  1. Cut a piece of Chain link fence, put some tires or cinder blocks on top of the fence, tie it to the Trail Blazer and have at it.
  2. If I wanted any lip from you I scrape it off my dick.
  3. CPI's are good a good top end pipe too. A friend of mine has a set of Pro Circuits and they are a really bad ass pipe as well. Pretty close with my 99 which has Toomeys. Pro Circuits are probably the least expensive of the lot to boot.
  4. FYI, Dynojet needles ARE Toomey needles. As far as do you need to change them, in 2000 I put the Toomeys on my 99 Shee and I changed the whole deal, mains and needles. Havent had any problems with it to date. Dynojets needles are somewhat thicker than stockers, performance wise I couldnt tell you. Just ran the Dyno needles from the get go.
  5. My daughter AND my wifes' birthday are both on Sunday. When my daughter was born I immediately advised the wife she had officially lost her birthday.
  6. Is it breaking upon acceleration? Or is it backfiring? If its breaking up, lower your needle a notch, as far as backfiring, check your plugs, sounds stupid but make sure the caps on top of the plugs are on tight.
  7. BennBB has a jetting faq floating around in here. Read it, learn it, live it. He's the man when it comes to jetting.
  8. Yup agreed, noss head with 20cc domes. You should be able to do this in under an hour, not hard at all. I would suggest getting CPI's, T-5's or Rockets for your type of riding. Keep in mind the CPI's and Rockets will work good on a stock motor but when you get her ported, which you will, trust me, the CPI's and Rockets will outshine just about anything else. Also I would use the paddles as a second tire, get some good all purpose rears, i.e. Razrs, Holeshots. As far as sprockets go, go up a tooth on the front to a 15. Real nice improvement over the stock 14, IMHO. Whatever you do, DONT FORGET TO TRASH YOUR STOCK AIR FILTER SYSTEM, IT SUCKS! Get a Toomey 2-1 or a pro design plate with the foam or K&N filter. That should last you awhile with just those mods that can be done on a weekend afternoon while consuming some adult beverages.
  9. Pipes (and jets), 600 bucks, new air filter, about 100 bucks, tires, about 100 bucks, cool head and domes, about 300 bucks. You should be good to go for awhile.
  10. I run 17/41 on my 94. It feels like its gonna frigging take off when I hit 4th. Try it, thats the only way you'll know.
  11. Get a decent used, reliable truck and keep your shee.
  12. What do you mean its not starting? Is it trying to start and then dying? Are you kicking and nothing? Did you put the slides in the correct carbs. What about your TORS. I suggest you just disconnect the connection as well as the parking brake. New plugs. Are you getting spark? Need some more info.
  13. Hey congrats! Remember one thing though, it'll never be fast enough or shiny enough. And for some odd reason they multiply, one is nice, more is better. Good luck and do what I did when I first got my shee in 99, read this site, front to back, back to front. Lots of very knowledgable people in here and everyone is willing to help. Any questions, look on the search function and if you cant find it or want it clarified, just ask.
  14. Cool head with smaller domes to up your compression.
  15. I know its not a 4 stroke but we have a 98 Trailblazer 250 and it is the most comfy quad I have ridden. No shifting, real cushy suspension, slow as balls but who cares if your just out to cruise around and mellow out after going balls to the wall on the shee. A few weeks ago I spent the day on the shee with my sons at the local pit. Came home, did some grillin and chillin then went for a night ride in the woods behind my house on the trails with the boys and it was outstanding. No bashing please, but we all like that thing.
  16. Get some bigger carbs bud. It'll help alot. 33's are good with your setup.
  17. Yup, thats the way we run our 99. Leaned out the clip a notch and it runs real strong. As far as your mains, you are gonna have to do a plug check and see how they look. Throw in a set of new plugs, run it at WOT, pull in the clutch and coast to a stop. Look at your plugs. Should look chocolate brown. Anything lighter, your mains are too small. I would just go up a size until it bogs and then down to the next size. I.E. if it runs good with a 300, bogs with a 310, then it should be good with a 300. As far as your pilot, stock is a 27.5, if it idles good, no need to change it. I still run the stock pilot in the 99 with V-Force reeds.
  18. Yup, sorry if I threw you. I said move the needle down one clip by moving the actual clip up one. If that makes any sense.
  19. 280's may be fine, although move the clip up one and drop the needle. Just unscrew the brass looking holders on the sides of the carbs and unscrew the carb tops and remove the assembly. Be careful not to switch the slides though. Do one at a time. Not hard to do.
  20. Did you say you have "stock" jets in there? If so, they are I think 200's. With T-5's you need at the very least 280's. I have 320's in my son's 99 and he has basically the same mods. Whats your elevation and temp? If I were you, I would unplug the tors and parking break and jet way up. Start at about 300's, buy a set or two of plugs and work your way up or down on the jetting.
  21. How many of us feel like this? I cant friggin stand to even LOOK at my shee if its running like shit. Lose a few drags with my buds, running crappy, breaking up etc. Dont even wanna look at it. BUT, when its running the way I think it should run, I cant wait to get it back out there and find another victim to race, or just plain ride, and act like an idiot. As a matter of fact, get this, I'll even go OUT OF MY WAY to take a peek at her in the garage. (is that sick?) When shee is running right she gets cleaned up real good, polished, whatnot. When shee is running like dick shee can JUST STAY DIRTY, BITCH!! Oh well, this week, I like her, next I dont know.
  22. Anyone running this set up? My neighbors son just ordered it and I'm gonna put it on and jet it. Is it as good as their Banshee pipe? Any info on approximate jetting would be appreciated as well. Sea level, 80-90 degree temp. Stock air box with lid. Thanx.
  23. I suggest Toomey T-5's or CPI's for the type of riding you will be doing. You cant go wrong with CPI's in my opinion. Great on a stock bike, mind bending on a ported machine.
  24. New manifolds? I personally dont think its worth the chedder. Keep your mainfold and file down the rough spots if it bothers you, although I really dont think it matters. I have V-Force on my Shee, my sons shee and my youngest sons' ( THE maniac) blaster, great improvement.
