  1. Looking for a good shee for my neighbor here in Jersey. No hunks of crap please. PM me if you have or know of anything. Thanx, Bob
  2. Yup Boon, smells like shit, burnt oil. I didnt get a chance to take a look at her today, it was my last day of vacation, hit the beach. I'm off next Fri, Sat and Sun, tear into her then. Oh well, upgrade time for the boys' shee. He better not be faster than me when I'm done with it though. I will, without a doubt be posting next weekend, asking for all the help that you all can give me with this mess. Looks like a real pain in the arss to replace the seals and whatnot. Gonna do the top end while its down too.
  3. Let me clarify, the smoke is coming from the right, or throttle side of the bike. Same issue typically? Thanx.
  4. Yup, it smells like burnt oil coming out of the right pipe. I assume I have to split the case to get at the crank to replace the seal, right? Big job? I havent done this yet, just basic stuff to date. I'm looking at my clymer and it looks like its gonna really suck. Guess I'll just have the crank trued and welded while its out, so thats good I guess. Man this sux, two shees down in one day.
  5. As if My little problem I referenced in my last post about my ripped carb boot wasnt enough, my son on the 99 banshee just got back from a ride in the trails behind my house and the shee was spewing white smoke from the right pipe. WTF is that? I'm assuming the top end needs a rebuild as its still stock from when I bought it new in 99. Other than that what is that smoke? Coolant leak? I'll tear into it tomorrow and take a look. Any ideas on what the problem is? Thanx.
  6. Went riding today and the shee was ideling high . I didnt think much of it and rode for about half hour. Of course during that half hour of riding I'm trying to figure WTF is wrong. Got to a pit and just started going through the carbs etc. to see what the problem was. Messed with the air screws, no help which told me it was an air leak. Messed around a bit more and noticed the carb boot on the left carb was ripped by where the tab is on the top. I have stock boots with 33 carbs so that right there is the problem. I didnt notice any dirt and whatnot around the rip as it wasnt dusty at all with the rain we just got. I'm hoping I didnt do any damage to the cylinder from the lean condition or any debris that may have entered through the rip. Just thought I'd share, I ordered the proper boots through Magic racing and it'll give me a chance to put in the V-Force I have sitting around. Anyone have any experience with the larger intake boots with the boost bottle attached? Is it worth the cabbage?
  7. loco is right on. I just rejetted a friend of my sons shee last weekend and thats exactly as I remember it as well. 1 cross over tube, 1 fuel line each carb and two vent tubes.
  8. You beat me too it Banshee04, I would say its the emergencey brake switch as well. Unplug that and your TORS and you should be good to go.
  9. I havent had any experience with Rockets but Minkina sells em. Everybody in here that has purchased the Rockets loves them and says Minkina is outstanding to deal with. Shoot him a PM.
  10. I just bought a rear set of Razrs with Douglas red labels. My shee is pretty much black with some chrome, CPI's etc. My question is, what can I use to get rid of the "Razr" red and yellow logo on the tires? i.e. some type of paint or marker of some sort. I just put my front bandits on douglas red lables as well and my shee looks pretty good. I'm pretty happy. I'll post some pics when I get back to work next week and glom the digi camera. Thanx in advance.
  11. Just a few things, I dont like people touching my shit, any of you homos touch my shit, I'll kill you. And I dont like to be touched, any of you homos touch me, I'll kill you. Oh, and I dont like being called Francis, any of you homos call me Francis, I'll kill you.
  12. My sons Blaster has a Toomey Pipe, V-Force and we run a 310 main, stock pilot. FOrget what the needle clip positon is.
  13. Go to www.Treadepot.com. I just ordered Razrs rears, 20X11X9's on Douglas blue labels. 200 bucks shipped to my door. Pretty good deal. The stealership wanted 280.
  14. Anyone know the stock compression? I think my youngest sons' Blaster may be in need of a top end. Thanx.
  15. hmmmmmmm, emulsion tube , cross over tube is more like it. I would suggest you get new clamps ASAP. You dont want any crud in your carbs.
  16. I liked the Razrs so much on the 99 I gave my son that I just ordered a new rear set along with some polished Douglas 190's for my 94.
  17. Sooooooooooooooo. What? Is there an update?!!! 1700 ballons is an outstanding price for what was described. How did shee run? Was it worth it? Man, let us know. I know it sux screwing up your ride, but I need the info.
  18. THe dude in the PT ran the light. The pedestrian got rolled on. Maybe if he just stood still he wouldnt have gotten hit. If he ran the opposite way he would have made it. Man, sux to be him.
  19. I have a bike with Toomeys and one with CPI's. Both are totally different bikes, i.e. the one with CPI's has some engine work done etc and the one with the Toomeys is stock except for V-Force. I would suggest going with CPI's. They work well with a stock motor, and when you get around to porting and polishing it the CPI's outshine the Toomeys. Also, If you are looking for a high end pipe I would suggest going UP a tooth from stock on the front sprocket, from 14 to 15, this will enhance your pipes greatly, especially the ones you are considering. Good luck with your choice, you wont be disappointed with any pipe choice that were previously mentioned.
  20. I put a 15 tooth on my sons 99 and its a great improvement. Really helped, but anything was good compared to the 1/1000" teeth that were left on the old sprocket. By the way Logo, congrats on having your shee in dirtwheels. Looks outstanding.
