  1. Been down your road before. Get pod K & N's, rejet (probably around 340's or so on the main, 30's on the pilot) run outer wares and be done with it. You'll wind up there sooner or later.
  2. Nice clean lookin bike. 74 HP with stock carbs is pretty good. Kinda wish you were closer and I had some funds. Wouldnt mind adding that to the stable. Good luck selling her.
  3. Ive run nothing but yamalube in my 99 that I brought home new on July 4, 1999. Started at 24-1 with the first 2 or 3 tanks, now run 32-1. Rebuilt once and we ride the piss out of that bike.
  4. Where off 539? If I'm going west on 72 (going towards PA from LBI), do I take right or left on 539 at the light?
  5. I have bikes with T-5's, CPI's and SST's. The T-5's sound the best, CPI's work the best, SST's are the quietest.
  6. I'm sure the cop probably got fired for tagging the piece of shat, and she probably sued the city, the country, the cop, his wife, his kids, his high school teachers, principal, sunday school teacher, the works. These idiots should just move on and get on over to bum fuct ville and get their stupid heads hacked off by the animals over there. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
  7. Get ahold of Jeff @ Fast toys. As far as your clutch basket, check out where the clutch plates sit inside of the basket, if there are any grooves your gonna want to file em down, if you can, if you cant get a new basket from Jeff.
  8. Hope to get up that way a few times this year Willy. Didnt make it once all last summer. The boys just got done with wrestling season, so I have a few things to square away on the shees and I'll give you a holler.
  9. I'm thinking this should be moved to the "ever been a bit too drunk" thread a few below here.
  10. I gotta admit Will. I cant stop looking at the ass in your sig. Man oh man.
  11. On my 99 it didnt rub till I rolled it down a friggin hill and knocked myself out for a few hours. After that they rubbed, but I dont remember why.
  12. OK, so he let you go with a warning and he is still a "pig". WTF is wrong with you?! You should be somewhat thankfull that he let you go, AFTER you were where you shouldnt be and AFTER you were fucked up to boot. Dont be a dick. Maybe you should have been this much of a tough ass when the "pig" stopped you.
  13. Ok, I'm 5-7 and about 210. Any fat man mods? (I think the beer thing has something to do with it).
  14. Jim does outstanding work (the fella that just responded to your post, follow his link) and Jeff, "F.A.S.T." in here does great work as well. Some run Eric Gorr porting and swear by it too. Do a search on Gorr and you'll find his website. You've come to the right place.
  15. My 02 is ported, just a play/mx port and its been pretty hard to dial in the stock carbs.Very fussy to temperature changes and the like. I'm stepping up to some 33's. With porting, of course depending on the type of port and riding preferences, he may just need his bored, or 28's, 30's or 33's and up. As far as domes I run 20's on my 99, which is stock except for pipes and the usual bolt on stuff and we run pump gas. My 02 has a stock head and I can feel the difference in the 99 and the 02. I can tell the compression needs to be raised on the 02. My 94 has 17 domes, race gas and 33's and is a completely different animal than the other two. As far as T-5's are concerned, and this is coming straight from Toomey, the T-5's WILL perform better than the T-6's with port work done.
  16. My Shees are good for extracting large sums of money from my checking and pay pal accounts.
  17. With porting I would ditch the T-6's and get a set of T-5's if your set on Toomeys or just get CPI's and be done with it. Your'e gonna need bigger carbs, 33's come to mind and raise the compression on your machine. Get some 19 or 20 domes. Lighten the fly wheel and get a timing plate to increase your timing. Oh, and some new rear tires, all the new power your stockers will spin. Without a doubt get your crank welded.
