  1. Yup, The shee is the way to go. I was thinking that same thing today as I was riding my "new" 94 and my oldest son was riding the 99 I gave him. Shee is the real deal.
  2. Would like some good sand tires and rims. Let me know what you all have and the prices and maybe we can make a deal.
  3. Rode the beast for the first time today, my 94, anyway dragged a piped rap about 4 or 5 times smoked it more each time, his friend had a piped 450 and I really wanted to race him, as I have heard piped 450's are nasty, anyway he just kinda faded into the sunset. Kind of disappointing. Maybe next weekend.
  4. I went to college for the wrong reasons. I thought wrestling was the light. Man, what do you do when wrestling is over? I'll answer that, FIND A JOB MOFO!!. Luckily I landed on my feet and work a pretty good job, worked nights a good portion of my time but its finally starting to pay off. My advise, stay in school, screw this riding shit for now and STUDY, you have your whole life to ride, believe me. Make it work for you, dont you work for it (Life).
  5. V-Force on e-bay. I bought a brand new set last spring on there for 175 bills. Someone in here is selling a set with about 10 hours on them for about 150 bux. Keep looking. V-Force works though.
  6. I would do it in this order 1. Air filter, Toomey 2 into 1 or a pro design plate with either a foam filter or a K and N or two K and N filters. The stock air filter sucks and will damage your engine. 2. Pipes, depending on your riding preferences there are many choices. CPI's for the dunes along with Toomeys. Pro Circuit makes a great all purpose pipe, for both dunes (wide open) and trails, and FMF Gnarlies for the woods/trails. They have alot of low end power 3. Better rear tires, the stockers just spin. After your pipes the most noticiable improvement is tires in my opinion, until you get her ported and polished. 4. Cool head with smaller domes, 21's at sea level is still pump fuel, 20's should be a mixture of race and pump , anything under 20's you should really run straight race.
  7. Thanx for the replies. Willie, riding skills? Pretty fucking funny. I have toasted more than 1 ported/polished blah blah banshee on my 99 stocker with pipes. The last few times I was your way your shit "wasnt running" Anyway, its all good. Let me know about the trails to Forked river, maybe it'll come out by my place. Let me know, its riding season, wrestling is over and we have to hook up. How is that new Passion motor treating you? Talk to you soon.
  8. They dont do anything. Take it off and throw on your stock cross over tube and be done with it.
  9. My 94, I was told by its previous owner (a good friend of mine) was broken in and run strictly on Motul 800. It is very hard to find around me. Its a full synthetic. I was told by the local dealer that I can run HR1 by Bel Ray (which too is a full synthetic) and it is very compatable. Would it be safe to make the switch after this tank with the Motul is gone? HR1 is available here by all the shops in my area. Will my life be easier or do I still have to run the Motul? Thanx.
  10. Hey like the Farley avitar. He was one funny dude.
  11. 240's sound way small. On my 99 with T-5's and pro design air filter at sea level I run 310's.
  12. Well, if your gonna get her ported I would suggest getting larger carbs to start with and holding onto them until she is ported. Larger meaning 30mm up to about 32's or 33's. When she is finally ported you can sell your 26's on e-bay. The stock 26 actually out flows a stock motor. They are actually a very good carb. If you want a larger carb now just have your stockers bored out to 28's.
  13. No helmets = stupid. Just begging to be scrambled.
  14. Ok, is it me or is this Ninja reincarnated with a new name?
  15. How do I clear an old pic that I posted awhile back. Its kind of hard to explain. The pic. is still in my browser (I'm not a computer guy) so everytime I try to post another pic the old pic, that I already posted still shows up. Any help for a computer idiot is appreciated.
  16. Throw on a cool head of some sort and bump up your compression to around 160-165 lbs, increase your timing and you'll really be hooked. Until of course you get her ported and polished. Good luck.
  17. man, everything is going around real fast after reading that message. I dont feel too goooo BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. J/K.
  18. I have a trick I have used. Use clear ammonia. My snow blower was all fucked up, carb gunked and what not. I sprayed it good with carb cleaner, and I mean REAL good, not even CLOSE to starting. I ripped the carb off, soaked it in ammonia for about an hour or so and it started right up. Ammonia is the strongest stuff you buy out there right now to remove stubborn gunk. Trust me.
  19. You HAVE to rejet before you ride with new pipes. If not your motor will blow. What size jets did they give you? The number should be stamped on the top of them. What is your elevation and temp. there? Let us know and we'll givbe you a hand.
  20. One last question, are they held on dirt, grass or asphault?
  21. Come on in. Been awhile. Stop in and in and lets chat a bit.
