  1. Yup, they look stock with the TORS removed. Take those things out and clean the shit out of them. 8)
  2. The quickest way is to loosen the carb tops and remove the slides from the carbs, place the slides/needles out of the way, next loosen the clamps that are around the rubber boots on both carbs that go from the intakes (Motor) to the air box and then just turn the carbs in the boots towards you so you can remove the float bowl. Take off the float bowl and spray the crap out of the carbs with a good carb spray from the auto parts store, spray your needle and the whole carb in general. Get it as clean as you can and then just put it back together. Make absolute sure you put the right slide in the the right carb and the left slide in the left carb or your bike wont run. Shouldnt take more than 30-45 minutes. 8)
  3. hmmm, Toomey. I didnt even know they made a clutch kit. I'll probably go with the Toomey or the Barnett. Thanx for the help. 8)
  4. What is the best clutch? Gonna put one in the next week or so, need some info on which is the best one. Also, is it a hard install? Thanx. 8)
  5. pipes make a HUGE difference. Get a good filter set up first though, like the pro design if you want to keep your stock air box or the Toomey air filter system, after that up the compression by either milling your stock head or by getting a cool head. The order I would do things is; 1. Air filter 2. pipes 3. better rear tires 4. cool head/milled head
  6. Get water wetter and add to your coolant. Cheap and works great.
  7. Well 37 for now, 38 april 29th. Man, just looking at that age makes me actually feel old. Now when does the knowledge part start to soak in?
  8. I am in WAY deep. Just built a new home. Still paying on the wifes' 2001 Durango. Have six quads. Getting extremely crazy with the whole Banshee thing. Does this ring a bell? "I'll just get a Banshee I guess, I dont need to do anything to it, they're fast enough, I dont care if I beat anyone, just owning a Banshee will be enough for me" HAHAHAHAHAH, yeah right. It just never ends. 8) Oh, my signature used to say "99 red Banshee"
  9. From what I understand Toomeys are the best on a basically stock motor, CPI's are good on a stock motor as well but really shine on a ported, modified motor. 8)
  10. Count me in on the group deal! I have a few things I want and I'm sure others would like them as well. How bout a few Vito's heads or some V-force and just for shits and giggles why not some T-6's or CPI'S?! 8)
  11. I too only rode occasionally when my kids were younger. Now I have 2 built in riding buddies. My oldest is 13 and has a blaster and my youngest is 9 and has a mini raptor 80. Of course they are always ready to ride a few hours a day whenever I get some time off. This summer we were pretty fortunate and rode once or twice a week. When they were younger I was in the once a month club too. 8)
