  1. I have a 99 that I bought new. Same top end, compression is still good.
  2. If your clutch is working dont replace it. As far as the carbs go the stockers are actually pretty good, they outflow a stock motor, so with your intended porting you could get away with boring your stockers for now. Get some CPI's if you get a chance, they really perform well with a ported motor.
  3. Yup, agreed, port and polish, Wiseco pro lites, welded crank, CPI's, 33-35 carbs, go up a tooth on the front sprocket to a 15 toother and drop the domes on your cool head down to about 17's. Should be one hell of a bike when its done.
  4. Yup, you are absolutely right reas. Lots of meaningless posts of late. Pretty annoying.
  5. I have the pro design as well but with the foam filters, no air box lid. No problems in the 3 years I have been running this set up.
  6. Meats website has pics and directions. www.thebansheezone.com Great site.
  7. Yup, found it, thanx, you saved me a few bucks.
  8. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Is this for real? Just ride the damn thing and stop talking about it!
  9. yup, thats what I was looking for, Thanx, LED.
  10. I know I posted this last week but I was looking at it again and was wondering if anybody in here bought this plate. Good quality? Can I find one cheaper? I know most others are about 100 bucks or so. Good buy or not? Lemme know what you all think. Thanx. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2446206184
  11. I remember a few months back somebody on here was selling case savers to BHQ members at an outstanding price, delivery and all. If anybody has that info, please pass it along here. Thanx.
  12. It was stolen at one time. Thats the only reason someone would go through the trouble of grinding the vin off of both the engine and the frame.
  13. bud a guy your size needs alot more to go fast. a Banshee weighs about 400 pounds with gas and oil, you're 280, thats almost 700 pounds that thing has to get rolling. A dirt bike weigs alot less and the power in those things is just awesome. Oh, and I like the Heckler and Koch in your avitar. P7M8? Nice weapon.
  14. I didnt have to change my jetting at all for my V-Force. Some people have had to up their pilot a size or two.
  15. I would guess the white part goes on top of everything else as well. Since you ditched the stock reed stops maybe this replaces those? Like Banchetta said, there should be no space between the reeds and the cage. Are you sure its 2 pieces? It looks like the white piece, the transparrent larger part of the reed and the black reed pedals.
  16. Yes they are still around and yes they are cheaper now.
  17. Raps are fast, no doubt. You'll win though. Start in second and hammer the throttle, power shift the whole way. You should win by a few bikes (1-3) Dont forget, they are almost twice your displacement, so dont take the Raps for granted.
  18. Anybody ever buy anything from this guy? Does this timing plate look good? Good deal? The trinity is 100 bucks and all it looks like the difference is is the Trinity is polished. Thanx, I hope it comes up. numb NEW ADJUSTABLE TIMING PLATE YAMAHA BANSHEE Item number: 2444881025 er: 2444881025
