  1. I dont have any porting planned but who knows, You will, trust me. I was in the same position as you, I have T-5's on the 99 and CPI's on the 94. I would think of CPI's, good on a stock motor, outstanding on a ported machine. T-5's, great pipe too, and sound the best, IMHO.
  2. I had a slipping clutch in the 99 last season. It was slipping for a month or so and I thought I would wait another month, until the end of the season to change it out. Well the clutch broke apart and ripped my crank seal, so I had to replace that and do the top end just because I didnt feel like doing the clutch. Do it now, you wont regret it.
  3. Just bought one and put it on. I needed a clutch, couldnt wait and this is the only one they had. Any experiences with it? Thanx
  4. Who did the motor? Ported? Any pics? Where are you located?
  5. Hey buds. Whats the stock compression on a blaster. My little guys Blaster is running like dick, trying to figure it out. I swear its a fuel, TORS problem, but I cant figure out how to disconnest his tours. No TORS plug, its hard wired right from the top of the TORS to the throttle. Thanx,
  6. Just my son and my brother in law. I've let friends ride my 99 when I had it before I gave it to my oldest son and I have to admit I always got a kick out of them saying "holy friggin shit that thing is fast, here take it back".
  7. Anybody have em? How do you like them? Jetting change from K&N's? Where do I get em? I'm really thinking about ditching my pod K&N's and like the idea of a foam filter system. The stock box is out of the question since I have the 33's so I am really thinking about twin foam filters. Thanks. Bob
  8. hmm, really? I can fit a 315/70R16 on my stock rims? The rims are 16X7 and to be honest, I kinda like the stockers, they held up great and shine awesome and look good too. That would be a home run if they did fit. Thanx, Boon.
  9. Yeah, I was thinking of 33's (305's) as well Loco, but I would much rather have 35's (315's). I really have to mess with the rim back spacing however to put the 315's on. Thanks for the compliments. Whats funny is if you look at the second picture from the bottom theres a shot of my little guy poking his head out the passenger side. Its a Bubba sighting. My oldest guy just pointed that out to me.
  10. Its only 3" but it really helps out the ride. It really rides awesome, much better than stock. Its just a 3" coil spacer for the front,an add a leaf for the rear and some rough country 8000's. The whole shabang took me about 5 hours to do. Its a 98 4X4 1500. Heres a few pix. before: during: and after: Next up are some new tires and maybe some rims.
  11. I have the wheels, calipers, the 3 bolts behind the rotor backing plate all removed. Its a 4X4 and the rotor is not friggin budging. Do I have to take the large nut off thats in the center of the caliper, the one with the cotter pin and the dust cover? I was told by dodge I dont have to. I need a little help here before I friggin melt down.
  12. I wrestled all through middleschool, HS and a year in college. It was a blast, hated cutting the weight though. My sons are very good wrestlers now also. My oldest is a Soph and had a great season last year. He wrestled 135 and went 32-3 on the varsity squad and was 31-6 on varsity as a Frosh. My little guy is in 6th grade and is a maniac. I coached the rec portion of wrestling for 14 years, had a lot of doing it, it was time to hang it up though. Everything really starts to hurt as you hit the big 4-0.
  13. I would bet its an air leak or your throttle cable is pinched or compromised in some way. Check the cable and the carb boots, I'll bet thats where your problem is.
  14. How often does everyone in here change out their reeds? I have 3 quads with V-Force on them, 2 Banshees and a Blaster. I'm obvioulsy gonna keep the set up, just starting to think about changing the reeds out. Thanks.
  15. I just dug 2 ponds in my backyard. One is about 300 gallons and the other under 200 gallons. I have the smaller pond dumping into the bigger pond. I have a large box type filter dumping filtered water into the smaller pond with a pump in the larger pond feeding the filter. (Kinda hard to explain , but pretty simple if you know what I'm talking about.) I have to put the filter RIGHT up to the pond in order for the filtered water to dump into the pond, I tried to run lines to the pond from the filter and just dosent have enough power. The filter right on top of the pond really looks like shit too. Do they make a pump that will pump water from my filter, after its filtered a short distance? Maybe 7-15 feet. I need a fitting on both ends of the pump, intake and supply. Kinda long, sorry, wanted to explain.
  16. Ahhh, Happy Birthday bud. 38, you young wipper snapper you.
  17. How old is this old guy? I'm trying to figure if I qualify as an "old guy".
  18. Yup, your absolutely right. I forgot all about the hush kit. A scam is exactly what it is, to. Just like Ruko pointed out, both the same side silencer.
  19. I think I just answered my own question. I found this in another section here at the HQ. THe silencers on the Vitos Fat Bastard pipes look just like those silencers.
  20. I found these on e-bay. Does Toomey make their silencers like this now? They look pretty good if you ask me.
  21. Yup the big 4-0 Will. We gotta hook up one of these near weekends. Do I still have my VIP parking area at your place? Did you ever make it down my way on the trails with your shee with the mega tank? I'll give you a call.
  22. Yup, 40. Man just looking at that number and shit starts to hurt. Nyuk we should be good to go soon, got things squared away since the end of winter. I cant get anything done in the winter, real busy time of year for me. Thanks alot fellas. 60 more to go.
  23. All hail the new and undisputed champion of the dunes, the Polaris TrailBlazer. Its an oil injected, 2 stroke 250 king of pain. Throw some paddles on and get ready to shread.
