I have basically the same mods as you, I really like the CPI's. I have outrun everyone around here (most by a bunch) with them and they sound and look awesome. The Rockets look great too but I havent seen any in person. Would really like to run someone with em. I have T-5's on the 99, which is now my sons and the CPI's. The CPI's really came alive when I put the V-Force on this summer. So I guess I'm saying "CPI".

Its easy as snot. Just lossen your chain as much as possible with the chain adjusters on the back of your axle. Take a flat screwdriver and pop off the clip on the master link, pop off the side cover in front of your sprocket, bend the soft metal washer away from your sprocket, remove that sprocket, throw the new one on and button it back up. Should take you no more than a half hour.

Come on in. Grab a brew or 12 and stop on in.

If your three 3 turns out on your air screws go up a size or two on your pilots. You should be about 1 and a half turns out on both air screws. Mains sound way lean to me as well. How do your plugs look?

I put a 15 on the 99, which is basically stock except for the bolt on stuff listed, big difference, just feels faster. A cheap mod that you can actually feel.

I saw it Sunday in between watching the games. Pretty damn awesome, Steve McQueen walks out of a cornfield and takes the stang for a ride. Great commercial!

I voted for Bush, am I a Bush supporter? I dont know. However I do believe he is the lesser of two evils. Kerry just wouldnt make it work, for the lack of a better term, IMHO. I will say this, after reading these posts Its apparent we have a knowledgeable and intelligent base of people here. With that being said, I believe there is no way to stop domsetic terrorism or terrorism from abroad either. We can only plan to defend and hope to God that the information/intelligence is given out before its too late. We have lost far too many of our Troops over in that shit hole of a Country and we should have just left it a smoldering pile of asses and elbows from the get go. Its just dragging on too long at this point. I have kids coming up to that draft age, a son who will be 16 in Jan. and a younger maniac/son who is 11. It worries the hell out of me if there is a draft, and we'll cross that bridge if and when we come to it, but the fact remains, we are the Country we are because of our strong Military. I dont always agree with alot of the bullshit that goes on both in the Country and even in my town with politics and such but on the same token I dont feel like waiting in line for some moldy bread and some friggin toilet paper in some other hell hole of a country. I'm sure some of you received this e-mail already but for those that didnt its kinda long but pretty good. The other day, my nine-year-old son wanted to know why we were at war. My husband looked at our son and then looked at me. My husband and I were in the Army during the Gulf War and we would be honored to serve and defend our Country again today. I knew that my husband would give him a good explanation. My husband thought for a few minutes and then told my son to go stand in our front living room window. He said, "Son, stand there and tell me what you see?" "I see trees and cars and our neighbors' houses," he replied. "OK, now I want you to pretend that our house and our yard is the United States of America and you are President Bush." Our son giggled and said, "OK." "Now son, I want you to look out the window and pretend that every house and yard on this block is a different country," my husband said. "OK Dad, I'm pretending." "Now I want you to stand there and look out the window and pretend you see Saddam come out of his house with his wife, he has her by the hair and is hitting her. You see her bleeding and crying. He hits her in the face, he throws her on the ground, then he starts to kick her to death. Their children run out and are afraid to stop him, they are screaming and crying, they are watching this but do nothing because they are kids and they are afraid of their father. You see all of this son....what do you do?" "Dad?" "What would you do son?" "I'd call the police, Dad." "OK. Pretend that the police are the United Nations and they take your call, listen to what you know and saw, but they refuse to help. What do you do then son?" "Dad...but the police are supposed to help!" My son starts to whine. "They don't want to son, because they say that it is not their place or your place to get involved and that we should all stay out of it," my husband says. "But Dad...he killed her!" my son exclaims. "I know he did...but the police tell you to stay out of it. Now I want you to look out that window and pretend you see our neighbor who you're pretending is Saddam turn around and do the same thing to his own children." "Daddy...he kills them?" "Yes son, he does. What do you do?" "Well, if the police don't want to help, I will go and ask my next door neighbor to help me stop him," our son says. "Son, your next door neighbor sees what is happening, but he refuses to get involved as well. He'll not help you," my husband says. "But Dad, I NEED help! I can't stop him by myself!" "WHAT DO YOU DO SON?" Our son starts to cry. "OK, no one wants to help you, the man across the street saw you ask for help and saw that no one would help you stop him. He stands taller and puffs out his chest. Guess what he does next son?" "What Daddy?" "Watching you in the window, he walks over to the old lady's house, breaks down her door and drags her out. He sets her house on fire and then he...he kills her. He does this while he laughs at you and her. WHAT DO YOU DO?" "Daddy..." "WHAT DO YOU DO?" Our son is crying and he looks down and he whispers, "I'd close the blinds, Daddy." My husband looks at our son with tears in his eyes and asks him..."Why?" "Because Daddy.....the police are supposed to help people who needs them...and they won't help.... You always say that neighbors are supposed to HELP neighbors, but they won't help either...they won't help me stop him...I'm afraid....I can't do it by myself Daddy.....I can't look out my window and just watch him do all these terrible things and... and..... do nothing...so....I'm just going to close the blinds.... so I can't see what he's doing........and I'm going to pretend that it is not happening." I start to cry. My husband looks at our nine year old son standing in the window, looking pitiful and ashamed at his answers to my husband's questions and he says..."Son." "Yes, Daddy." "Open the blinds, son, because that evil man.... now he's at our front door..."What will you do now?" My son looks at his father, anger and defiance in his eyes. He balls up his tiny fists and looks his father square in the eyes, without hesitation he says: "I'LL DEFEND MY FAMILY DAD! I'M NOT GONNA LET HIM HURT MOMMY OR MY SISTER, DAD! I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM, DAD, I'M GONNA FIGHT HIM!" I see a tear roll down my husband's cheek and he grabs our son to his chest and hugs him tight, and says... "It's too late to fight him, he's too strong and he's already at YOUR front door son.....you should have stopped him BEFORE he killed his wife, and his children and the old lady across the way. You have to do what's right, even if you have to do it alone, before it's too late," my husband whispers. THAT scenario I just gave you is WHY we are at war with Iraq and other terrorists. When good men stand by and let evil happen son, THAT is the greatest EVIL of all. Our President is doing what is right. We, as a free nation, must understand that this war is a war of humanity. WE must remove evil men from power so that we can continue to live in a free world where we are not afraid to look out our window so that my nine year old son won't grow up in a world where he feels that if he just "closes" that blinds the atrocities in the world won't affect him. "You must never be afraid to do what is right! Even if you have to do it alone." Be proud to be an American! Be proud of our troops! Support them! Support our President in the midst of this war, so that in the future our children will never have to close their blinds..." -- "Should ever a wise man walk this Earth, you will know him by this sign... there will be a confederacy of dunces against him" - Jonathan Swift

The new (2005) Mustang
Toomey Banshee replied to Toomey Banshee's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I'd take a black on black convertible, 5 speed with a performance chip, flow masters and k & N. Also the rims that were on the "Bullit" mustang were awesome, maybe even that color, that greens was real purty. Man, I dont know what I want. -

Heres a couple pics of the new stang. -
I gotta say, I am not a Ford guy, never owned one, never wanted to own one. My trucks were always Dodge, 2 Ramchargers, 3 Pickups, and my first car, a 73 Plymouth Fury with a 440 Police interceptor motor, (man that thing motored) My performance cars were always GM's, a 79 Trans Am, 74 Pontiac Formula, 85 Z-28 and an 80 Vette (I hated that fucking thing) But I just had the chance to see a 2005 Stang at the local stealership and I want one, BAD. Looks like a 67 Stang both inside and out. Real nice looking ride. I was just wondering if anyone has seen one yet, sorry for the ramble.

I switched over from the black rims this spring. I really liked the black rims on there but I just think the chrome looks better. I still have the black rims, gonna repaint em and throw some sand tires on em.

Yamilube is a good quality oil. I use it in my 99 and have done so since I bought it new. I just did the top end on it in August after 5 years of hard riding. If you wanna switch thats up to you, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with Yamilube. If its easy to get where you are at by all means stick with it.
-
Mine started out with the exact color combo you have. Painted the plastics and frame. As far as black is concerned it does not get any dirtier than any other colors, does show the scratches more though.
-
Yamalube at 32:1 is fine, thats what we run in the 99. However when you port your motor, to take advantage of the power gains your gonna need to upgrade your carbs and go bigger. You cant go wrong with V-FOrce reeds either. If your mainly high speed riding, ex. duning, dragging I strongly recommend going up a tooth to a 15 on your front sprocket.

More power without porting
Toomey Banshee replied to ellison445's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I would get the V-Force, a cool head with smaller domes now, lighten the fly wheel and advance your timing with an adjustable plate. All this should run you about 400-500 bucks. With the extra dough get some good rear tires, believe it or not these really help. Than scout out e-bay for some bigger carbs, 33's or 35's and the proper intakes. Save some money till next season, get her ported, throw on your bigger carbs and your done.
