We actually started on 2 old YFM 80's, bought from my neighbor. We meaning me riding my kids on em. Cruised on some trails at my brother in laws. Then he bought a Honda 200 with shocks and I was like a quad with shocks and a light? WTF!! So I bought a Trail blazer in 98, new. We werent into speed records, just kinda cruising on some trails, tent camping with the kids and having some frosties, AND the thing rides like a caddilac so it was all good. (Still have it, the wife loves it) Then I was cruising around with my brother in law, who just up graded to a blaster and my kids on the 2 80s when 2 chicks on warriors blasted by me on a hill climb. I bought a Banshee the next week and still have it. (July 4 1999) I now have three. Gave my youngest son the original 99, I have the 94 in the sig and my oldest has an 02. Seems to be getting crazier. Cool old thread. -
Looking for a new vehicle. Gonna get rid of the wifes 01 Durango. Looking at the wrangler unlimited. We liked the Islander package but hated the Islander sticker. No biggie, I'll just rip it off. Do all unlimited's not have power mirrors? I forgot to ask the salesman. We took 2 for a ride, a hard top black sahara and a soft top silver islander. Doesn't have the balls of her Durango and is a bit bumpier but its all good. Any likes/dislikes? I thought I'd ask us here at the HQ cuz I ALWAYS get outstanding insight. All input is much appreciated. Thanx, Bob

I replaced the half shaft on the drivers side on our 2000 Frontier 4X4 today and it was a royal pain in the arse. I read my chiltons and it called for pulling the motor for crying out loud! I wound up pulling the upper and lower a-arms and it basically took me all day. Also I'm not totally convinced that the snap ring is holding the shaft in place. Anyone else have a better way to do this? I'm sure the passenger side is next and I'm NOT looking forward to it. Thanks, Bob

Well my youngest sons' wrestling season is over. He had an outstanding run as a Junior. I'm ultra proud of him. Made it to a round away from placing at states here in NJ, so top 12. NJ is the top 3 in the country for recruiting for college so he's gotta pick it up a bit. Anyway, Banshee season is here. Gonna rebuild his shee and mine. Not sure what I'm getting at other than I'm back and I'm pretty proud of my youngest -"Bubba". A real tough ass. Wrestled the last month with a blown out back and still kicked ass.

Yeah have the chicks PARENTS pay you for her fuck up. You shoulda got off your ass if you have that much dough tied up in your bike and made sure the garage was closed. Your engine should be sealed anyway. -
Fedor being a bit pudgy makes this whole scenerio very much scarier. He could absolutley make 205. Hes pretty much training and eating. Not watching his diet much. I wrestled in HS and College and can tell you a normal person has to diet, train and sleep. If you are such a physical specimen that you can cut out diet and eat as you wish, by that I mean healthy choices, not burgers, pizza etc., then train at full steam then you are at a huge advantage. Fedor is 1 in a millon. Smaller HW but tough as hell. He will go to the way side. Once his reflexes go so will he invincibiliy. Just look at Roy Jones. Awesome physical specimen, once he slowed a bit, we all saw what happened.

2004 YFZSHEE YFZ450 WITH BANSHEE $7,000
Toomey Banshee replied to Pedro's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Banshees' a Banshee, 450s' a 450. -
agreed, dont buy the fmf, toomey jet kits. Go on ebay. I bought a huge assortment of mains with a rubber carry case and a jet hex remover from e-bay for about 50 bux. I wound up buying a few pilots from members here for a good price too. Once you figure out what you need you can really pick and choose.

Fedor is the man, no doubt. I cant help but think though, Brock is a wrestler. His stand up has improved at an excelerated rate. He is a VERY quick learner and the guy is just friggin huge. I watched a replay of the fight of Brock and Randy and Brocks head looked about as big as Randys entire upper body for fuk sakes. Fedors last fight he got rocked a few times and I cant help but think that if Lesnar tagged Fedor more than once it would be a very bad thing for the Ruskie. Lesnar on the ground, if he learns a few decent submissions and if continues to improve on his feet will be a handful to beat.

Stock performance modification packages. I.E.- modded shift star, lightened flywheel, V-Force, tors removal kit, pods for stockers, cool head, o-rings, advanced timing plate, pistons. You could offer a few different packages, a rebuild package with some pistons and everything listed above. Or mix and match type of kits. Nobody has anything like that yet.

Sounds good to me Dave. That fight would/will be the biggest to date in the UFC. Hopefully it lives up to its billing.

First off Brock would not lose to Fedor. Now onto to Kimbo. Kimbo has a lot of catching up to do. Ground work is hard to pick up a 30+ years old. He has knock out power but his chin is very suspect judging the Petruzellii (sp)? fight. Kimbo seems like a cool dude but it looks like he was schooled how to act in front of the camera by Rampage. Being that Kimbo did come from shit and has pulled himself out I give him a lot of respect though. Just cant judge how good of a dude he is by short edited clips.

I did my 99 in the spring. I just put it on its side so the shifter is facing up. Took off the footpeg and the shifter. Used a pick to get the old seal out and slid the new one on. Simple fix.
